Had only one laser cut key left to my car and needed an extra key made immediately. I requested quotes to almost every key cutting service, and the prices were just so expensive. I finally get a response from the owner of this business, who even suggested that if I had my own, it would be even cheaper. So I did just that, ordered my extra key from amazon; Asked him if it was the right one and sent him a picture and get confirmation immediately. Once I arrived, the owner and other employees were friendly and gave me quick and easy service. The owner even provided me with a water bottle for waiting for 10 minutes for the key to finish programming. Great business!! Please support them if you need any keys or locks opened. I ended up buying a few more keys for myself and my wife for our place. Thank you so much for your great and wonderful service!! read more

Good Lock & Key - Picked up some extra keys for home! They also do laser cut keys for cars. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Pasadena, California

I lost the key to my laundry room on a Saturday and my friend who had used Good Luck & Key suggested I reach out to them. Mike showed up within the hour and got right to work. He was done in 20 minutes tops. Not only did he unlock the door, but he also made two new keys and fixed my front door lock, which had gotten loose throughout the years. Service was impeccable, and his pricing was the best that I found. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommend Good Lock & Key! Arrived on time and was able to get me back in very quickly. Reasonable prices. Super professional and arrived in a company work van with decal on the outside. We called and used a different locksmith first. The other technician arrived later than the quoted time and upon arrival went on the high end of their quote range. They were not able to unlock and still charged us for the call. Lesson learned and we will use and recommend Good every time. read more

Had an issue with my 2005 Honda Civic transponder since January and was tired of having to figure out a driving/pick up schedule with the wife Milad got me a reasonable quote compared to the other locksmiths I checked and came out same day. He determined the issue with parts I'd purchased from Amazon (wrong key chip type) and replaced it with one from his stock for a, once again, reasonable upcharge. We will definitely be using these services next key issue we have read more

I needed a locksmith on short notice, I was able to get someone on the phone asap and an appointment within the date and time I needed. I called to describe my car lock problem and was told I need to drive to the store for help. Fair enough. I show up only to be told by the one working employee that the boss is the only person who can help me and he was out on a job. I'm guessing it was the boss I spoke to on his cell phone who disrespected my time by sending me to the store while he was knowingly out. I'm pretty sure the employee also misdiagnosed the problem because AFAIK the key transponder has nothing to do with manually locking a door. The employee took my number and said they'd call me back when the boss returned. Fool me once... read more

I have a digital lock on my door and never had any issues until this morning. I went to walk my dog and did not take my keys because well I have a digital lock. Upon return, I put in my code, and the door would not unlock. After multiple attempts, I opened Yelp to look for locksmiths. I put in a request for my situation and Yelp contacted 4 companies that looked like they could provide service. Three of the four responded. I went with Good Lock and Key because they had the best value and could get to my home in 30 minutes. Mike showed up at my home within 20 minutes and immediately began to work on the digital lock. For some reason he couldn't get the digital lock to open, but was able to access the home through an alternate entrance. Mike was professional, prompt, helpful and very kind. I would recommend this company to anyone! read more

Amazing! I messaged this business before they were even open and received a quick response regarding my inquiry (already a plus in my book!). Got a great quote and headed over to get my car keys duplicated as soon as they had opened. Mike greeted me as I walked in being his first customer of the day. He duplicated my keys and welcomed me like I was family! Who does this anymore right? Most businesses won't even greet you! Not even 5 minutes go by and he was done. He showed me the completed work and I was good to go. He even went the extra mile to walk me out the door. If this is not excellent customer service, I don't know what is. One thing is for sure...I know where to go back to for any lock and key services from here forward and will be sharing this experience with family and friends. Thanks for the service Mike! read more

My son locked my keys in the glove compartment somehow. It was very frustrating because all the places I tried they didn't do that service but in Good Lock & Key was able to help me out. As soon as my son and I walked in they treated us like family. This is now my Locksmith if I ever need the service this is the place to go, they take care of you and make you fell welcome. read more

I called them when I locked my friend and both of our children out of the house on a hot summer day, just before nap time. Time was of the essence. He said he would be there within 20 mins and he was. He quoted me the price over the phone and that was the price when I paid (via Venmo but they accept all forms of payment). No bait and switch. He showed up and got us in within seconds. Very kind, friendly man who works with his son. I saved their number. Call them if you need help. GOOD, honest people. read more

Mike was quick professional and very skilled. I lost my car keys and he made a new set for me on the spot! Thank you, Mike!

The service was fast and easy! No issues what so ever. Theres plenty of seating inside while you wait. Street parking was right at the front of the store. Not so crowded with parking there. I didn't notice private parking. Correct me please if I'm wrong about it. So the reason for the service I needed... I had a complicated key that I needed copies to. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that not alot of lock smith's carry the type of key I had. I physically went to and also called to a few places before landing here which was closer to me and was right under my dang nose! Key was made with no complications at all! Honestly if they didn't have it, I was just gonna give up. So, I highly recommend them for any of your key service needs. Prices are reasonable and service was impeccable! Big giant shout out to Kenneth who was a big help! He's #1! read more

Got a new (for me) used car which only came with one key so decided to get a duplicate key fob. The dealer was charging between $400-500 and most had to order the key or had weird schedules. I looked into Key Me Locksmiths which was about $350 and said would take 1/2 hour. Dawned on me to look at Yelp and this place had really good reviews so decided to give them a try. While they had to order the key as well which they informed me would take 3-4 business days (I think it ended up being 4), they were able to program it in about 20 min and are nearby. Everything appears to be working so very pleased! read more

Messaged yesterday for a quote and they came today! They guaranteed me the key and programming would work and it did! Super clean and fast job with no issues! My husband found Mike on Yelp. We texted him the photos and arranged for a meeting. Mike did a great job with re-keying 4 locks. He was prompt, courteous, honest and hardworking. He arrived at the time he said he would and very quickly with a smile on his face addressed all the needs (with a better solution than we had previously envisioned). His pricing was very fair and affordable. He has exceptional knowledge in his industry having clearly done this for many years. I was touched by his demeanor. I highly recommend him for any of your key needs and I'm not typically the one to write reviews. read more

Mike from Good Lock and Key is the best!!! After a failed attempt to get automatic locks installed by our alarm company, I called Good Lock and Key and Mike was here by the end of the SAME day to install. His quote was less than the alarm company's and his lock choices were better. Mike finished the job quickly and perfectly. We have had no issues with our Kwikset automatic locks. I will NEVER use another locksmith again!! Thanks, Mike, for such great service. read more

VERY responsive and quick! Milad got back to me after I asked for a quote within minutes on a Sunday! We scheduled for him to come out to my home the next day to make me a key for my car that I had lost :( He is very prompt and doesn't waste time and got right to work. He was very quick! Had my key less than an hour tops. Very glad I went with him. Hopefully I never lose my keys again but if I do, I know the man to call! Thanks again Milad! read more

I've only been to Good Lock & Key to have keys duplicated (several times), but now I will only use Good Lock & Key when I need keys copied. At least 3 times, Good Lock & Key copied keys successfully that I'd copied before elsewhere--with unsatisfactory results. Those 3 times Good Lock & Key made a key that worked just right, in contrast to one "bad" copy that could only unlock but could not lock a door that needed to be locked with the key; one copy that could open one lock but not another lock though the locks shared the same key; and a mail box key that did not work at all. read more

I called this morning and spoke to Milad (Mike). We have a sprinkler control box that is l9cked, and we list the key. He said he could come today and gave me a window. I came to Good Lock and Key after seeing some positive reviews online. I had a broken remote case for my car and recently ordered a replacement on Ebay. Kenneth at Good Lock and Key was able to make a copy of my original key. The price was reasonable and after getting my key, it wasn't working in the ignition. Mike the owner was able to locate the chip from my old remote and put it in the new one. He made sure my car turned on. I'm happy with the results and this option saved me money. Service was fast and they made sure I had what I needed. I recommend this store for your key needs. Thank you. read more

These guys changed the locks on my house about a year ago. Fast forward to this past month and one of the locks was so loose that the knob fell right off. I had no idea how to put it back on and tighten it, so I called these guys up again to come take a look. The gentleman who came literally fixed it in about 5 seconds. I couldn't believe what a fast and easy fix it was! Surprisingly, he did not want to charge me, although I insisted on paying. So yes, I recommend using Good Lock & Key.
