Returning unused unopened material was easy peasy. Andy even researched information on the tile we picked out and made sure we got it right away from thr same lot as the sample we had fallen in love with. They are not the least expensive, but they are competitive and they quoted us the same price as we received from another company without knowthing their price. The do charge freight. Thr big box stores/home improvement stores don't. I still went with One Stop to guarantee getting the tile from the lot we liked and to support local businesses. They had been so good to us for over a year. We ordered off of the measurements my husband gave along with the company who installed our flooring. Plus a cushion. Note needed materials can change for many reason different reasons. We had travertine downstairs so when installing in our family room they needed to use an extra thick layer of thinset to raise it up higher which was an added cost later. Things are unforseen sometimes. My husband works with flooring contractors and understands this. We also wanted to be able to go upstairs where our bedrooms were so we upgraded some of the thinset to rapid set. That way we could walk on it a couple of hours after install rather than the following morning. They do not install flooring as they are not licensed. They do offer business cards to you of companies they know. I highly recommend you use your own. Research reviews, or go with a recommendation from someone you know. Some helpful advice having flooring installed. Double check the tile and make sure that it is what you ordered. Not home? Use your cell phone and photos! Make sure it is being installed properly. Not home? Ask for a photo of a small dry layout or once they are starting a photo of the first few feet. Wrap electronics in plastic. Cover furniture. Flooring contractors don't do this. We would all love for it to be a perfect world, but unfortunately the trade world is far from it and you need to keep up with what is going on. Even long distance. Make sure you have a cushion of funds for thr unforseen in case something comes up. If One Stop doesn't have a tile you like give them thr information and more than likely they can get it for you!

Coming home one day, we noticed Carpet Closeouts hidden behind their truck and decided to see what they could offer. The place has every manufacturer, color and type you can think of and we started looking through books of samples. Dan then appeared and asked what we were looking for. I mentioned our age (obvious by all the grey hair) my hesitancy about the cost, and that I was looking for a non-loop, muddy color that could withstand our dog. I actually had a book open to that exact thing. He asked if I was committed to that particular color selection and then led me out to the warehouse. My initial reaction to the roll of pet safe carpeting he showed was that it was too gray (although it did meet the "dirty soapsuds" color I had described). At half the cost of the ones in the sample book, I realized it was perfect. I appreciated that there was no hard-sell, just multiple options and information. We gave a deposit, they offered suggestions for installers (we got a great one) and our new floors were put in a few weeks later. The color looks great, the feel is good and we love it.They carry a great selection and are very low-key. There were some really great deals on high-end carpeting in that warehouse--especially if you did not need large quantities. We highly recommend.

The other two were not very helpful; they approached me only after standing there for a few minutes - despite the fact they both saw me coming in. One of them made me walk the piece of tile I had towards him so he didn't have to get up from his desk. I didn't get closer than 4-5 feet but flat out told me that he didn't have anything on the store for me - he NEVER actually look at the piece. Don't waste your time if you are looking for good service.

We dropped into the showroom to see backsplash options. Lisa/owner was very friendly and great showing us options/answering questions and providing us grout and tile samples to take home and view there. Matt/Owner, later came out to give us an estimate and confirm what we were thinking. Matt answered any questions and measured and provided us an estimate before he left. Of course we already had chosen what tile we wanted by this time. Matt came when he said he would and installation began when he told me. Some other options I explored, I had to independently figure out installation. Which took a long time trying to get find someone or get someone to get back to me. Floors n More was also competitive on price, compared to other quotes we got. What we liked was they could give us a firm date on install. They also said they would work with us on installation. The amount of rooms we were doing, was going to be a challenge on moving out furniture/clothing/etc. Some other companies, said we had to have all rooms cleared out before they began. We were able to cycle through rooms, that made it more manageble to accomplish. We liked that Floors n More have their own people that do the work. Ramone/installer, arrived on time. He was very courtious/efficient/cleaned up at the end of the day/listened to any questions or concerns we had. He accomplished our job in a week. Floors N More was great to work with. Matt, the owner, was extremely attentive throughout the process--he checked in with me regularly and even sent progress photos along the way, which I really appreciated. His crew was polite, efficient, and worked quickly without leaving any downtime between steps, from sanding to laying the floors to installing the baseboards. One thing I really value is that they stood by their work. After the main job was complete, they came back promptly to fix small areas that needed attention, such as caulking and a few misaligned nails in the baseboards. The finished floors are smooth, level, and feel wonderful to walk on. One critique would be the pattern of how the planks were laid. In some areas, the seams line up in a way that feels a bit repetitive, and I would have preferred more variation in the staggered pattern. That said, the quality of the workmanship and customer service was excellent, and I would happily recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking to have their floors done.
