Unless you were searching for this place, it's pretty easy to miss. A lot of the stores in this shopping center has red font store signs and it can be easy to read over it. But!!! If you are lucky and are in need of boba you'll be so happy to have found this place. the interior is very cute and different compared to other gong cha, I feel like they put more effort into entertainment and aesthetic. We love this gong cha location, the staff is always always friendly. One of my favorite drinks is their strawberry matcha latte and paired with original egg waffle. Was super excited when I saw they were finally open. I got the wintermelon foam drink, and it had a nice salty kick to my sweet enough drink. Wasn't able to adjust sweetness on this particular one, but they added more ice to fix that. Super glad I don't have to drive all the way to Annandale to get a good drink now. After scouring the NOVA area's plethora of boba shops, I have concluded that Gonga Cha is top tier! This particular location is relatively new, but it still serves up the best bubble tea in the area. The staff has always been attentive and on top of it, and my drinks have been consistent without any issues. The restaurant space is open, clean, and bright with room for a line to form without being confused with the area to wait for order pick-up. Additionally, they have one self-service kiosk to order at if you don't want to go to the register to order. It's easy to use and only requires your phone number and a credit card to pay. I've used them when the register line is too long and I know exactly what I want. My go-to is the Oolong milk tea with no boba with 50% ice and sugar since you're able to adjust the ice and sugar amounts. I've found this to be extremely helpful since some boba places seem to heap on the sugar. read more

I've been waiting for Gong Cha to open near me. I was so excited so we went for the opening day. It was very crowded and you can tell the employees aren't as well organized yet. I ordered on the app but still took a long time waiting for my drink. The boba is a bit tougher than usual and the tea flavor in the black milk tea was kinda lacking. The basil seeds winter melon drink was on point and it's one of my favorite non caffeinated drinks from gong cha! The other recommendation is White Pearl Ai-yu. I like Gong Cha in general because it offers more non caffeinated options compared to Kung Fu Tea. And it has sweet snacks like donuts and waffles. We are super happy that it opened in Springfield.
