The spa is pretty. I arrived about 630 in the evening on a Thursday for a pedicure and chose a mid level pedicure. They did not have the add in lavender as advertised so they made a substitute. For 78 dollars I ended up with a decent gel pedicure but a broken anklet that they did not compensate me for and had to have fixed myself. Their callus removal and massage was minimally applied. I paid, but it is the principle that my natural nails that's I've been growing out for almost a year now are DESTROYED and all they did was take the $10 and leave it at that. I thought I'd save a few minutes and stop here instead of driving into Grovetown to my normal place. Huge mistake. I've had SNS removed several times (usually a combination of grinding and acetone) but nothing compares to how painful this was. He started by taking nail clippers to the tops. Anyone who's had fake tips with SNS knows that the polish is THICK and breaking it is painful. They proceeded to use a fake nail to literally PRY the SNS polish off of my nails in one piece. If I wanted removal to be painful, I could have done that myself. It absolutely destroyed my nails and now they're paper thin. I pulled my hands away several times in pain and he just shook my fingers as if that made it better. I left with my nails torn, rough, and jagged. Overall, extremely disappointing. read more

Prices are extremely inconsistent and it's very frustrating to deal with. 2 weeks ago I go to get a fill in, cut down and gel polish and it was $30. Now it's $35. Last month it was $25. My girlfriend took us here after no other salon could take us. She called and booked us an appt for mani/pedis. We walked in and we're taken to the pedicure chairs. They did use a liner to keep the foot bath clean. As they filled up the tub, they gave us a menu of their services. We pick out what we want and go from there. You know I'm not too sure how they clean / how clean the tools are as they were brought out on a tray, but my girlfriend swears up and down that she's never had a problem here. I'd prefer to see them open a sanitation bag or have a single use kind of thing, but maybe that's just me. The pedicure was okay. The lady wasn't friendly and didn't really talk to me at all, but she didn't rush and took her time. She did hurt me once and I pulled my foot away in response, but she didn't apologize or acknowledge she hurt me and kept going. Another staff member did the mani. She was nice-er but also didn't talk much. The only time they talked or laughed was to each other in another language, and I always get uncomfortable when that happens. When we go to pay we ask about military discount. She says the do have it, and while she says one price and showed me on the calculator, I was charged a higher price. I wished their receipt was itemized because I'd actually like to see why and what I was charged for. Overall, just an okay spot right outside one of Ft. Gordon's gates. Let me start by saying that I do not ever leave reviews, but my experience was SO bad I have to share. I went in with beautifully longs that had gel polish on them which I had done two weeks ago at this salon. That experience was fine. This time I had the same manicurist. He was so aggressive I kept flinching, as he filed the top of my nails and kept bending my long nails down, which if you have every experienced you will know how incredibly uncomfortable that is. At one point he was so rough that wHEB I pulled away he broke my nail half way up the nail bed. At that point in time a female manicurist took over. She seemed irritated to be helping me and finished my nails within 10 minutes. The entire manicure lasted all of 15 minutes. My nails werent filed into a uniform shape, my cuticles were not touched, and some of my nails have the old gel polish around the edges. I had almost lost faith in finding a decent nail salon for the nail dipping powders and great gel nail products. Most salons on my side of town are closed on Tuesdays (their loss)...so I found this lil gem and decided to give them a try. Upon walking in, I was graciously greeted by the staff and instantly seated. I appreciated the fact that the business did not have that strong acetone or acrylic like smell. It was clean, and we'll kept. Everything looked organized and pretty much in place. I wanted to get my nails done because a previous salon had done such a horrible job on them. But that's a whole nother review... They have several different brands and colors of dipping powders to choose from and were extremely polite while trying to accommodate my nail requests. This is my first time trying the pointy style nails vs the traditional square style I always get. I think they turned out pretty good, except for the fact that the over part looks a bit messily done. The gentleman who did my nails was not familiar with doing the tips let alone ombre with the powder dips. But he tried and the young lady who introduced herself as Tina's sister, helped guide him with shaping, while Tony helped explain to him how to do the actual ombre part. Needless to say I knew I was a guinea pig without being able to translate their conversations between each other. In all honesty, I'm completely satisfied with my nails despite the fact that they aren't perfect because when he was done he felt a sense of accomplishment and I know we all gotta start somewhere when new fashion trends are thrown at us. I feel that with time the ombre part will definitely get better and if I'm the only person willing to keep sitting in his seat, then so be it!!! I've been here a few times and each visit was different. The service here is inconsistent and overpriced. Whatever you do, don't go with the male workers. They are lazy and sloppy. Interior is just like any average salon. Nothing special or unique. They greet you once you enter the door and ask what service you're looking for. We were seated right away. I got an acrylic set done by one of the guys. I showed him 2 pictures of what I wanted. The pictures were actually from a customer on their yelp page and the style Is called an ombré from pink to white. It was done by someone from their salon. I told him that I didn't want shellac. After he put the powder over the acrylics he asked what color I wanted and I showed him the picture again and told him white and pink. He gave a little attitude and said "it's too late... I can't do it. I asked you before...you said no gel...*mumbling*". I told him that i still didn't want shellac and said it's fine if he couldn't do the ombré and that I'll just get a single color. He paused for a minute and told me "no no I can...I can do it." I told him multiple times that it's fine if he couldn't do it but insisted that he could so we proceeded and failed. After his poor attempt of an ombré, he had me place my nails under the uv light to dry. I went up to the register to speak with another lady and told her to fix my nails because they look horrible and she sat me down at her station and said she would fix it for me after she helped another customer. She knew I was upset and looked upset herself at how bad my nails looked. She left to help her other customer and not even a minute later the guy comes up to me and asked what was wrong with my nails. I was like really? Look at them and you tell me. You were going to just let me walk out here and pay for shitty ass nails?!!? They were blotchy, uneven, and harsh lines.He looked at them and said, come come I fix it for you, I paint it. Round 2...he basically did the whole powder and file process again. They look better than his first attempt but definitely inconsistent and sloppy. He clearly doesnt know how to do the ombré style with polish or powder. He wasn't friendly and his customer service was bad. He seemed like he just wanted to rush through it and get to the next customer. If it wasn't for Jennifer, the lady who was trying to help me, I was not going to pay and come back but she was sweet and said that she would fix it for me for free next time. This place is an inconvenient location for me because I live in the downtown Augusta area. However, I've found that it's always worth the drive and now I don't even hesitate. It takes less time to drive here and get taken care of immediately than to go to another place and sit around in a chair for who knows how long! The quality of their manicures and pedicures is some of the best I've experienced. They always look great, everything is very clean and the entire staff is incredibly friendly. The nail tech there Michael, I like him. He's thorough with his job. It's never rushed & sloppy. I've been a frequent at this shop for about 3 months now. The reason being is because of the convenient location. This shop is literally two blocks from my house. As often as I come here though, I don't think it'll be my "nail home" so-to-speak. I don't think any of these people even know who I am (or care to). On top of that, the owner is pretty careless with business hours in the morning. I came by at 9am because the "open" was flashing. We were turned around by some male employee (I believe her husband) and told to come back at 10 because that's when she was gonna come in. The H.O.O says they open at 9:30 though. Terrible customer service! Made an appointment with my wife the day before since we were on a time crunch. They open at 930 but said they would be there at 0900. They were not so we got coffee next door. 915-920 checked and they were open. People seated and being worked on we came in said we had an appointment and they seated us. Gave us the price list. Sat for 20+min when I asked why there was a 3-4 dollar difference for a men and woman they didn't want to answer at first. I asked if they used different products for men and if they could show me the different products. The response I got was if you don't like our prices you can go somewhere else! Seriously?! Sexist crooks. They didn't even try to make some lame excuse like men's feet tend to be bigger or something like that. As in they would need more product. Do NOT get eyelash extensions here. They use false lash bundles and they are itchy and feel like a broom. When I asked for the "long" so they look longer than average, they looked absolutely awful. It looked like cheap false lashes. I just spent a good amount of time trying to take them off right after my appointment because I was almost in tears at how bad they looked. She glued them above my lash line and on top of the fact that they looked cheap and overly dramatic, they were crooked. So so disappointed. read more

I only ever get an acrylic set from here and I get my cuticles sliced each time from the nail drill due to the nail tech rushing. They always rush the nail polish (I get gel polish) and it ends up looking sloppy near my cuticles. However if they take their time, their work is pretty. I visited Golden Nails , i had a ok visit a lady by the name of Jenn did my nails and of course it chipped , but mean while at the Salon i watched how one of the workers was treated and because of that ill never go back, the young lady is very nice and well mannered but she is honestly treated wrong!!
