Yes it's a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I mainly get a mani/pedi and wax. The pedi experience is phenomenal . You can chose a basic package or upgrade to hot stone , or better get splurge on a heated foot massage. They have a variety of colors to pick from. And while I am very basic with my nail selection, I see a lot of patrons getting trendy manicures and nail art. The staff is very friendly and they know their clients by name. It is truly a full service experience from start to finish.

I left there around 11am and around 6 pm i noticed the huge chip off my nail. I could understand if i was doing crazy activities to make it come off but i literally had a final and a potluck. No activity at all that would reasonably cause this. I attempted to call but they were near closing. I will call tomorrow to hopefully fix this. Edit: It's getting worse! 2 other nails have started "lifting" the polish. I called them and they said i could come in on Monday to fix it so fingers crossed

As for the service, they rush you through your pedicure abs then don't polish well. The main lady here is super rude too! I was going to get my nails done but after her attitude and the poor job of my technician (Daniel, I believe) I decided against it. It's sad when service is not paramount at a SERVICE BASED BUSINESS! My suggestion to them is: if you want to charge extra then at least provide something EXTRA in your service. Try being FRIENDLY and providing a SPA LIKE ENVIRONMENT! I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

So I found this salon on another review on Yelp about a different salon that was given a low…read morereview. In this young lady's review she had mentioned she had found a wonderful salon, who had done an amazing job on her nails. So I sent her a message on Yelp and asked her what salon she was talking about. She's the one who told me about Vena nails! This is the one! This is the fantastic salon that other's rave about on Google review. Because yelp review was the first one that I looked at, I felt compelled to come back and add a review since they only had one person put a review 1 year ago. They are an appointment only salon, which I like. When I walked in the door a man smiled and welcomed me in, and then a woman. Both very welcoming.. who I found out later are a husband and wife team who owns the salon. The husband started working on my hands first. And then I met his wife Lin. I showed a picture of what I wanted to Lin and told her how I had gone to 4 other salons in the area. No one had done a great job or even a good job for that matter. She made a point of taking her time to listen. Both her and her husband made me feel like they actually wanted my business! None of the other salons seem to care less either way. Its important to me that I found a place that I felt welcomed and that they appreciated my business. I found it here at Vena Nails. So she went to work putting a full new set on. She mixed a special powder for me because I like fine glitter on my nails. After it was all said and done. She took one hour to remove the old nails and put a new beautiful set on!!! ( that's amazing time) First shop in town that has met my complete satisfaction! I am very pleased with her work! She gave me the exact length, shape and thinness that I like my nails. And she's not extreme with her prices, like the other shops have been. I'm from California and a full set in Northern California runs about $ 50.00 a full $30-40 ( not counting any extra nail art) I've been paying like $50.00 plus they charge $15.00 for the gel polish here on the East Coast!! (I had never heard of such a thing, charging extra for gel polish) And I'm sure most people know how expensive California can be. Lin and her husband are reasonably priced. I appreciated that too! Thank you to Lin and her husband. ( Sorry I did not catch his name.) 5 stars plus!!
