Great little nail spot in Grovetown. I got a full set on my hands and gel pedicure on my toes. The attention to detail was everything! There will be a wait for service BUT it's because they take their time to get it just right so I don't mind waiting. I appreciate their understanding of keeping my nails no more than 1/4 inch for work, and they were able to shape the short nails to look just as feminine. Wish I could give a zero. I ahve come 4 times here and loved it but this time was horrible. I came in told them what I wanted and signed in. An hour later that I had been waiting the guy that has the first chair pretty much blamed me for signing in and sitting down and said if I want somebody he's the man to speak to?!?! Wow really? You as the worker should ask the customer hey is there someone you would like and not be a straight up jerk getting upset with me cause I signed in like you're supposed to. Loved that aspect! & the nails I got were aesthetically fine but my nail tech really was rough on my fingers while filing/drilling -- this really ruined the whole "relaxation" aspect of a nail salon trip. I ended up bleeding twice because of the filing and was sliced up all around the edges of my nails/cuticles with the drill; it's been a couple hours now and my nails feel sore, like little paper cuts all around my nails; went out & bought some Neosporin to ease the pain! First time doing my nails at this nail salon. I did a gel mani and pedi which took almost 2 hours. I had an older lady who did my gel pedi, she was really quite, slow but very thorough with my nails. Polish came out amazing !!! I then waiting a little while for a male to do my nails, I believe he may have been the owner of the salon. But, he did poorly with my nails. The female's nails he did prior to mines was beautiful, amazing results. & I was a little disappointed as to why mines turned out not as beautiful. There is air pockets the nail-bed wasn't smooth my nails turned out bumpy. When I cashed out, the male tech said "if the polish comes off whatsoever and you want us to fix it, just come back". Not a place I would recommend. I asked three different people if they could accommodate the nails I wanted. I got nails that had no nail structure. My nails had no apex so a week later they hurt. I wouldn't complain if the structure of the nails was correct. I can get past the image not being right, but the money I spent was not worth it. I wanted a sunflower and they gave me a dot flower. I got these done the 18th, and it's now the 21st, both broke within the last hour. wasn't even doing anything that adds unnecessary pressure to the nails, just pulling down my swimsuit. I've had 5 dollar plastic nails that lasted longer than that, and under more pressure. Now, my nails don't look good and I'm going out of town and don't have time to get them done elsewhere. Not worth $60. Only reason it's getting two stars is because it was the perfect shape, even though I had to file the edges where there was overlay hopefully I can fix them, as I was in Cosmetology school, nails just weren't my strong suit. read more

This continues to be my favorite place to get a manicure. I've only had one not great experience and I think it was more that I wanted a dip nails with short nails so they came out kind of bubbly and looked odd. But every other time has been excellent. They are still enforcing masking but I did see a couple of people (not employees) not wearing a mask indoors even though there is a big sign out front stating NO MASK NO SERVICE. I would come prepared to mask anyway regardless of vaccination status. Plus nail chemicals and powders smell bad anyway. I got a simple manicure today with regular nail polish and most places will just paint your nails and send you on your way but I got a little hand massage too. They are always so nice here that it's definitely my favorite place to get my nails done in town. read more

This was my first time at LC Nails. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was very polite! I had my pedicure with gel polish done first, and it was amazing. The massage chair was super comfortable and the service I received was great. I also had my coffin-shaped acrylics filled in and repainted with gel polish with a matte top coat. I sat in chair number five. The new coffin shape was inconsistent and the polish is not smooth on my nails. The matte top coat seems to attract dirt and dye off of clothing and doesn't stay clean for very long. It's hard to tell in the picture. read more

The issues started with the edges of the polish not being cleaned up. Now a week later the polish looks absolutely disgusting and came off around the edges. Not sure what kind of topcoat they're using that it turned out like this without contact with crazy chemicals. I went to table 7 and i was a little skeptical because when he started filing my nails i could tell he didnt really know what he was doing. I asked for a full set including tips and when he put the tips on i noticed that he was putting them on in the middle of my nails. I was like sir i do not think you are doing this right and he said do not worry they will look fine. I recently moved to Grovetown and wanted to try this place out since it looks fancier and cleaner than most of the other nail salons I've been to in the Augusta area. I was promptly greeted. There were plenty of dip powder colors neatly arranged. I got dip powder on my nails and a regular pedicure. The staff was very friendly and polite, which is very important to me. Usually, when I get dip powder, the tech seems to rush through and I can find so many imperfections that I'm unsatisfied with. However, this time was completely different. I wish I had asked his name, but I will next time. He took his time, he even helped me pick another color when my first choice didn't work out, and this is probably the most pristine dip powder manicure I have ever had. Prices were also reasonable! Very nice place. The older woman did my nails however she doesn't cut down the cuticle and the paint job is not smooth. My gel manicure was already peeling on day three. It was very disappointing. I kept asking for the cuticle to be cut and it never was. After $70+, I left the shop feeling and looking the same as when I walked in. Just with added color. Very disappointing as I've heard great things about this shop. I left for vacation the next day and my nails were a complete distraction as the gel continued to peel and cuticles continued to form hang nails on the side of my nail bed. read more
