I waited to review until I had visited several times. The location is just gorgeous and super convenient if you're going to the mall or working near the 520. I have gotten a full set of acrylics, gel polish, repair, and fill-ins. I can always get an appointment when I want it. They also welcome walk-ins (I just prefer having an appointment). I make my appointments either here on Yelp! or when I'm leaving the salon at the end of my most recent appointment. The chairs are comfortable. The service is high quality but also timely. Toby is my favorite nail technician. I look forward to getting a pedicure one of these days in addition to my regular nail services. This place is absolutely gorgeous. It gave me luxury hotel vibes. Then gave me a tiny water and answered any questions I had. I got a fill in. It looked fabulous. Unfortunately a few days later my nails started breaking in half. I was doing simple things like scratching and doing laundry. I feel like my nails should be able to survive me scratching. Don't think I'll be back. I don't like to waste money. They also said $25 for a fill in. It's on the window. He said this set (before the gold) was $65. I was obviously high for letting it go. Absolutely amazing!! Toby did my full set of acrylics and they turned out absolutely beautiful. They are real professionals and incredibly personable. I haven't been able to find a nail salon I can stay with for one reason or another for six months. This salon is literally everything I could want and more. DONT GO HERE the service was horrible he was so rushed the entire time and there was only one other customer in the store. They charged me $10 to remove my previous set and they just ripped my sns nails off with a nail clipper. He said my nail wasn't smooth and that's why the color was coming out uneven even after he filed down my nail. Very short massage and the polish was not properly applied. Louis did my full set and I was very pleased. Used to come here regularly when my nail tech lived here and worked there, but since he left the quality of any other staff has seemed not as good. Since Covid, they seemed short staffed, rushed, and have extremely long wait times. I got a gift card, went to use it, & waited for 2 hrs before I was able to be seen. It was a week day late afternoon time. My nails looked great, but my issue was I asked specifically for SNS polish and was told they use a gel top coat (which I expressed I was allergic to), but after waiting that long, I just dealt with the allergic reaction afterwards (I treat it with a lot of benedryl and ibprohen). I recommend them for pedicures, but if you want SNS or any dipped powder polish- don't use them. They charge more for a cheaper product and incorrect product for that polish system. read more

I want to give 5 stars but prices stop me from being completely happy with the salon. I must admit I have been going there for the last 5 months and Mary has always done a great job and make my hands look beautiful. There is a reason most of the times I have been there I don't see many people. You hear a lot of comments in what I believe to be Vietnamese or a different language that is not English and receive looks based on your appearance. I'm proud of my Hispanic culture and the only reason I still go there is to see Mary and she makes it feel like a family visit. I go every 4-5 weeks and I have never had issues with my nails. ****Horrible experience and customer service. False advertising of prices. **** Daughter requested a Fill for her fingernails and was told $20 for a Fill. During the Fill the nail attendant spilt gel top coat down my daughters full leg and onto her shoe. Thus causing burning, uncomfortableness, and complete ruin of shoes. Strike One. Strike Two- Nail attendant made NO attempt to clean gel off her leg or her shoe. Strike 3 - after completing I inquired how they planned to fix the issue. They said instead of $35 they would only charge me $30. I inquired how it went from $20 to $35. I was told it was because she had longer nails-however length of nails does not change process of Fill. I attempted to explain to manager the multiple problems but he made no attempt to fix, or apologize, just kept telling me to pay $30- pay $30. I paid full amount, plus tip. However, we will never be repeat customers. Once again Louis did it again slayed my nails. QC Nails Spa is very clean, welcoming, and overall has great customer service. Today at 9:30am was my second time being waited on by Louis and just like the first time I was very satisfied. I was so satisfied I made an appointment with him. I came early and I didn't have to wait a second everything was right on time. Louis asked like my first time if I wanted something to drink and asked if I was okay. Your choice water, soda, or wine. I chose water and Louis and I continued to catch up. Louis is very patient and very talented and pays very great attention to detail. I showed up with a picture from the internet and he was on point and looked even better than the photo. I don't plan on going anywhere else and if he leaves I will follow him. I plan on trying more of their services that QC has to offer. I'm a busy mother of two and I have found a new place to look forward to on my days off from work. Initially I loved how fast the service was. Everyone was really nice. Tina did my pedicure and she did an amazing job. I feel like the pricing is a bit high. I asked about the full set and I was told it was going to start at $35. I ended up paying $80 just for the set which to me was extremely overpriced considering I had asked for coffin shaped nails and both my hands have different thickness when it comes to the acrylic & the shape is either longer or shorter. I got a French tip with gold foil on 2 fingers on each hand & like I said I feel like it was overpriced being that the work didn't need to cost that much. None of my fingers have the same shape all the way thru. Yes they are nice, but this was not a job that should have been charged at that price. I didn't get much cuticle maintenance with it either as far them cleaning & prepping. The people are nice and friendly and all that, but it was overpriced. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY! The worse experience I've ever had getting a Mani and pedi. They over charge. When you ask what the price will be, it will different when I went to pay. I am warning anyone from going to this place!! I have been a customer since June 4th and I initially thought this was an awesome salon. I've been trying to find a place in augusta that can perfect stiletto and almond shapes and also offer ombre nails...thought this was the place. I went in and asked for my nails to be removed for a fresh full set and was HORRIFIED. All of my nails had green and brown fungus on them. I have been getting acrylic nails done since I was 12, im 28 and this has NEVERRRRR happened to me. The manager first lied and said it was because i've never gotten my nails done since june 4th...im in the fashion industry my appearance is of the utmost importance, i could never go that long without my nails done. I pulled up photos of every time ive been back to redo my nails...a total of 6 times since 6/4. He then said that they recommend sns because gel and acrylic can sometimes cause fungus....SINCE WHEN??! i asked if whatever crappy products or tools they're using causes fungus why wouldnt they STOP USING THEM AND ACTUALLY WARN THE CUSTOMERS he was silent. He came back and offered me 10% off and said the fungus will grow out? Another employee named Brenda came over and said sometimes the nail techs accidentally leave space between the acrylic and nail and water and things get inside and cause fungus. I could tell by her tone this wasnt the first time. Not to mention every single time ive gotten my nails done at this place ive had to come back for broken nails due to their weak or cheap acrylic but i kept coming because i love the ombre look. Please stay away no ombre is worth your health...fungus is unacceptable. I am considering taking legal action. read more

Let start by saying the business is nice and clean my complain is the young lady who started out with my toes had to stop and service another person so a guy step in and finish not a problem so I let my toes dry PAID for my service included a tip . I was on my way out the door and the guy who finished my toes ran behind thinking I didn't pay. He watched me so hard from the back he missed that part won't return. I have been to QC Nails 3 times. The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly. Tina does the best pedicures! I always get a dip manicure and have for years. The first time I visited the shop Vinny did my manicure and the second time it was Louis, both did an excellent job. I probably should have scheduled an appointment with one of them, because the third time my good luck ran out. My tech unfortunately did a less than stellar job. I paid $55 for dip powder & a manicure. My cuticles are not pushed back (it doesn't even look like I got a manicure), the top coat polish is on my skin, and one of my nails is not fully covered in dip powder. When I got home I also filed down a few of my nails that were jagged and attempted to remove top coat from my skin. When you get one of the skilled techs the experience is wonderful, but if you don't it's not so great! read more
