This is a bright, clean, tastefully decorated space. It's conveniently located right on Washington Road, making it easy to get to from anywhere. Leslie is a gracious, chatty person who puts you immediately at ease. No small feat when the subject is ripping your hair out by the roots. She is careful and keeps me talking, laughing and sufficiently distracted so our time together goes quickly and smoothly. The hairdressers at the salon do a brisk business, but I've not had the opportunity to patronize them. It is hypnotic watching them at their craft though. It's easy to recommend Leslie's salon, but I encourage you to go see for yourself the next time you need some 'maintenance' done.

The receptionist answered my questions, although she never looked up from texting on her phone to do so. When I asked about the teacher discount, she said it was 10%. I said, really? Cuz the sign on your door says 20%. She then rang me up, and didn't give me the discount until I asked about it again. Never. Again.

Regarding the wax itself: the chair was covered in a very light cover that was porous and did not properly cover the table. I HOPE they clean the actual table but I tried not to think about it during the wax.. I walked out with hair still on me and had to clean it up myself when I got home. I usually got the last appointment during the weekdays(9pm). They close at 10pm which I loved. But what I hate is that it's only 50 minutes instead of a full hour on the table. And sometimes they had me waiting more than 5 minutes to come in. It doesn't take 10 minutes to get dressed and undressed. Get out of here. Anyway overall I was pleased with my year of monthly massages and facials. I loved everyone I encountered there. The front desk is always so nice. It's in a busy shopping center. Good parking. Nice waiting room for members. Flexible scheduling. Sometimes they have you waiting a little past your appointment which I didn't like too much, but they have to clean the rooms so I understood. You walk in and feel totally swept away by the beautiful decor. The store is clean, the seating is comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They even offer drinks to the customers while they work. My second visit was equally charming. Max was my nail tech and he was a total professional. We had a light conversation while he worked and he did a superior job. I told him he would be "my guy" when I return in a couple weeks. The prices are fair and the range of services is wide. I'm still new to manicures, but I feel so fancy when I walk out of there.
