Amazing Massage and Customer Service! I had my second massage with Precious and she is Wonderful! Her name definitely fit's her. She is Precious. My first one was a 60 minute , yesterday I had a ninety minute. It's definitely a ninety minute here on out. She listens to what you need and I felt beyond relaxed when I left. It was the BEST massage I have ever had. My friend that is also a Wellness Member there like myself I told her about Precious and she has already booked an appointment with Precious since her therapist recently moved away. I highly recommend the Wellness Program also. Paige at the front desk is also Amazing she is the Sweetest and also makes sure you feel welcomed. As a mother of multiple children that works full time and attends school full time, I'm not a person that likes to do bad reviews but sometimes it can't be avoided. I've been a member of Massage Envy since 2018, I won't lie and say that it's been a constant bad experience, but I do feel like there has been more bad than good when it comes to our relationship. Saturday, November 25, 2024, was my breaking point. Although I've had plenty of occasions where I've scheduled appointments and had them cancelled, this one affected me in a different way. On this day I was really looking forward to my massage because it's been a while since they've had something available when I called in to schedule an appointment that's within my schedule. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 am, I got there early, checked in and was able to update my information on their iPad and sit down and wait in their waiting room. There was another person there waiting as well, she was called back around 9:05. The person at the front desk came to me at around 9:10 am and told me that the person I had an appointment with wasn't able to make it in. This has me irritated because I could've been catching up on some much-needed rest, chores, schoolwork, ect., had they notified me in time or had someone there as a backup for the person that wasn't able to make it. Since I've been dealing with constant cancellations and nothing in return for my inconvenience I decided to ask if they could cancel my membership, I was told that they could cancel my membership, but I had 60 days to use 11 sessions. I let her know that I couldn't use 1 visit within 1 month so there's no way I could use 11 sessions in 2 months. She then let know that I could keep my 11 sessions if I paid $20 a month. I requested a refund because their business practices are unethical, and the constant mishandling of scheduling is becoming more draining relaxing. I shouldn't have to pay $20 to keep from losing money that we've paid for them because they're either too low on therapist or their therapist have left because their management doesn't treat them well. I appreciate Keyanna, their front desk assistant, for being honest with me and escalating my issue to their owner but when I did receive a call from management they told me exactly what she said. I don't appreciate that they're not taking into consideration all of the mess I've dealt with over the past few years and just want them to refund us for our 11 sessions. It's been a long 6 years, and I just want out without having to waste money that could go towards something I could actually us within a timely manner. read more

There's no point in making appointments they Canceled my appointment that I had without even calling and telling me the only reason I found out was because I called them and then they tell me it will be 3 weeks until They have availability with the person I have my appointments with And they had just made my appointment two weeks prior. The level of quality COMPLETELY depends on which masseuse you are given. This is the same for ALL Massage Envys. That being said, if you can, ask for ANGELA. I have NEVER had a more thoroughly attentive massage in my life, and I have gone to countless others. She is the only one who truly worked on what I asked for. Lastly, DO NOT Waste your time with the facials. They use a system that you can buy and do at home on your own. I have no doubt that they probably work, but only if you went once a week. Our accounts have been frozen for several months now because we can't seem to burn the accumulated hours we already have. So my year is finally up. I signed up for my membership after my first appointment. I was taken to a room to discuss my options. They were friendly but a little pushy on signing you up. Which I get it is a business after all. Anyway it's 39 dollars for your first massage. I usually tip 10 for an hour but I gave her 20 because it was an amazing massage and It was so cheap the first time around. Anyway I came back monthly and loved it every time. Other than one time I was taken to a room in the back near their lunch room I guess and it was so loud. I could hear them talking and the door open and close. Not so relaxing. So I started getting their facials too for an additional 39.99 I think. They use Murad products. I was glowing and so relaxed every time I left my appointment. They are flexible with their schedule. I usually got the last appointment during the weekdays(9pm). They close at 10pm which I loved. But what I hate is that it's only 50 minutes instead of a full hour on the table. And sometimes they had me waiting more than 5 minutes to come in. It doesn't take 10 minutes to get dressed and undressed. Get out of here. Anyway overall I was pleased with my year of monthly massages and facials. I loved everyone I encountered there. The front desk is always so nice. It's in a busy shopping center. Good parking. Nice waiting room for members. Flexible scheduling. Sometimes they have you waiting a little past your appointment which I didn't like too much, but they have to clean the rooms so I understood. They offer water and/or tea. Very clean. They use great products and have good hygienic protocol, which is a must for me. Heated blankets on tables which I loved. Nice soothing music playing. It's amazing that almost every time I have an appointment or book an appointment there are issues here. Last week I stopped by to schedule some appointments since I have 14 accrued scheduled 4 appointments including some stretching. I get back to work and I get a call that they need to reschedule all of those appointments. Really why did I waste 30 minutes scheduling them. Every good therapist leaves so there is no consistency. You have to book days in advance and sometimes that's hit or miss. Today is icing on the cake I book a 60 minute massage with muscle enhancement and when I check I'm I'm told that the therapist has sinus issues and can't use the muscle enhancement cream. Well why book her with that service ? I can't cancel my membership or I'll lose the 14 massages. It costs me to give them away, they don't let you freeze your membership anymore. For GOD Sake get it together please My other pet peeve is the fact they advertise a one hour massage. I totally understand why the massage is only 50 minutes, but don't advertise a one hour massage. I submitted a cancellation to Massages Envy in Augusta on December 13, 2017 and this time I have proof. I was reviewing my checking account looking for other information and discovered Massage Envy debited my account in March April May and June of 2018. This represents $240, and I consider this wire fraud and theft and will be contacting the Georgia Attorney General to file a formal complaint and insist on an investigation into the possibility of criminal charges. Hit or miss experiences. I've been a member for 4 years and have been to probably 8-10 locations. Finding a good/attentive massage therapist takes time and often isn't worth the price. Facials are wonderful, just make sure to ask not to be sold products the whole time-makes for a less than relaxing experience! Receptionists are very friendly. This was the first time I have had a professional massage in my entire life, and it was pretty good. I opted for something between a Swedish Massage and a Deep Tissue Massage, and it was pretty good. It wasn't necessarily as even as I would expect - about half or a little more of the time was focused on my back, and my extremities and neck got about 35-40% of the time - not a big deal, just something to note. I really let my massage therapist do his thing, and I didn't intervene much, because I wanted to see how he would do. I gave him my trouble spots at the beginning, and let him go from there. It was a pretty decent experience overall, and I would probably go back, just not that often, due to the price point. Even if you decide to sign up for the membership, if you aren't getting massages literally every month, I'm not sure that it's necessarily worth it. The girl at the front when I was there, Angel, was super sweet and made sure that I was satisfied before I left. The facility is also clean and has a nice ambiance. read more

When we walked in the establishment was very clean and well put together. We had to fill out a questionnaire about what we wanted done during the massage, however none of those areas were actually addressed. I arrived to massage envy at 5:15 as instructed to fill out paperwork. After that and a little wait my husband and I went in for our couples messages. After we were talked to by the masseuses and left alone to change they came back and started the massage at 5:46. At precisely 6:26 they were done. We paid for an hour massage, not a 40 minute one and I felt very jipped that they started out time when we walked into the room vs when we actually started getting the massages. Not to mention right after the massage was over we were lead into a room with a massage consultant to discuss the membership they offer. I politely declined and said I was not interested and that my husband and I would prefer to come on an as needed basis due to time and money reasons. The consultant wouldn't take no for an answer. She proceeded to point out that there was a LICENSED THERAPIST telling me that I needed to come monthly so therefore I should come monthly. It totally ruined my good feeling from the massage. Upon checking out we were informed that someone else had paid for our massages instead of theirs and we waited about 20 additional minutes for them to figure out how to reverse the payment so we could pay the correct amount. Eventually it was fixed. & that wasn't such a big deal because accidents happen. On the plus side, although shortened, my actual massage was nice and my masseuse was great! Unfortunately I won't be coming back because because of the other reasons listed above. My friend and I went to get a massage on October 9 2018. My daughter purchase me a gift card. My appointment was 2o'clock and we were call back around 2.08, only because I say something. To make a long story short, I complain about them calling us back late, of course they had a excuse. I gave them my gift card, as well as my friend gave them her credit card. Just browsing through my checking account on line I say where they have debit 50.00 out of my account. When I get my money back into my account you don't ever have to worry about me coming back. Dreadful, demeaning, disgusting experience. My Mothers Day gift from my board certified fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon husband was two prenatal massages from Massage Envy. He told them I was pregnant, I told them I was pregnant when I called to make an appt and they confirmed i was pregnant when they called to confirm appt. However, when I went in, they refused service because on their liability release form it says you must verify you have are low risk with no blood sugar, blood pressure...etc problems. I told the intact person I would have to cross out low risk because my OB says I'm not considered since I'm advanced maternal age, I'm 44. She brought back someone who said no they won't do the massage. They required I go to my OB and get him to write and notarize a letter first. And by the way the time that was scheduled for the therapist is coming off the card too. My husband happened to call, he said I was fine for the massage, they said no, so he asked for a refund. The white guy with a mustache who took the call agreed to a refund. Then a very cigarette-smelling red haired woman came out of her office and said "absolutely no refunds, under any circumstances on any gift certificates ever." I said but this is my Mothers Day gift and you can't deliver on the service purchased. She said no, no refunds and no massage. I said lets have the police figure it out because if you pay $120 for something, and the business refuses to honor it, then it is called theft. She told me to get out. I told her to go smoke another cigarette and left. For a place that is advertising health and wellness with smoking management and rude customer service that will raise your blood pressure, Massage Envy is for you. I am a 2 year Massage Envy membership member. I was visiting from out of town and decided to treat myself with a deep tissue message. The front desk clerk recommended a therapist for me- Ms. Deb. I suffer from all types of muscular and nerve symptoms- so I was in a lot of discomfort upon walking in. By the time my reserved hour was up, I felt so relieved and pain free. She is definitely one of the best in the business. My wife gave me a $120 gift card for Massage Envy, and after a stressful morning and week, I was really looking forward to my 90 minute massage. Well it certainly didn't turn out as expected. I had been to this location several times before with mediocre massages, good enough to keep me coming back, but not as good as I've had at more established spas, but this experience was a total disaster. I had to ask the therapist no less than 3 times to lighten up as it felt like she was putting her 200lb force into my muscle with the point of her elbow, and then there were a couple of occasions where her finger nails felt like they were peeling my skin off, and the order of the massage was all over the place. I received a free massage transfer for my birthday from my mother. I had Jacob or Jason (not for sure). The massage was terrible. I felt he discriminated against me big time. I have sensitive skin so I break out easily along my upper back area and sometimes on my legs. At the time of my massage I didn't have any open break outs however I do have scarring. He did not want to touch me. He put the blanket over my entire body and massaged me like that. He also did not massage my full legs, only my calves & feet. He was very much half ass-ing it. After the massage my mother called to explain the incident & get a re-do. The manager declined & told me that I could come in and pay for a new one with someone else. She also basically said that I was lying & that all of their masseuses touch skin and don't discriminate. Terrible experience and terrible management. Would not recommend to anyone. They made me wait and my massage didn't start until 2:15 (I checked the clock before she started). My massage ended promptly at 3pm. However, what kills your high after your massage is the extremely pushy sales tactics afterwards to get you to sign up for a membership. I'm still baffled as to why you can't just go for massages as you please, not everyone has the time and money for a membership. That doesn't stop them from jumping down your throat. After your massage, when you're still in your state of euphoria, they take you into a room and try their best to get you to join. Immediately my euphoric state is gone, and I'm in a bad mood. They are extremely pushy and don't take NO for an answer. I honestly dread coming here for after my massage when I get this pushy sales tactic thrown at me.
