Then asked for a tip when I explained I wasn't going to be paying him for the half hour he tried skimming me. My boyfriend and I showed up in person and made an appointment to be there at 4:00PM a week in advance, got there and they attempted to tell me and my boyfriend to come back at 5:30PM since they were already taking back other clients for a couples massage. There are 2 kinds of massage experiences. 1. The spa treatment. You want to be treated like Beyonce, aromatherapy, fluffy white robes, and a posh atmosphere. 2. Clinical. You're here because you're in pain and you need someone help with that. You want someone to find every knot on your body and do their damndest to work it out. This place is the latter. My boyfriend and I went in for a couples massage. We were both extremely skeptical, everyone has heard the stories about sketchy massage parlours and what "actually" goes down in them. But they had great prices, good reviews, and they were open on a Sunday. My massage was PHENOMENAL. I've had many massages before, and it's usually someone doing the same routine on every person. This woman sought out the knots like a heat seeking missile and destroyed them like one too. She found knots and trouble areas I had no idea about. She is NOT doing the same routine on every person. If you want someone to straight up diagnose and treat your back like a doctor would, go here. I wish I had gotten her name to recommend her specifically. She had glasses. Quick background: I have a local masseuse (Sandy Black, LMT) that I go to about once every two weeks. Recently, I backed off my anti-depressants (doctor supervised) and the withdraws were rough. The doc recommended massage. Yesterday was particularly rough and Sandy couldn't take me as a walk-in (she's usually booked about 2 weeks out) so I was looking for somewhere close by that takes walk ins. Turns out, Oriental Massage was the place to go! Based on the name, and that it's in a strip mall, and that the windows are "blacked out" by giant stickers that depict various massage activities, I had my reservations. But, after checking things out here on Yelp, I decided that 8/10 people couldn't be wrong and that I probably wasn't going to get my weenur whacked. I made the short drive over and headed in. The place is very professional in appearance. There was a man and a woman who greeted me when I walked in. The lobby is quaintly decorated (check out the pics on Google) if not sparse. They asked me how long of a massage I wanted, and this having been stated, took me down the hallway that has 10 (I think) massage rooms, 5 on each side. The lady directed me into the first room and told me to disrobe. The only complaint here was that there wasnt a good place to put my clothes. There's a single table with some towels and a small stool for the masseuse to sit on, but that was it. There were some hooks, but who hangs up socks and boxers? I ended up just putting them in a very nicely folded (my mamma would be proud) pile next to the table. The massage itself was great. My therapist was very good and was regularly asking me if the pressure was ok. The hour seemed to fly by. This was just the thing I needed to help alleviate some of the effects of weaning off of SSRIs (cuz that in itself is a damned nightmare). Once we were down to the last 15 minutes she asked me if I wanted to take more time. I declined like a dummy. She spent the last few minutes massaging my feet and then my scalp. Oh man, I would pay for an hour of just this part. It was the best. Soooooo relaxing. The time being up, she said she would see me at the front desk. I laid there for a few minutes just enjoying the relaxed feeling. Then I got dressed, paid ($60 for the hour) and poured myself into my car, drove home, and spend the rest of the evening on the couch. I wanted to post this review mainly to counter the couple of reviews that are calling this a "shady massage parlor". I definitely had concerns (outlined above) but after visiting, this place is nothing like that. At no point did I get the feeling there was anything sketchy going on whatsoever. Just because someone had a bad foot massage doesn't automatically mean they're giving out handies to every dude who walks in the place (Judgmental much? Racist much?). Give this place a try. I went in because I had a monster of a knot running along the the left side of my back lower back to my shoulder blade. The girl I had couldn't have been much over a hundred pounds and she was strong as an ox..seriously. Blew my mind when I got in the lobby after and saw how tiny she was. She stretched and mobilized my shoulders to get in deep to the problem area inside my shoulder blade. Definitely knew what she was doing, and worked the hell out of it. If it flairs up again before heading home I will undoubtedly be going back and hopefully getting worked the same way. Highly recommend! Wish they were in Seattle and I'd be a regular! read more

This was my second time here. Both times I came for 1 hour foot massage. I occasionally get plantar fasciitis flare up and when that happens s all I want is take my feet off. Both times I came limping and got back with new, relaxed feet. They do Fantastic job. Prices are super reasonable. I don't really leave a ton of reviews, but since I went here based on the business's current 4.5 star review, I felt I should at least try to give the next person a heads up. Long story short the full body massage I got was probably the worst I've ever had. All the masseur did was push down at a few points up and down my back for the entire appointment. She never put any serious pressure into it, even after I asked for her to go deeper. She walked on my back, but that was uncoordinated as well. She missed huge pressure points throughout my body, and barely even attempted to massage my lower back. I left the place feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. So, I thought this place may be like Comfoot in California (military peeps know what I'm talking about); a totally reputable place with cheap recliner massages that focus on foot reflexology but are head-to-toe. Instead... I left with suspicions that it may be one of those Oriental "Massage" places. Wink wink, nudge nudge? First off, they only have 2 recliners for the reflexology and they're literally right by the front door in the lobby. They massage only your feet for the entire hour and they don't even cover your eyes so you can lean back and relax. When we were having our feet rubbed, an older fella came in, saw us, and said he'd just come back later. The atmosphere was weird, being right by the door and having to hear all of the front-desk conversation, and the massage was subpar. I haven't been back, but I've been to Peach Mac a few times since, and the *only* people I ever see coming in or out are middle aged men. Maybe I'm wrong about what type of establishment this is, but if that's the case then they need to work on their presentation because that's EXACTLY the kind of impression they're making on me. Update: Immediately after posting, one of the business's (overly) loyal followers decided to send a hostile message over my review. I went in with a specific muscle issue I wanted to be addressed, but I don't think English translation was a strong point. What I needed was a therapeutic massage focusing on a specific area, but got a general massage. The masseuse did a very good job, very professional and respectful. I would go again for a garden variety massage. As for privacy and respect, I was shown a room where I laid face down. I asked her to spend more time on my neck and shoulder, and she did a phenomenal job getting rid of all the kinks! my experience was HORRIBLE! To begin the receptionist or non of the workers could barely speak any English so they were not able to explain the process or answer any questions. My husband and I went for a couples massage. me and my husband were placed in the same room and we were told to remove all of our clothing so we did and laid on the table. But when they re entered the room we were also asked to remove our underwear. Without giving any time to reply the lady was almost ripping my husbands underwear off and I told them that I was not comfortable with doing so, but she kept persisting against my will but later just left me alone. next part was the massage, we were asked if we wanted hard, medium, or soft pressure and we both agreed to medium thinking that it wouldn't be so invasive. But boy were we wrong it was painful, extremely painful. the massage hurt so bad that we had to tell them to go to soft which was almost not even better. All during the massage they were talking in their native tongue, and bumping things, making noise, and going in and out which made the atmosphere non relaxing. So 30 minutes into the massage even though I had told the lady that I wasn't going to take my underwear off I felt her snatch mine off and by then I was annoyed and uncomfortable. So while the hour was winding down one of the ladies tried to get us to buy 30 more minutes but with her not being able to really speak English you couldn't understand what was being said and we almost got tricked into buying more, until I made her fully explain. The bad part was over until we left later and its been almost 2 days from when we got the massage and our muscles are extremely sore from the massage. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My husband and I decided to get a last minute massage. We had seen this place but weren't sure if it was legit or something sketchy, we called and asked if they have any openings for a couple massage and they said yes. So off we went. Upon arriving there was no one else in the building and we were swept off into a room with 2 beds. We were instructed to get on the table. We undressed and laid down with a small bath towel covering us, it was too late to turn back now but I was very uncomfortable. The women came in and said hard or soft to my husband but never asked me. They started the massage. It was extremely painful, nothing like I had ever experienced before. Many times I was exposed and each time I reached and covered myself up. They left the room for hot rocks. They massaged our backs with the hot rocks that were boiling hot. The massage was done and we got up, dressed and scurried out in pain. On the way out we noticed a shower table that I did not see on the way in. I did not know but apparently this is where hand jobs go down...i realized this after research at home. We paid in anger because we were scared not to and ran out. I noticed burn marks on my back once I got home and am furious. I feel like it was stupid to go to a place like this but I never figured a place like this would operate on a main road in Evans ga.
