I want to start off by saying this is my first time going sky nails and my last i went in and got my toes done a full set plus my daughter got her toes done. Well I got chrome which was not informed it would be like 40 extra dollars for my feet and nails as I got in my car i noticed my nails are not a shaped at all some are shorter than others and when i got home my chrome is gone off my toenails, this is the worse experience i have ever had at nail salon, I told my daughter to go pay and it came up to 220.00 the guy told me oh I sorry I didn't tell you but chrome nails cost more, I am so upset and will never go back. read more

I'd hoped I would be leaving a good review but after being a customer at this salon along with other nearby salons for the past 8 years. I wanted not only a pedicure but also a manicure something I haven't had since my wedding in 2013. I was told a manicure would only be $20 along with my $45 Deluxe pedicure. The nude OPI color that the new employee and I agreed would be perfect for a funeral happened to be problematic. It would not dry quickly as my own OPI nail polishes do. When the new nail tech tried to assist me with putting my sandal back on. The nail polish smeared on my right big toe. A few of my fingernails had messed up trying to get my card for payment. The nail tech was sweet but flustered when I showed her and she repainted them. I sat there what seemed like forever waiting for them to dry. When I felt I had sat there long enough I left. The polish on my thumb nail smeared when I was attempting to put my seat belt on. I went back in and asked to purchase the polish so I could correct it at home myself. Later that evening I noticed all of the polish she used left bubbles and indentions and continued to feel tacky many, many hours later. So instead of using the polish again I called man that works there and he assured me that I could come in the morning and they would redo them with gel polish, he told me that those milky nude colors are thick and they've had issues with them drying. I was feeling good about this and arrived around 10:00 to find out they wanted to charge me an extra $40 to repaint them with gel polish. I declined and asked them to just take this off and use one of my polishes. The older owner came over and was being rude and said it would be $20 for color change. I said no thanks. I wasn't spending another dime at this point. She went on to raise her voice and tell me "you were here for 2 hour yesterday" , why, yes I was, I surely didn't want to be. She also said in a rude tone "we know you, we know you"over and over. "We take care of you". Well, I know them too. They try to rush you in and out with results that are less than stellar and push gel polish when I have always used regular nail polish with no issues. They did refund me the $8 and take back their nail polish and I left with unpainted nails and a subpar manicure. There are many other nice establishments in the area that I will continue to give my business to. read more

when they pass out there envelopes everything is wrong the dates to the times when their open Like Sunday , they are not open on Sunday at all . But on the envelop is say Sunday 12:00pm - 6:00pm . And they close at 7 pm but on the envelop it says weekdays which is Monday through Saturday the close at 8:00pm read more

I came to Georgia to see my sister and although I got my nails done before flying, I neglected my poor feet. I asked my sister where I should go and she said I had to come here. Upon walking in, the personnel were incredibly friendly and attended to me right away. The shop is beautiful and clean and did not smell overwhelmingly like most shops do. I had Emily give me the pedi which was great, relaxing and not rough like some other technicians have done in the past. The customer service here is absolutely horrible, and some of the employees are very rude and manipulative. My husband took my 10 year old daughter to get a mani/pedi as a reward. He told me later that day that the people there were rude, but I just assumed he was being sensitive. After 3 days, all of my daughter's gel nails had fallen off and she was heartbroken. I had taken her to this salon several times before, and that had never happened. I knew something had gone wrong, and after spending all that money, I felt they should fix the mistake. When I returned to the salon, they said they would fix them. However, the employee that was asked to do my daughter's nails accused my daughter of biting her nails. She then started trying to convince my daughter to get something different, because she did not want to take the time to make them as intricate as they were before. I walked over there and started defending my child, and explained the story to this woman. She then snapped at me, cut me off and said "I've heard your story 3 times, I know what happened." I simply told her that we wanted it exactly like it was before and that something must have gone wrong because they should not have fallen off. I also said I was not going to leave my daughter there alone, because I wanted to make sure it was done right. At that point, she refused to do my daughter's nails. Another employee said she would fix them. She was very nice. The rude employee proceeded to go over to another customer and start talking about me saying I was a horrible mother and I was setting a bad example for my daughter. She did this 6 feet away from me, and continued to do so the entire time we were in the salon. I never said another word to this rude employee. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. My daughter later told me that the rude woman was the employee that did her nails the first time and messed them up. We will never return to this salon again, and I highly recommend you find another salon. **Update with Plot Twist: The "rude employee" turned out to be the OWNER of the salon. This is an even better reason to NEVER go there, if anyone was still considering it. The actual skill is wonderful and my nails always come out great. I don't go as often anymore because of the wait times. I've been in several times the past few times I have went and when I ask if there is a wait I'm told no but then I have to wait 20-30 minutes and my water gets cold. My favorite nail salon in town! The staff is always friendly! I'm always pleased with my nails! They recently remodeled and everything is new, clean and updated! I've been coming here for years with no issues and have always had a great experience. I asked for a polish change and they used gel without even asking. They know me and know I've never had gel on my toes. I do realize I should've been paying more attention while they were doing it but at the same time I feel like that's deceitful to not even ask if that's what I wanted. I took two girls in for a basic manicure and I wanted gel. The woman said I should get gel for the girls too. I declined. She insisted. I declined. She said the regular manicure would only last two days. I asked how much for the girls. She said $20 for the girls, $30 for me. Again, I declined. We were all seated and then after the nails were filed and trimmed the nail techs bring out the gel lights for all of us. I decided not to make a fuss. After all three gel nail manicures were complete I went to pay and she tells me it's $30 each! First of all I only wanted a basic manicure for two eleven year olds, then you tell me it's $20 and then at check out its $30? Then I fussed. She dropped the price to $25 and I wanted to fuss more but didn't want to ruin the day of two little girls who hadn't seen each other in two years. I will never return. Huge scammers. read more

I have been going to Sky Nails for at least 6 months, however my last 2 visits have been very unpleasant. My daughters have been regular patrons as well. The service now seems rushed, just to get on to the next customer. My most recent encounter took the cake...I asked to have an overly soaked off, and walked out with torn up nail beds and cuticles along with a very poorly done polish job. I went back 2 days later because I could not just let it go. I just wanted them to fix the poor polish job...Not only did they want me to pay again, but ANNA who was very rude when I initially went in began yelling at me saying she did what I asked...The owner said he has to believe his employee all while acknowledging that he was aware that I was a regular. I advised that paying has never been the issue, I woild just like the polish job to be done better. Well he wanted me to pay again, which was absurd. Anyway, they will never get my business again. I will be going back to the nice couple at Happy Nails who still remembered my name!...If you decide to go please avoid ANNA if you value your money. read more

Overall to the rest of my family they were very nice. The lady who did my nails was very angry because she had to get called in on her off day. She was very angry so she was a little aggressive and rude. The topcoat of my nails got messed up and she proceeded to blame it on me and get angry. The lady who did my nails cut them sideways and now they will groW in weird. Also for the pedicure the paper says $45 but we were charged 50. I write this review as I sit in the broken pedicure chair, with a shitty manicure. I got a French manicure with gel polish and there are white spots all through the part that should be clear. When I asked the lady to look at it and fix it she goes on to tell me a story about how I work with my hands which makes my index fingers look uneven, which was irrelevant to what I was asking her to fix. My sister was also sitting next to me and she told them she wanted coffin shaped nails and asked what the price was for a full set with the shape and was told $25.. after she approved of the price and they started doing her nails the nail lady that was doing my nails and the man that was doing hers started talking to each other and then the lady tells my sister her nails will be $35.. my sister told her that she was told $25 and the lady goes on to say it's because of the shape and length, which is understandable but she should have been informed before her nails were started... after a bit of back and forth between my sister and I the lady decided that she is going to give her a sweeeeeeet $5 discount. Great, but that's still $5 more than she planned on spending. Anyways, I'm about finished with my broken chair, cold water pedicure so I'll let y'all decide for your selves if you'd like to visit here or not. Good luck. P.S. - before I paid I asked her to fix it and get the white spots off and she went on to tell me that it was my nails that have the white on them. Don't expect to get in if you make an appointment Two days ago, I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get mani/pedis today at 10. We arrived and I told the gal who asked that we had appointments at 10 for mani/pedis. She told us to pick out our colors, which we did. After doing so, we went to the front of the store. As we waited a walk-in asked for a mani and was told to come back in 30 minutes they were full. She leaves, another woman walks in and a man who works there told her to have a seat in one of the chairs. He looked at me and I told him we had appointments at 10, it was now 5 after. He told us it would be 30 minutes, just as the gal had told the walk-in it would be 30 minutes. I asked him what happened to our 10 o'clock appointment. He looked around and said they were really busy. I know the salon staff messed up somehow because they didn't honor an appointment made two days ago. They took walk-ins at the same time they had an appointment waiting and didn't have any room left for the appointment. While I understand things happen, there was no apology or ownership of the mistake at all. I will not waste my time going here again. I could've stayed at work or gotten other things done, but instead my time was wasted. They should honor the appointments they agree upon. read more

This salon relocated to Washington Road and I don't think anyone has reviewed it here since. The salon has SEVERAL pedicure stations. I've been twice now, once when they first relocated and offered 10% off and once today. When I first visited, it was evening and there was a young child riding a bike around the salon. I assume he was one of the employee's child. Today, several other customers brought in children and they screamed, the TV was loud, and employees who didn't have a customer were sitting in other pedicure stations while playing on their phones or eating. One employee was watching some kind of video on her phone (across the salon from me) and I could hear the audio (over the TVs). The man doing my pedicure was a dream and did fabulous work. I feel as if he should relocate to a more professional salon in order to be valued as he deserves to be. HE is the only reason I give this salon two stars. My normal salon (right down the road) is appointment based and I couldn't get in before Easter, so I came to this salon again. I don't regret the decision because I received excellent service, but I will be more careful to book my appointment at my other salon so that I can actually relax while treating myself. read more

I have been going here regularly to get pedicures/fills and eyebrow waxing for about 3 maybe 4 months. Staff is nice and usually get you in without a huge wait. I would say the acrylic nails are great and I get compliments regularly but they can't seem to be consistent with the pricing . Which is so damn frustrating . One week I pay five dollars more for gel polish and the next I am paying 15 , be sure to ask upfront what you are paying . The pedicures are good not great but definitely good when you get the upgraded packages and ask for warmer water . The Only bad thing is the chairs you sit in are getting extremely worn and they are so LOUD it becomes difficult to relax even when you keep your vibration/massage off you hear your neighbors chair , it's awful . I usually bring headphones and just put on some music to help cancel that out and relax . On a positive note my eye brows look great & I never have been disappointed with that ! read more
