I WISH I read the reviews before coming here! What a waste of money. I was in and out in 20 mins!! For a spa pedicure!! I've never gotten a regular pedicure and from start to finish was done under 30 mins. Also WTH did I even pay for! Nothing special was done. In fact, any other place offers more for FREE than what I got with the OPI spa pedicure. The guy barely scrubbed my heels, he threw the hot towel in the tub then took it out and rubbed my legs and feet with it. Also, he pulled a towel out of his back pocket to dry my feet. I didn't see any sterile products being used. He didn't do a base coat or a top coat!! Just three layers of the color. It's so sloppily done. The polish is collecting in the cracks. Nail Spa has been unsanitary and unprofessional lately. My last visit was extremely disappointing. I visited recently, and my nail technician was Tom. He doesn't know how to do a full set, and he paints your nails like a two year old. He screwed up my nails, and they looked like chiclits. I didn't have an additional two hours to let them do everything over again the same day, and I was told by Tina that I could come in the following day to get things taken care of properly. Fast forward, and she tries to charge me twice for having my nails and toes repainted as if she forgot why I was there in the first place. This is not a good place, and I will not be returning. Nail spa was recommended to me by a coworker a few months ago. My first visit didn't go as planned since the place was packed to the brim. I didn't want the tech to rush through my service so I opted to just get a gel pedicure. I was charged extra for them to take off the previous gel polish, which I thought was ridiculous. By the time I got home, the polish that was applied started to peel. At today's visit, I wanted the full service of SNS dip and gel pedicure. The salon wasn't busy so I figured the service would be much better. Unfortunately, I was still charged for taking off gel polish and replacing it with gel polish for my pedicure. The tech who was to do my SNS dip wanted to start while I was still in the pedicure chair. I asked her to wait until I was able to sit in the regular chair so no errors were made. My nails were bumpy by the time she was done. All in all I can say I will not return. Fool me once. read more

My daughter-in-law suggested this nail spa to me, I haven't been into a nail salon for years my service today was top-notch. Everyone was friendly. My technician Tracy is the young lady. My daughter-in-law referred me to. After taking me to Tracy station their receptionist asked me if I would like something to drink she offer Soda or water. Now I thought it was pricey, but yet she guarantees her work up to three weeks for free repairs. Most places wanna charge you for repairs after a week. I will be definitely coming back and telling my family and friends.. The inside was beautiful. The atmosphere was friendly, it was cleaned and well organized. Finally, I really love my nails. My husband & I went for pedis at this location on a whim & we couldn't have been more satisfied. Our nail techs were Nina & bau (may be spelled incorrectly ). Service was incredibly prompt & professional. You check in at these little kiosks at the front, but are immediately greeted by employees. They had every color imaginable. Bau was so gentle & meticulous with the removal of my gel polish. The price was moderate, but you get what you pay for. One of the best pedis I've ever had. I went in to get just a regular manicure and pedicure. I had 2 gentlemen working on my hands and feet at he same time. The man doing my manicure kept asking me if I was getting a full set with gel. I had to keep saying I wanted just the polish. He rushed the job completely. He only gave me warm water to soak one hand and made my cuticle bleed. He painted my nails so fast that it turned out blotchy not completely covered. He seemed more interested in checking his phone than the service. The man doing my toenails had a hard time understanding me and when I asked him to cut my toenails shorter he gave me a look like I was asking too much. When he finished my nails he immediately rushed me over to the fans at the front of the salon. The front desk lady did not seem phased when she asked me how it went and I was honest. I question the cleanliness of nail salons and was happy to land this one. I wanted to get a pedicure and my mom a manicure. We found this place after we had lunch at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I read the reviews and thought it was fair so I thought we'd give it a whirl. Walked in and was greeted by the host. They were not busy so we were able to get in right away. There were three types of pedicures starting at 25.00. I got the OPI treatment (no gel or shellac) for an extra 5.00. My mom got the basic manicure for 20.00. I can tell the foot spa is clean. They put a plastic over it and when they are done with each customer, they remove and replace it with another. The gentleman (Tony) that did my pedicure was super friendly, patient and accommodating. He mentioned gel but I didn't want the upgrade. He wasn't pushy either. Tony took care of me and did a very good job (very detailed). I was very happy with my service and so was my mom with her nail technician. My mom mentioned that when she comes back that she would ask for the person that helped me because she was impressed by his work. I'm an Augusta native of many years and I am kinda shameful to say that I have never visited this place before now (Memorial Day). I decided to come here because this place was the only available nail salon available on the holiday. I first inquired about their business/holiday hours over the phone and to my amazement, the receptionist was very and extremely polite on the phone (talk about exquisite phone etiquette!) so I immediately made started on my way. When I walked in, I immediately felt relaxed. The establishment is well lit, decor modernized, clean and even had fresh aromas! There was a small bit of a wait after telling the receptionist what services I desired. I waited about 30 mins but once Ms. Tina started on my services the wait was very well worthy! Tina was very nice, polite and understood what I wanted (SNS set). The colors were plentiful to choose from but I had lots of time to decide before she started. Tina did 4 coatings on my nails. My first experience at Nail Spa was not great, but let me tell you how they turned a 1 star review into a 5+ star review! I asked the nail tech for SNS ombré French tips and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She said ok! While my nails were soaking, she was practicing the ombré look I had asked for (should have been a red flag). Fast forward, two hours and three bleeding cuticles later, my nails looked horrible. Uneven edges, unclean (and bleeding) cuticles, uneven ombré. It was just bad. I even told her 3 times during the process that I didn't like it but she just kept going. When I went to pay, I spoke to Angie, the receptionist, and told her how unhappy I was. She saw my nails and agreed they did not look good. Instead of making excuses or making me feel bad (like most salons would do), she asked if I would be willing to come back and have them redone. Absolutely! Today, I went it to see Kelly to have my nails redone. Kelly was phenomenal! She didn't just take off the original set and redo them, no. She soaked off the set, gave me a manicure to heal my sore cuticles, and THEN she blew me away! She did three demos of three different nude shades on my fingers to see which shade I liked best. And not just a swatch of nude. She did the whole SNS process on 3 nails so I could see exactly how it was going to look. Once we agreed on the shade, she took off the other two and redid the whole set. She thanked me for being patient while she showed me the options but I was thanking HER for taking the time to actually show me real life visuals instead of just redoing the same thing I had before. I was blown away with the whole process! I won't share the name of the original technician because I'm sure she was just having an off day and I'm sure she normally does good work. But I cannot say enough good things about Kelly, Angie and the owners of Nail Spa. They never once made an excuse or made me feel bad for not liking my service. They made sure I was 100% happy and were so gracious that I gave them a second chance. I will continue to go to Nail Spa as long as Kelly is there :) A few other highlights from the salon that I would give great reviews....great color selections, great pedicure chairs, very clean and bright and receptionist, Angie, is the smiling face every business needs! Was told I could only get one solid color and that's it. So I just asked to remove the gel polish I had and get a clear coat of regular polish. The gel polish is still on half my fingers, it the clear polish was sloppy and not smooth, and my nails weren't filed fully leaving rigid and jagged edges. Oh by the waycthis is after a hour wait because they let not one, not two, but THREE people go before me that got in AFTER me. Then after puttibg me at a table had me sit there for abother 15 mins while they brought back and started on another TWO people. So they did half the job then charged 20 for it. Two stars for many reasons. I have given this salon 4 visits and 4 chances to show me better. I had an appointment and they still took me after several Walk in customers and i waited for 3 hours for them to finish me. They put in a pedicure chair and took ladies who just walked in and asked if they had time for a pedicure. I was forgotten about along with another lady. To make matters worse the chair I was put in did not even have a clear view of the television, and the water was cold. Keep in mind we are in Augusta, Georgia where of the five types of nails (acrylic nails, gel nails, porcelain nails and silk or fiber wraps) you are only offered two, acrylic and gel. So far this salon does gel nails the best of the 10 places I have tried. Parking is a pain here so try not to going on the weekends. The salon is nice. It gets very full very fast and they are pretty slow. I say a Three star on gel nails, however... Pedicures are offered. I get pedicures not just to make my feet look better, but to relax and relive stress. The chairs for pedicures are not the best. They also do not remove the dry skin from your feet . I even purchased the top of the line Deluxe spa pedicure and it was not all it should have been. They also did not listen to how I wanted them painted. I have paid for 4 substandard pedicures at this location. I do not think I will give them another chance on pedicures. I give them a 2 star on pedicures. Waxing is offered here as well. They are not very gentle with the wax, and they spilled wax on me. That is a one star on waxing. If you want gel nails go here, but I do not recommend the pedicures or the waxing. read more

They are money hungry and give different customers different prices ( witnessing these bad vibes is what had affected my mental ). When questioned about pricing, they always got away with it because of the language barrier, the customer usually gives up. They sell fake channel earrings and wear fake designer. They talk negatively and laugh about all the customers even the loyal ones. NOTHING IS DISINFECTED I PROMISE. I have frequented Nail Spa for years. I went in today to get a pedicure and my god daughter wanted a full set, but she was not satisfied with her nails and cried. She wanted the color changed and the acrylic nails to be thicker(they were thin and could be bent). I asked if it could be corrected, and even offered to pay for it to be corrected, but the owner Tina refused and said they looked fine. I let Tina know that as a paying customer, if I don't like something and want it fixed, that's exactly what should happen. I've come here multiple times and haven't had a bad experience yet. Today I felt like service was exceptionally well. Business was steady, especially since it's a Saturday, yet I didn't have to wait long at all. By the time I picked my polish they were ready for me to sit for my pedicure. I was offered a drink, and by the time I got comfortable and soaked for a little while, the girl was there to get started. Not sure why this place has bad reviews. The inside was very modern and clean. I did gel nails with long and they turned out good. He was very friendly. My friend did SNS and they turned out good. $45 for SNS (light pink) and $35 for gel (purple). They had a manager looking guy that walked the floor checking on everything constantly. I tell her I want to soak off the set I have- she then starts pulling the nails off instead of soaking. I let her continue until she starts trying to rip off ones that are a little more glued. Taking my hand back, I tell her I want to soak them again. I get them soaked off, she continues on with the manicure. Kept filing them so hard that she burned three of my fingers, didn't pull the skin down after gluing the new nails so I'm currently trying to unstick my skin from the superglued nails. If I could give this place a -10 I would. Walked in, receptionist did not respond to my greeting and walked away as I was talking. Shortly after, she came back to ask what I wanted. I was seated and a lady came out to change the polish. As I am looking at the color selections, she rudely asked 3 times what color I was getting. I was rushed to choose after which she began filing my nails AND MY SKIN. She aggressively brushed my nails, slapped my feet repeatedly with her hands, and scraped my skin with the brush. When polishing my nails she held my toes so hard that her nails were cutting into my skin. She got polish on my skin that dried and proceed to scrape at the polish WITH HER SHARP NAILS. After this terrible service, she quickly handed me a bill despite the fact that I had another service to be completed. Curiously, I questioned why the bill was $30 for a polish change (thinking maybe there was a misunderstanding). Based on her response, it was apparent that there was a language barrier. When I asked to speak with someone who spoke better English she said something in her native language to a neighboring tech and they both laughed. Fed up, I got up, paid my bill, and left. I've been here a few times to get my eyebrows waxed and I've never had a problem before. Today, the wax was too hot and burnt skin off of both of my eyebrows. When the technician noticed the left side was really red she asked me if it was too hot and I told her yes. She then proceeded to do the other eyebrow and I felt the same pain. When she put the aloe on, I felt a different pain that I wasn't used to. After I left, my eyebrows still felt like they were burning and after I looked in the mirror I noticed that a layer of skin had been burnt off on both sides. I went back to the salon to ask for a refund and instead the owner made me go back to the wax room and the same technician put aloe on my brows. She then told me my skin was sensitive instead of accepting responsibility for not turning the wax down properly. As I was walking out, I wasn't even acknowledged by the owner again to check to see if I was OK or offered to give me the money back.
