Fries, small size.

Quaint little diner on the square serving delicious food with amazing service. I'm so glad we decided to stop. We walked in and chose a table. Our server greeted us and took drink orders. We had two more people who were parking, and she returned to greet them and get their drink orders as they walked in. Food - delicious. We got a few different things. Chose smash burger style. Shared some fries. It was all hot and tasty. I can't wait to return. It's nice to find a place with a great burger that isn't the usual chain.

Not my kind of fries. Kinda hard and dry, even after they kindly made a second fresh order for us.

Service is great. Burgers are great and juicy, so is the patty melt. Coffee is decent. Fries suck. Ambiance reminds you of the old time diners.

First time we visited and it will not be the last. The smash burger patties were perfection as is the regular patty. Burgers are outstanding!!! The French fries are also out of this world! Finely sliced fries perfectly cooked and delicious. My daughter had a chocolate shake. She said it was amazing. Perfect for using with a straw and not so thick it's impossible to drink. Service was excellent! Outstanding burgers for sure!!!

It was an idyllic Christmas scene from a Hallmark movie last night as we enjoyed the ambiance of the diner with the view of Georgetown Square holiday lights out the window. Absolutely love the ambiance of the restaurant as it's been transformed into an old timey diner. The food is always delicious. Comfort food that will just make you feel good! I loved the Gold Bird chicken sandwich - crispy, golden chicken with just the right amount of buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Don't forget about chili cheese fries for the table. So perfect on a Friday night after a long week. Gold Burger is doing a lot of things right!

The atmosphere was unique and fun because it mimicked an old American diner with real antiques like a record player and a Dr Pepper machine. However, the food was pretty bland. It didn't have enough salt or flavor. The way it was cooked was great and done well though and the service was friendly.

Great little cafe with that old schools diner feel. We had the smash burger with fries and a hot dog. Chased it down with a couple of cold mimosas. They have a pretty good beer selection and cocktails too! Service is a bit slow so come patient, but give this place a shot

We went in to Gold Burger Diner for a family dinner. It's adorable inside. We were seated right away. The server was very nice and helpful. They have a kids menu, it's not on the hard copy menu, but we were verbally told their options. Our server told us his favorite thing in the menu was the Ruben smash burger on rhy. My husband ordered that. It was by far the very very best thing we got !! SOoOo good... We ordered a large fry for the table, they were awesome, perfectly crispy. My fried chicken sandwich had basil aioli. It was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The kids got chocolate milk shakes. They thought that was mind blowing that they had dessert and dinner at the same time... when in Rome... haha. Lastly ordered the apple pie for dessert. It is from a diner on the square. That was a 10 out of 10 as well. We really enjoyed our time and Gold Burger Diner. I am so glad we finally made it here! Things to mention, they have breakfast all day and a nice/large drink menu.

We had big hopes for this place but were sadly let down. Needless to say, we will not be returning here anytime soon. I understand how a busy diner might have some downfalls but this was not an experience I would wish to have again. We put our names on the waitlist and waited twenty minutes. We went nextdoor and got a coffee while we waited. Then we got a notification our table was ready, we went next door and were seated at a filthy table immediately. Our host realized and came ba k with a towel to clean it. The food was delivered in a timely manner but was only okay. I had to ask for sauces to make the burger taste better than it was. The fries are $3 and they are not that great, I had to dip them in ketchup! Everyone at our table was not wowed by the food and service.

No fuss little diner in the Georgetown square. It stayed consistently busy, but it was about a 15 minute wait for a 3 top table for us. Your usual diner fare, where we order the gold standard burger and patty melt. Generous portions and delicious food. Didn't get a chance to try the cocktails or dessert, but the options looked good.

Diner decor! Sat at the bar, greeted right away. There is a full bar! But I ordered sweet tea, and yall... it is saweeeeeet!! Real sweet, so I added some unsweetened tea. Anywho, the service was super friendly and fast! I got the original burger, double with cheese! It was delicious! the fries are good, nothing special. But they burger is the star!!! I look forward to coming again and again, trying all the menu things!

An eclectic selection of 60s-80s, easy listening #music mixed with rock #classics greet the ears, but not so insanely loud that conversations have to be elevated to be heard. Servers were friendly & personable; Carrie 'Flo' & Aidan we're attentive & welcomed every customer with a smile ;) Blueberry Buttermilk pancake + one egg over easy + a hearty cup of coffee, under $12... just what the #doctor ordered to start my Thursday in #Georgetown. #GoldBurgerDiner is located on the East perimeter of the Georgetown Square, a few doors West of the Georgetown Visitor Center. Street parking spaces line the street & seem to fill with shoppers around 9-930a. * Cody, Brady, Troy &... partnered to enhance #Gtown's retail #footprint via Gold Burger Diner, Mesquite Creek, Outfitters, Golden Rule, & CampRightSide. I totally recommend this place for a comfy space to enjoy a good meal, alone or with friends.

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

The environment inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming. There was a stand outside Georgie's restaurant taking drink orders to go. Other than downtown Austin, I was not aware where you could drink adult beverages outside a restaurant or bar. We ordered a crab cake, Georgie's margarita and a frozen margarita. We started with the George Margarita and the specialty spritzer with gin, both were tasty and not too sweet. In addition to the ceviche, oysters and crab claws. No oyster options, they had Texas east coast farmed which were ok, not too large or small with a sweetness. The ceviche was missing something so I added salt and that did the trick but the accompanying chips were . They had no flavor and a stale consistency ‍ maybe that was the intent. The crab claws were a little fishy and had way too much broth but overall weren't bad, maybe 3/5. For entrees I decided to go smash burger and fried shrimp/oyster basket. Smash burger was well prepared, I swapped fries with broccolini. The fried seafood was a miss. The batter was similar to an unseasoned tempura and the hush puppies were very doughy, that dish is a pass. I'd return but will stick with appetizers or the burger but if I'm craving seafood there definitely are better options even if that means going outside of Georgetown.
