Pint house Electric Jellyfish IPA & crispy Brussels! Amazing citrus flavor.

Came for a birthday get together. Booked a reservation, on arrival I was greeted by the hostess who gave us an option of tables. We had cocktails that were amazing! Love the cinnamon smoked tequila old fashioned! The presentation is amazing! Cinnamon stick burning in the ashtray, cocktail was wonderful! We ordered tapas, sirloin bites, Brussels sprouts & tacos. The portions are generous! They even offered a free birthday desert! This place is amazing, it was my third time & our friends first time. They loved it! The interior is elegant & relaxing! Staff is very friendly & attentive, their bartenders have a lot of flare! Highly recommended!

Beautiful bar, good food and nice ambiance. It is a tapas bar so food portions are smaller but drinks were generously poured. The staff were good, attentive, explained everything well. And food was good too. Overall good experience

My husband and I stopped in to Juniper for the first time recently. Best choice! We sat at the bar. The staff were very attentive. We ordered two drinks. My husband was blown away with the large selection of whiskey. We ordered fillet off the Tapas menu, it was delicious. We also ordered the espresso pork belly Tapa. It came on top of fried polenta. My husband actually said I think we have found, (our place) on the Square for date night ! Juniper has a great vibe. I can't wait for our next chance to go back and try more from the menu.

Service was phenomenal from start to finish. The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Most importantly, the food was superb. Here's how I'd rank the dishes we tried: 1. Chargrilled Angus Tenderloin - 5/5 Wow. The tenderness and flavor were absolutely on point. Cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully, easily the standout of the night. 2. Queso Con Carne - 5/5 The chips were fresh and crisp, and the queso paired with the meat was rich and flavorful. An addictive combination that we couldn't stop dipping into. 3. Patatas Bravas - 4/5 The sauce was amazing with a nice spicy kick, which I loved. Great flavor balance and a solid dish overall. 4. Red Fish Tacos - 3/5 My daughter really loved these, but for me, there was a strong fishy aftertaste that lingered a bit too much. 5. Espresso Pork Belly - 3/5 The tenderness was excellent, but the burnt coffee aftertaste didn't quite work for me. If they adjusted it to have more of a "millionaire's bacon" flavor profile while keeping that same tenderness, this dish would definitely be a hit. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back! Lots of parking available in the back of the building

We stopped in here for dessert and drinks on a Friday night. We did have to wait a short time for a table but that's expected on a Friday night without a reservation (Reservations are definitely recommended). While their craft cocktail menu was pretty short, they were accommodating in making a custom drink not on the menu, and the waiter, who also doubled as our bartender, was really knowledgeable about the alcohols they had to choose from. The bread pudding was a bit burned on top, but we liked that the sauce and Icecream were on the side to make it as you liked.

I'll start with, there are some interesting reviews on here. Reading is fundamental, it's a tapas restaurant-of course the portions are small. And what year do we think we're in, cocktails averaged $14, which is pretty cheap these days. Let's try writing reviews with substance, that make sense. Off my soap box. I went to Juniper for what I thought would be Friday HH but learned that it's only Monday through Thursday I'll keep my thoughts on who doesn't do Friday HH to myself and just say maybe they will fix this at some point. We had the margarita with tequila and mezcal, lemon drop, beef tenderloin, pork belly, fish tacos and Brussels. All drinks and dishes were great. The Brussels had a lemon or lime zing, which made them stand out and the fish tacos were just right. The pork belly was flavorful and sat on top of fried polenta. The service overall was great, in that they were very attentive. Outside of the actual waiter who couldn't read the room and constantly kept interrupting our conversation. It was quite excessive and absolutely annoying but that's something a little training can fix. I don't know if training can fix a server who takes it upon themselves to keep my change without my consent. If a customer gives you cash, you can ask would you like change but you should never assume that it's yours to keep - kind of a basic skill but I digress. Honestly, I almost gave 3 stars due to the waiter but decided that I wouldn't let his serving skills taint my review. All in all, super cute addition to GT, with tasty bites, good drinks and fair pricing. I'll definitely be back. Hopefully, I'll have a different server ‍

Great new spot! I was impressed with every single item we got!! I will say, I was initially disappointed to find it was only the brunch menu served on sundays, BUT our food couldn't have been any better! Dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was perfect. Will be coming back!

Cheers to the birthday girl! Pineapple Express, traditional margarita, and lemon drop

The food and vibes were great! The food is tapas style (small plate, shareable appetizers. It's a great social spot if you're wanting to together and chat with your group. The music was not overly loud and you could carry genuine conversations at your table, Sarah was our waitress and her service was excellent. We will be back to try brunch!

We enjoyed the food. The table and kitchen service was very good. However, the bar service was far too slow for a cocktail bar. Our food arrived well before drinks. Improve this aspect and you'll have a winning combination. Details: The steak and fries, carpaccio pan Asado, mango shrimp and salted chocolate desert were all very good. Brussels had too much vinegar for our taste. Ambiance is upscale and it's a great place for a date night. We will return. Recommended.

Attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made thoughtful wine pairing suggestions. Food arrived hot and on time, with no unnecessary waiting. Great place for specialty drinks!

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.

With my girlfriend coming into town, I knew it was the perfect chance. We booked a reservation ahead of time using OpenTable, and even though we showed up late, the owners Lawrence and Rachel were immediately friendly and accommodating to us. Located at the Affordable Storage shopping center just north of Hutto, Grapes & Rye is so comfortable inside that you don't even think about it being a converted storage unit. There's plenty of seating for parties of different sizes and chairs that are welcoming and comfortable for long visits. Their menu is impressively expansive with a seasonal fall menu and a regular menu packed with specialty cocktails, classics, and all the liquor needed to make anything you can think of. We were served water immediately once we sat down, which felt very inviting and made me feel welcomed in their space. On their big TV was the Wizards playing the Cavs, and there was the pinnacle of New Jack Swing and R&B playing inside. It was already a fantastic vibe. While we were debating our drinks, Lawrence came by, asked us what we liked, and made picks for us that we trusted. For me, he suggested an Aviation made with gin and maraschino liqueur that was practically glowing when placed in front of me. After my first sip, I patted myself on the back for a drink I didn't even choose. He nailed my preferences perfectly, and on top of that, the drink was one of the most refreshing and well-balanced cocktails I have ever had. As for my girlfriend, she was suggested a Vierre Caureux that she really seemed to enjoy. Our tastes in drinks are pretty different, but we both were very satisfied with Lawrence's suggestions. This led to us asking them about their origins and learning that Grapes & Rye is a passion project of theirs built on their love of bartending and cocktails. They do such a good job that it's hard not to imagine them doing it full time. We hung out for quite a while savoring our beverages before ordering another round. I ordered their Negroni that was easily one of the best Negronis I have ever had. It's so vividly impressive that I immediately want them catering all future events I go to, and I want to see them cater my wedding in like three years time. It's that good. My girlfriend got a Pink Lychee Spritz which she kept saying to me "that's really good" over and over again, showing that it wasn't just me who was impressed by their cocktail mastery. Next time she's in town, I know we'll be back because the drinks here are truly on a different plane of existence. Grapes & Rye has surpassed cocktail hour and become a cocktail experience, making beverages that are next level. They deserve all the success in the world, and it couldn't happen to a better duo. It reminded me of how they do this in cooking shows to save time and you can see at a glance all what goes into making a particular cocktail. The class was informative but also really fun. It was very special to have such an engaging experience. I felt among friends at their home. I felt their passion to make tasty imaginative drinks for others to enjoy. As well as teaching anyone interested in learning. A great thing to do for a date or with friends. It's a bit tucked away in an industrial area and their signage is discreet. Suite #28 on the end. So if you're having a shindig, they're the ones to call to bring the cocktails and skill. I'm so happy to had the opportunity to experience this business and meet the owners.
