The space has an industrial-chic feel with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar. Service was friendly and attentive, and the bartender highlighted their bottomless mimosa special which I happily took advantage of. To balance things out, I ordered the BLTA sandwich, which was simple yet delicious. The menu was reasonably priced and refreshingly straightforward which I appreciated. This place checks all the boxes. It's a tapas house. We tried the patatas bravas, charcuterie, and bruschetta. All were great! They have an outstanding cocktail menu with something for everyone. We stopped in here for dessert and drinks on a Friday night. We did have to wait a short time for a table but that's expected on a Friday night without a reservation (Reservations are definitely recommended). While their craft cocktail menu was pretty short, they were accommodating in making a custom drink not on the menu, and the waiter, who also doubled as our bartender, was really knowledgeable about the alcohols they had to choose from. Here's how I'd rank the dishes we tried: 1. Chargrilled Angus Tenderloin - 5/5 Wow. The tenderness and flavor were absolutely on point. Cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully, easily the standout of the night. 2. Queso Con Carne - 5/5 The chips were fresh and crisp, and the queso paired with the meat was rich and flavorful. An addictive combination that we couldn't stop dipping into. 3. Patatas Bravas - 4/5 The sauce was amazing with a nice spicy kick, which I loved. Great flavor balance and a solid dish overall. 4. Red Fish Tacos - 3/5 My daughter really loved these, but for me, there was a strong fishy aftertaste that lingered a bit too much. 5. Espresso Pork Belly - 3/5 The tenderness was excellent, but the burnt coffee aftertaste didn't quite work for me. If they adjusted it to have more of a "millionaire's bacon" flavor profile while keeping that same tenderness, this dish would definitely be a hit. I'll start with, there are some interesting reviews on here. Reading is fundamental, it's a tapas restaurant-of course the portions are small. And what year do we think we're in, cocktails averaged $14, which is pretty cheap these days. Let's try writing reviews with substance, that make sense. Off my soap box. I went to Juniper for what I thought would be Friday HH but learned that it's only Monday through Thursday I'll keep my thoughts on who doesn't do Friday HH to myself and just say maybe they will fix this at some point. We had the margarita with tequila and mezcal, lemon drop, beef tenderloin, pork belly, fish tacos and Brussels. All drinks and dishes were great. The Brussels had a lemon or lime zing, which made them stand out and the fish tacos were just right. The pork belly was flavorful and sat on top of fried polenta. The service overall was great, in that they were very attentive. Outside of the actual waiter who couldn't read the room and constantly kept interrupting our conversation. It was quite excessive and absolutely annoying but that's something a little training can fix. I don't know if training can fix a server who takes it upon themselves to keep my change without my consent. If a customer gives you cash, you can ask would you like change but you should never assume that it's yours to keep - kind of a basic skill but I digress. Honestly, I almost gave 3 stars due to the waiter but decided that I wouldn't let his serving skills taint my review. It's here. The best foodie place around. This small plates tapas style was amazing. We had the chef special orange salmon bites. Flavors mixed well salmon was fresh tasting. The steak tenderloin bites were tender and delicious. We also had the tempura broccolini. I can say enough. Presentation was beautiful and food came out well timed. I had the mushroom old fashioned which I was tentative about tying but was very smooth. Wife had the juniper old fashion which was perfect. Not to sewer not too strong. Hard to find. Food was good; portions were small and pricey even for tapas. Also, and most importantly for me, the server was not well educated on what was gluten free (I am celiac) and what was not and/or if modifications could be made. I had to suggest that they could modify the charcuterie board if they put the crostini on the side... It sounds like they fry a lot of their food and they don't have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items. Our server even said he spoke to the chef and the chef said the corn tortillas "might have flour". It's almost 2026. Please educate yourselves and your staff on how to accommodate someone with celiac disease. read more

Our waitress was friendly, kind & welcoming. The tapas plates are fantastic! We had the red fish tacos, crispy Brussels sprouts & chargrilled black angus on a bed of mashed potatoes. Brussels were hand delivered by the owner, who obviously passionate about his customers. The food was flavorful, the presentation was spot on & we enjoyed sharing the dishes. This review is solely based on customer service. I had a reservation for 4 for a friend's birthday dinner at 5:45. The day of, at 2:30, Juniper called to confirm my reservation which I did. And then proceeded to tell me that they had a private event scheduled and would be closing the restaurant at 7:00, and wanted to make sure I knew and would "still have enough time to enjoy my meal." As if barely over an hour is long enough to fully enjoy a birthday dinner and drinks. While I understand the situation, the fact that it was not conveyed until 3 hours prior is absolutely ridiculous and terrible customer service. That call should have taken place, at minimum, the day before so other arrangements could be made. Just a warning, you should check and make sure you have an adequate amount of time prior to making a reservation there. read more

We went here for our anniversary and honestly walked away underwhelmed. The food portions were laughably small--like the carpaccio, which was mostly bread with barely enough beef to call it carpaccio. The pork belly? Where's the belly? The "patatas bravas" were just...french fries. And the Brussels sprouts? Slimy and sad. Why is it so hard for restaurants to just fry them properly? The atmosphere had potential, but instead of cozy and romantic dinner vibes, the lights were cranked up to max. It felt more like a cafeteria than a dining experience. The GM even admitted the lighting system needs fixing--not exactly something you want to hear during dinner. The cocktails were the only redeeming part of the night, but even those were overpriced. The one bright spot? The service was actually very good--our server was attentive, professional, and did what they could to make the experience better. For the hype this place gets, I expected much better. People raving about the food must think Applebee's is fine dining. Bottom line: Juniper looks the part, but the execution falls flat. I have been saying for a while that we need a good cocktail bar in GT, so I was excited to check them out. Unfortunately, I left wanting more. The cocktails are just okay and pricey. I had expectations that their cocktails would be top notch but they fell short. I get that it's tapas so the smaller portions are fine, but the prices were outrageous. The empanadas were bland, the habanero shrimp was nothing special, the bruschetta was good but laughably small portions, and the steak good except the mashed potatoes were lumpy and did nothing for the dish. We left hungry and passed on having more than one cocktail because the ones we had were such a disappointment. I don't think I'll be coming back. At $16 per cocktail, and $14-16 per tapas plate, the last thing I want is to be underwhelmed. read more

Well, we went with high hopes of a new spot. Hostess was nice and our 1st waiter was super sweet but thats pretty much the Pros of our experience. We ordered 2 drinks, The Queen Park and a Makers Mark Cellars age and the special of empandas. The waiter poured our waters and said he placed our order then returned to inform us we are not his table. NBD. The new waiter didn't come over for a little to introduce himself and the old waiter brought our empandas before we got our drinks. The empandas were made in a puff pastry, but tastes nothing like an empanda. It wasn't very good. Bland without much flavor. The texture was alright but the lack of flakiness in the puff pastry was off putting. We were told our drinks were next so we watched the bartender make our drinks and sure enough, she pulled a regular Makers Mark off the shelf. My husband tried to tell the new waiter ot was wrong but he came over and we explained what happened. He took care of it but all he said was, Good catch sir. My drink was all ice. If I poured it into a separate glass I think we are talking 3 oz of liquid. Maybe 4 total. At 14 dollars I don't want a slushy. . We planned to stay longer but decided it wasn't worth it. The waiter told us they are hoping for a michelin star rating. I wish them all the luck in the world. They'll need it. The atmosphere didn't have a connection to the theme of the restaurant and felt like a random mix of styles that were not cohesive. It was clean with great natural light but it felt disconnected from the rest. read more
