The birria empanadas and keg tots were both delicious, and we loved the seasonal hot dog menu--it was such a fun, creative touch. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. There were plenty of TVs showing a mix of sports and other entertainment (we even caught a cooking show and some trivia questions), but it never felt like an overwhelming sports bar. It struck a really nice balance. The beer selection was impressive too, with a great variety of guest taps in addition to their house beers. The Hazy Hazy Hippo IPA was a standout, and the happy hour prices made everything even better. The service was excellent throughout our visit. Edward was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. As a bonus, the outdoor space is fantastic. The ship-themed playscape is such a fun addition for families, and the patio is spacious and inviting. Whether you're stopping by for a drink, a meal, or bringing the kids along, Cottonwood Creek Brewery has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

The onion rings were fried to perfection and had a nice breading My dining companions had the Frito pie, adult chicken tenders, and the patty melt and all raved about the food I will definitely have to come back and try some of their other offerings If you haven't tried the Cottonwood Creek brewery in Hutto you need to put it on your list

We went yesterday afternoon and its a really nice property with tons of space. They have a cool stage area, a playground, several tables near the bar with view of the tv and some open inside space next to cornhole. I want to say they had about 8 of other breweries beers on tap (real ale bock and Pinthouse Scorpion Disco are the two I remember) and then they also had cocktails and 2 of their own beers: an amber, and then what I got: the tangerine cream ale. I thought it was pretty good which was surprising as usually, new breweries take a bit to get things figured out. It would be a solid beer for a warm day. The bartender was friendly and they also had a bbq truck on site that smelled delicious but we didn't have time to check-out this time. The only negative I'd say is there is zero inside space with A/C, its all open air. That's not a dealbreaker for me but as its only going to get even hotter, I'm curious how it will impact their business.

Dog friendly and kind of a tree house on the hill vibe. The food truck was closed when we got there, but they had an event for Mother's day, so my guess was they sold out. Otherwise I would have never known of this brewery if it weren't for Barks for Beers!

It's definitely a destination, in the sense that you're not going to just stumble across it on your next walk. I happen to love this vibe. The crowd skews a bit older, despite the fact that cocktails range from $8 - 10. When I went, it was chill, and a big country band was out jamming on the gazebo. There's also a smaller stage indoors. They brew/distill everything on sight and I've been told there are sporadic tours, which I really want in on. Hopefully those start up again soon! I know I'll be back for a bottle of whiskey, regardless.

They have 2 rooms with a lot of seating, and an outdoor stage where the band was performing. I really enjoyed the band, and they drew a good sized crowd. I enjoyed my drinks. I forgot to take a picture of the last one, the Mango Volcano, made with chipotle rum, and it was my favorite. The drinks are well made and reasonably priced which I loved. Everyone at the bar was very friendly. I do wish there had been a little more outdoor seating, but it looked like they were repairing some of their picnic tables. The location and band made for a fun Friday night. Link to the band's website: http://www.bookthecovers.com
