There were plenty of TVs showing a mix of sports and other entertainment (we even caught a cooking show and some trivia questions), but it never felt like an overwhelming sports bar. It struck a really nice balance. The beer selection was impressive too, with a great variety of guest taps in addition to their house beers. The Hazy Hazy Hippo IPA was a standout, and the happy hour prices made everything even better. The service was excellent throughout our visit. Edward was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. As a bonus, the outdoor space is fantastic. The ship-themed playscape is such a fun addition for families, and the patio is spacious and inviting. Service was great, our sever was friendly and quick to deliver our food and carry out our orders correctly (my wife got the chicken burger modified for her needs and it was dead on). The chicken burger was really good as well. But I'll stick to the beef ;) The feel of the restaurant is that of a bar/restaurant, dim and cozy. So much fun! Ordered a drink at the bar. They have mocktails that are not on the menu, so you have to ask. The hibiscus mocktail was so delicious and a deal at $4. My friend enjoyed her "grownup" hibiscus cocktail, too. So much fun to sing rounds of Piano Man, Sweet Caroline and Shout, that we came back the next day after another day of conferencing and closing down the adults only, Grotto Swim Bar, at the waterpark. Lose Yourself, the first time I've ever heard/sang a rap song at a piano bar. A great place to unwind after a long day of learning at Kalahari. Thanks for the music and the complimentary round of hibiscus mocktails on day 2. Can't wait to go back next year.

We went yesterday afternoon and its a really nice property with tons of space. They have a cool stage area, a playground, several tables near the bar with view of the tv and some open inside space next to cornhole. I want to say they had about 8 of other breweries beers on tap (real ale bock and Pinthouse Scorpion Disco are the two I remember) and then they also had cocktails and 2 of their own beers: an amber, and then what I got: the tangerine cream ale. I thought it was pretty good which was surprising as usually, new breweries take a bit to get things figured out. It would be a solid beer for a warm day. The bartender was friendly and they also had a bbq truck on site that smelled delicious but we didn't have time to check-out this time. The only negative I'd say is there is zero inside space with A/C, its all open air. That's not a dealbreaker for me but as its only going to get even hotter, I'm curious how it will impact their business.
