The very best thing about this establishment, however, is their service. My husband always plans ahead for our anniversary celebration, and has worked closely with the management of Cork and Barrel on more than one occasion to make our evening extra special. From flower delivery directly to our table, to a private location so we could visit uninterrupted, the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful in making his vision come to life. They have events and food trucks weekly, a bunch of TVs, around 10 beers on tap, and a nice crowd of regulars keeping the vibe up. For the true Austin brewery fans, keep an eye out in the back for some empty kegs labeled and reclaimed from other, former breweries, that now have a new home at Power.

The selection is good, just not great mainly because the store itself is probably about 800 ft.². The aisles towards the back are very narrow and it's easy to knock something off the shelf. They have plenty of liquor singles, and even a small cigar humidor. They keep the good stuff behind the counter, but they don't have many choices on the high-end side. They have sold off or separated the bar. The bar isn't open yet, but it's totally separate now. So this side is just the gas station, FOOD and still an awesome selection of beer. Looks like they even have gas again! Ordered some simple items and just as yummy as I remember. So glad we can come back more often now. Started this review 3 years ago: We've been going there for 9 years and every year it seems to go a little more downhill crushing my soul ;).
