This still my go to place to ship anything and pick up a few things he has on special inside. This is a small business, one man owned place that has uhaul also, making busy days almost impossible. Bear with them as he handles customers wanting uhauls for one way changing what size to get etc, it's a lot of work for one person. Be patient and he can help. Uhaul does have changes in policies he is abiding for and they don't make it east. Plan ahead on rentals . Plush animals and candle wick candles are my go to items other than shipping. We have had a post office box here for 3 years and was never given a key. We have had a terrible experience coming in to check our mail and having NOTHING for weeks and then getting things that were obviously mailed almost a month prior. This caused us to miss checks, IRS notifications, bills, etc. Now they are closed and I am having to drive to flowery branch to get my mail and our box was also receiving mail for a few other companies. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Of the owner was there, he was rude and dismissive and occasionally there was a younger kid working who wasn't trained well enough to help with anything. read more

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! Rude does not describe the treatment I received. The guy told me to shut up! Prior I never raised my voice, I said let the other customers go while I ask Uhaul about my confirmed reservation being switched to an out of the way local that they told me was only 3 miles from my original reservation. He asked if I wanted to cancel, I said hold on let me speak to Uhaul about my reservation, a credit or mileage reduction or something because this was not 3 miles. Kevin was helpful and explained the shipping process on a very detailed shipment. He is not overly friendly and outgoing -- he's not going to qualify to enter the Mr. Personality contest, but I was there for business and not to make friends. We just moved into the area and it's a pleasure to have a local small business do the incompetent work that the post office can't seem to handle or do. The shop is quaint, dated, but it is clean and organized. The mailbox rental is much lower than the UPS Store that is across the street. Goin' Postal is more personalized. We also will be needing a UHaul rental next month and it was convenient to learn that he does the local UHaul rentals. read more

Needed to rent a UHaul trailer for the day. The guy behind the counter (I think the owner) was NOT at all customer friendly. Asked if I could use the bathroom, told me no. Asked if I could drop off at my Kennesaw location instead of returning trailer to Flowery Branch, he said it would be an additional $100.00, contract says it would be a minimum of twice the rental of $32.05. I was by myself and really needed a hand hooking the trailer up to my trailer hitch and preferred he assist to make sure it was secure. He really didn't want to get involved but did work his way through it. When I returned the trailer the next day, he saw me drive by the front window and drive around the back to drop it off, NEVER came out until I was finally able to finally get the trailer off of my hitch. I had a several fragile packages to send to a client in Los Angeles. I paid for extra bubble wrap and left, as I was assured it Would be wrapped per my instructions. It was not, one arrive broken (which I had to replace) and the client sent a pic of the wrap job, it was horrible. Dear Goin Postal, We have lived in Braselton for nearly four years and have used your place to mail items many times. Attached is a receipt for football tickets and parking passes the were mailed on Monday afternoon (11/12/12) and my husband was assured by using Priority Mail ($8.50) that the envelope would arrive to Spartanburg, SC "at the latest Thursday". To our knowledge the package did NOT arrive. Today is the 1pm game in Columbia, SC and they don't have the tickets or parking passes. Shame on us for using your place again. This is the third item that never arrived to it's destination after using "Goin Postal". We know longer trust your business and feel you know the items in these packages and have decided to use them as your own. The first time you did not deliver was an Itouch I mailed to my nephew in Rock Hill, SC. I said nothing because I didn't place insurance on it and felt "anybody can make a mistake" and I bought a new one for him. I feel you should know how we feel about your establishment. I can expect that in a chain store but when you TRY to support local business to be left feeling completely unimportant, it's definitely a disappointment. I will not be back. I was very impressed with the new owner, Kevin. I guess he bought the business in April of 2013. He seems to have a good grasp on the shipping business and customer service. I needed to ship a laptop that needed warranty repair to Texas. I didn't have a box to send it in though. Kevin helped me find the right box and proceeded to wrap it in bubble wrap so that it fit snugly into the box. We looked at the pricing for the shipping and decided to go with FedEx. There were other options available, like UPS and USPS. All in all, I felt that the price for the shipping and the box/packing was fair and I felt confident that it would get there in one piece. I have used Goin' Postal since then to fax some stuff as I don't have a land line anymore. I will definitely do business with Kevin again. read more

This is the WORST place by far to mail anything or even buy from. This place gives small businesses a BAD Name... I mailed several, several packages from this place for Christmas and I made sure I had plenty of time to get my packages there.. Several NEVER even made it to there destination when I went in to find out where the packages were I found out that The owner put the wrong addresses on two of them and I still have yet to find these packages in 4 weeks. 4 weeks now I have been missing expensive Christmas presents that were mailed from THIS store when I went in to talk to the owner of the place he got very nasty and seemed upset and told me he didn't have time to look for any of my packages and they were not important right now. Not only did they screwed up my Christmas gifts they could careless about finding them, not to mention they told me that the only way I should send it is priority I sent it priority spending over $10 for each box that over 4 weeks now has still yet to make it nor can anyone tell me where they are this place goin postal SUCKS they refused to help me, refuse to find out where anything is or give me my money back because THEY addressed to my package is totally wrong. The owner has no people skills at all and has ruined Christmas for my family. What's sad is this JERK is ruining business for other small businesses because of lack of trust people have. I really wish I would of listened to many people who told me this guy was AWFUL. He only seems to care about making a buck but really NOT KEEPING THE BUSINESS.
