They changed their menu since the last time I went. Still great value all around for Korea food. The seafood soft tofu stew was delicious and had great flavor. The bento box is totally worth it too. Service is so friendly here. The restaurant is quite small and there's a nice home vibe in general. Love it here!!
Guysss as much as I want to gatekeep this place forever, they also deserve their flowers!! My go go-to place for korean food whenever I'm in the city. The service is so good, two korean ommas that are super sweet. The place is cozy and homey, and plenty of seats. Most people take it to go it seems. This place is a MUST TRY for me. My order: Bibimbap - The stonepot version is the best version because of the crispy rice!! The food is always fresh and fast. Galbi Bento - The tempura was SO good, and the galbi was so tender and flavorful! The way the rice comes with an egg too ugh. Banchan - Always such a great addition to get your veggies in, always a hitter.
The fried rice was delicious. The chicken taste kinda reminded me of Taiwanese sausage, not sure why but I love Taiwanese sausage so... However my dish was super oily, so I have to dock off a star for that. There was a pool of oil at the end. Seems like not everyone's food was that oily, just me. Service is good, the server helped us with allergy information. The inside is cool with a picture of tempura on the table. Speaking of it seems many of the dishes are not Korean but Japanese or Chinese? So maybe don't come here if you want fully authentic Korean food but it's good.
Fairly solid all around, small interior was full. Saba - good flavor, ample portion. With the complimentary Banchan, its a meal for two. Chicken Salad - tender and flavorful pieces; big portion, some dressing would take it to another level. Korean Chicken - wish it was boneless, very good flavor Dolsot Bibimbap - average Kimchi Pancake - looked better than it tasted Tea was very good. Service friendly, but she got overwhelmed at times. May or may not return depending on parking.
Loved the tofu soup, the tofu melted in my mouth and the plentiful veggies did too. The bibimbap was simple and served in a nice dolsot. The red sauce is a tad too sweet, wouldn't mind some kick in there and less sugar. Pancakes were probably the best of the lot, thick, not overly greasy, stuffed with greens. They might be the healthiest korean pancakes I've had anywhere.
Food 5/5 - Superb ! A lot of food for the value. Daughter enjoyed it too ! Superb Korean spot! This reminds me of the one that I went to LA in Korea town. Things ordered: -LA Galbi: ! Yum ! This obento had Tons of food ! I didnt eat anything for the rest of the day. It comes with a soup and free vegetables! -King Chicken Katsu: Daughter ordered and she really liked it. Family friendly place. Service 4.8/5 - Waiter was fast and I love the big water containers they provide. I wish every restaurant provided that for families. Ambiance 4.7/5 - Its archaic hipster SF Ocean Ave. Vibe and (Cross street Plymouth St.) which I still love. This block hardly every changes with its line of multiple small family businesses on this street. It ain't as fancy but the food compensates!
Late weekend lunch, seated right away. The restaurant is not too large. Order a gimbap ($8), dolsot bibambap ($20), spicy chicken bento box ($18). The complimentary Bonchon was delicious. Dolsot bibambap was good, love the crispy rice pieces from the stone pot. Good assortment of veggies, but the beef can be more tender. The rice in the gimbap had hard pieces and was that not good, it was disappointing. Spicy chicken bento box has a great variety of items from salad, tempera, mandu. Grilled chicken was not too spicy, but needs more flavor. Overall, a mixed of both good and bad items.
Came here on a week night and it was surprisingly easy to find parking. We were seated right away- serve water/tea, banchan and a free soup. We ordered: - kimchi fried rice: looked and smelled delicious. Comes with a fried egg on top. Lacked a little depth in flavor but the kimchi flavor was there and it was nicely fried. - seafood pancake: the pancake was thick and loaded with ingredients so it was on the thicker side and a little crispy. It had enough flavor that I didn't need to dip the sauce on the side. - Korean fried chicken: wow the best dish for this meal! The chicken was saucy but still soo crunchy and flavorful. Didn't expect it to come with sides such as kimbap, salad, rice, fried egg and fried potatoes. Overall, great value for good Korean food and big portions! I would come back to try their katsu and get their fried chicken again.
Updated menu with new prices (my fave kalbi up 50%), possibly under new management. Staff is very nice, food quality is good. Doesn't seem as busy as usual, possibly from the prices going up. Will definitely still come back but not as much due to the drop it overall value.
Friendly staff, plenty of seating and always a great deal! If you're looking for a hearty lunch thus us the place to go, I got the LA Galbi Lunch Set, which is unbeatable for great Korean food in the city.

Unfortunately I went specifically for the fried chicken and that dish is not very good here. Banchan is unique and delicious. Some very fermented kimchi, some fresh kimchi, and generous portions of everything. Fried chicken is a little anemic. The meat is dry and it is not sauced so everything just feels tough and dry - I would skip this here and try something else.

Located in the corner near the Ingleside library is a hidden gem for the OMIE locals. Go Go 7 is one of the most affordable and satisfying Korean meals you can find in San Francisco. What they lack in fancy cuts that you can get at high end restaurants, they make up with generous servings, amazing service, and variety banchan. There was a lot of care from the people who ran the store the entire time we were there, and they treated everyone equally well! One serving of their food is enough to serve 2 smaller appetite individuals, especially with all their banchan. I'd definitely come again if I want some affordable Korean food near OMIE
The food was great here - I got the yukgaejang and it was just what I needed on a cold day. We also got the fried chicken thinking it would only be fried chicken, but it surprisingly came with rice, an egg, salad and a few pieces of kimbap. The chicken was great though and I kinda wished that we have more of the chicken. Otherwise the service and environment here were great. Our server was super attentive and quick to serve us food and water and side dishes. It was also easy to park nearby. read more
My 2nd time coming to Go Go 7 and I must say same excellent service I got as the 1st time I came. The staff were all kind, friendly, and hospitable. All the dishes were made fresh and tasted very delicious and yummy. The place is clean and well kept. I felt as if I went to a friend's house and was made some homemade dishes. Everything was reasonably priced and is in shareable portions. I loved the finishing touch where we got served nice cold sweet and delicious watermelon as a dessert. They truly take care of you here as if you are family. We were even offered tea at the end. Thank you yet again Go Go 7. Will definitely be recommending the restaurant and coming back in the future. read more

Pretty solid spot for Korean tofu soup, albeit their menu is a little small with a good amount of it being Japanese. Their portions are larger than expected and pricing is fair. I ordered a seafood tofu soup and forgot to ask them to make it mild spicy. Turns out, the soup is not as spicy as I expected, so people with a below average spice tolerance will probably be fine. The soup was pretty good, and its very hard to distinguish tofu soups apart since I assume they all use the soon tofu kit lol. I do like how they gave a lot of seafood in the soup, and the soup tasted a little more seafood-y than other spots. Service was attentive in the beginning, but as more people walked in, became relatively slow. Since it's a small spot with 1 person managing waiting tables and takeout orders, I waited a few minutes and had to raise my hand a couple times to call them over. This spot overall is a cheap, no frills place that gets the job done. Will definitely be coming back if I crave tofu soup again, but with HMart close by, it's getting harder and harder to justify coming in. read more

We pivoted from our original dinner plans when we saw this cute little no frills spot for Korean comfort food. Upon walking in, the waitress and the lady in the kitchen were so friendly and welcoming, and we felt at home. We ordered the kimbap, bulgogi combo and the stone bibimbap and man everything was so fresh and flavorful! We really loved our time and this spot is being added to the rotation! read more

Great portions. Decent price. Good taste. Excellent service. Food came out quick and hot. Between the four of us, we ordered 3 bento boxes (salmon, bulgogi, and Kalbi) and one Kalbi ribs with rice. Started with a large spread of ban chan. read more

Horrible lacks taste beef bulgogi was dry and not tender was not marinated in sauce as I always had it in the past. The chicken wings was horrible and no taste either they fry they rock hard just as is and give you a thin sauce to dip in. Spicy chicken nasty but you could eat it. I mean nothing had a great flavor at all I had to ask for sauce to pour over my food as did my friends. The one thing that's good is the tempura vegetables. Spent $82 and we left there looking for other food cause we were hungry. We didn't eat it. I looked At the starts and pictures and got fooled! read more

If you're looking for real delicious Korean food GoGo7 is the place. The flavors are spot on and you will want to try everything! The owner/family are extremely friendly and kind. The place sits on the corner with plenty of sunlight when dining especially during lunch. Plenty of seating and the interiors are very San Francisco small mom-pop decor, very charming. The star is the FOOD! Beef, Chicken, Ribs are cooked perfect BUT paired with the sauce and kimchi! You will be back! Dine in or take out you won't be disappointed. I frequent this the area and always pass by this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until today. I ordered their Spicy Pork Bento Box for $16 and it came with so much food!!! Portion bigger than I expected. It even came with so much banchan (I think 12 different varieties).. my jaw dropped when they brought it to the table. If you give me a bowl of rice, that's a whole meal right there!! Truly felt like you were eating at grandmas house. The highlight of the meal was the tkim. Guilty pleasure. And I was pleasantly surprised how good the spicy pork was because I almost never order stir fried pork whenever I'm eating out. Although it may look spicy, it was super mild which I like. Service was great. Good amount of seats inside. Ended the meal off with some complimentary orange cream jello and chocolate cake!! Overall 4.5/5. We had the spicy pork and beef bulgogi bento's and they were alright. The sides in the bento's were better than the main parts (being the spicy pork and beef bulgogi). The spicy pork wasn't spicy at all, but tasted decent enough. The beef bulgogi was pretty bland and had to be dipped in sauce. Everything else in the bento boxes were great though I would order different menu items if I ever go there again. The ambiance was okay, a little cramped with seating but overall peaceful with some low music in the background. The waitress was nice to us, but sort of left and wouldn't check in on us. Had to ask about three times or so for the check. read more

We ordered Kalbi and fried calamari via Doordash. Food tasted differently. Kalbi was very salty and too burnt; side dish was tiny portion. I saw that new management took over this place now. Maybe just need more time to get adjusted. read more

My friend and I both ordered the 2 items combo. I ordered chicken and added $1 for the spare ribs. It came with 1 fried dumpling, rice, 10 different banchans for the 2 of us to share, a small bowl of spicy noodles, and a Yakult drink for dessert. It was only $17 for all of this, or around $21 including tips. It is also +$1 if you want bulgogi, +$2 for salmon, or $3 for kalbi. We came at 12 noon on a Saturday and there were no lines. Very nice service and felt free to sit as long as we wanted since no one was waiting for a table. The food was very yummy and I'm very impressed by the variety of banchans/veggies! read more

How come you don't give kimbap and tkim with doshirak delivery?
Is anything here gluten free? I have a gluten allergy.
If you have to ask after looking at the menu and seeing the pictures, you shouldn't be ordering from here. There will be cross contamination from the flour for the fried stuff on everything.
Does the Tofu soup come with the KBBQ, or do you need to order it separately?
I haven't seen a soup and bbq combo on the menu.
Can someone get the bbq bugogi sandwich and send me pics?
