This place is small and unassuming but the service is fast, the food is good, and the portions are huge! If you are looking for a casual, no frills but yummy lunch or dinner this is definitely a great option.

Food 5/5 - Superb ! A lot of food for the value. Daughter enjoyed it too ! Superb Korean spot! This reminds me of the one that I went to LA in Korea town. Things ordered: -LA Galbi: ! Yum ! This obento had Tons of food ! I didnt eat anything for the rest of the day. It comes with a soup and free vegetables! -King Chicken Katsu: Daughter ordered and she really liked it. Family friendly place. Service 4.8/5 - Waiter was fast and I love the big water containers they provide. I wish every restaurant provided that for families. Ambiance 4.7/5 - Its archaic hipster SF Ocean Ave. Vibe and (Cross street Plymouth St.) which I still love. This block hardly every changes with its line of multiple small family businesses on this street. It ain't as fancy but the food compensates!

Late weekend lunch, seated right away. The restaurant is not too large. Order a gimbap ($8), dolsot bibambap ($20), spicy chicken bento box ($18). The complimentary Bonchon was delicious. Dolsot bibambap was good, love the crispy rice pieces from the stone pot. Good assortment of veggies, but the beef can be more tender. The rice in the gimbap had hard pieces and was that not good, it was disappointing. Spicy chicken bento box has a great variety of items from salad, tempera, mandu. Grilled chicken was not too spicy, but needs more flavor. Overall, a mixed of both good and bad items.

Fairly solid all around, small interior was full. Saba - good flavor, ample portion. With the complimentary Banchan, its a meal for two. Chicken Salad - tender and flavorful pieces; big portion, some dressing would take it to another level. Korean Chicken - wish it was boneless, very good flavor Dolsot Bibimbap - average Kimchi Pancake - looked better than it tasted Tea was very good. Service friendly, but she got overwhelmed at times. May or may not return depending on parking.

Came here on a week night and it was surprisingly easy to find parking. We were seated right away- serve water/tea, banchan and a free soup. We ordered: - kimchi fried rice: looked and smelled delicious. Comes with a fried egg on top. Lacked a little depth in flavor but the kimchi flavor was there and it was nicely fried. - seafood pancake: the pancake was thick and loaded with ingredients so it was on the thicker side and a little crispy. It had enough flavor that I didn't need to dip the sauce on the side. - Korean fried chicken: wow the best dish for this meal! The chicken was saucy but still soo crunchy and flavorful. Didn't expect it to come with sides such as kimbap, salad, rice, fried egg and fried potatoes. Overall, great value for good Korean food and big portions! I would come back to try their katsu and get their fried chicken again.

Updated menu with new prices (my fave kalbi up 50%), possibly under new management. Staff is very nice, food quality is good. Doesn't seem as busy as usual, possibly from the prices going up. Will definitely still come back but not as much due to the drop it overall value.

We pivoted from our original dinner plans when we saw this cute little no frills spot for Korean comfort food. Upon walking in, the waitress and the lady in the kitchen were so friendly and welcoming, and we felt at home. We ordered the kimbap, bulgogi combo and the stone bibimbap and man everything was so fresh and flavorful! We really loved our time and this spot is being added to the rotation!

Friendly staff, plenty of seating and always a great deal! If you're looking for a hearty lunch thus us the place to go, I got the LA Galbi Lunch Set, which is unbeatable for great Korean food in the city.

This place has such a mom and pop feel - eating here truly feels like going to your favorite aunt's house for a meal. Service is so familial and friendly. Unfortunately I went specifically for the fried chicken and that dish is not very good here. Banchan is unique and delicious. Some very fermented kimchi, some fresh kimchi, and generous portions of everything. Fried chicken is a little anemic. The meat is dry and it is not sauced so everything just feels tough and dry - I would skip this here and try something else.

This spot is the definition of fun, friendly, and unforgettable! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with energy, warmth, and the irresistible aroma of sizzling BBQ. Food highlights? The deep-fried vegetable and shrimp tempura are crispy perfection, while the chicken wings are juicy, flavorful, and far from dry. And the banchan? A total win--those endless little side dishes make every meal feel like a feast. I especially love the seaweed--so addictive! The chive pancake is the best! Seating is never a hassle, even during peak hours. When it's busy, the lively atmosphere just makes it even better. There's nothing like enjoying your food while catching the delicious scent of BBQ grilling in the kitchen. Parking? Easy. Takeout? Seamless. The vibe is pure comfort with a dash of cool--whether you're stopping in for breakfast, grabbing lunch with friends, sitting down for dinner, or winding down after work with a drink. This place just works for every mood and moment. It's a mom & pop Korean treasure that feels both homey and vibrant. Honestly--why would you go anywhere else? Highly recommend!

Located in the corner near the Ingleside library is a hidden gem for the OMIE locals. Go Go 7 is one of the most affordable and satisfying Korean meals you can find in San Francisco. What they lack in fancy cuts that you can get at high end restaurants, they make up with generous servings, amazing service, and variety banchan. There was a lot of care from the people who ran the store the entire time we were there, and they treated everyone equally well! One serving of their food is enough to serve 2 smaller appetite individuals, especially with all their banchan. I'd definitely come again if I want some affordable Korean food near OMIE

$18.99 you get all these + complimentary side dishes

Good place for a quick lunch. They are not very busy and you will get food pretty quick. Reasonable prices. Service is excellent. As usual, you get these free Korean side dishes when you are waiting for your main dish.

How come you don't give kimbap and tkim with doshirak delivery?

Is anything here gluten free? I have a gluten allergy.

If you have to ask after looking at the menu and seeing the pictures, you shouldn't be ordering from here. There will be cross contamination from the flour for the fried stuff on everything.

Does the Tofu soup come with the KBBQ, or do you need to order it separately?

I haven't seen a soup and bbq combo on the menu.

Can someone get the bbq bugogi sandwich and send me pics?

Don't have picture, but portion size is large

That could be a good or bad thing depending on the vibe you are going for. All the dishes hit their mark for me. We got: Mulhwae: very refreshing white fish sashimi with refreshing greens, citrusy sauce and strawberries. I thought the strawberries added more to the presentation than the taste. However, the dish itself was delicious. Scallops and shrimp: Similar as above, a very refreshing light appetizer. I would get either this of the other because they're kind of the same idea. Potato fritter w/ mentaiko: probably my top 1 or 2 of the night. Think fancy hashbrown with creamy umami pollock row plus more crispy toppings. This is a must-have I would say. Soft tofu soup w/ galbi: I liked the theatrical element of pouring the home-grown soy from Oakland to create the tofu right in front of you. The umami broth and the jang make this dish very rich. Another must have! Pork jowl bossam: this was a delicious take on bossam. Smokey soft jowl. The greens and kimchi accompanied it made this dish taste so healthy while satisfying your craving. If you just love buttery soft tender meat, go for it. However if you like jowl because you like the chew/bounce on every bite, you might be disappointed because this meat is super soft! Drinks: matcha colada was a little too coconuttey for me. It kind of overpowered the taste of any matcha but if you like coconut, this is a perfect visually pleasing and sweet dessert cocktail. The lychee blossom had a pleasant taste of fruit and almost tasted like there was yogurutoo or calpico in it. I much preferred this drink and it was on the sweeter side too. Overall pleasant experience, worth taking some guests or a date. Also we got 4-5 dishes but left super full! We probably would've been fine with 1 or 2 appetizers less.

We came here to celebrate my mother's birthday and everything tasted amazing!…read more We almost ordered everything on the menu and shared family style. The portions were on the smaller side so had we ordered an extra dish or two, I think we would've been very full. We ordered about 3 appetizers, 3 mains and 3 desserts and it was just about perfect. All of the dishes had well rounded flavors and super tasty. The matcha dessert was my favorite! I do have a natural sweet tooth but the presentation and overall execution was cool.

Granted we were a bit late for our reservation, we ended up having to wait another 30-40 mins. The place (2nd floor) is small & awkward. We were all cramped waiting on the stairway and the actual seating area is also fairly small for a busy KBBQ place/big parties. The 8 of us squeezed into a booth with 2 chairs on the side. You can also feel whenever the table next to us got up and stomped/yelled/moved in their chairs-- which was really often. The basic AYCE menu is fairly limited-- esp for the side options. The marinated meats were pretty good as was the tteokbokki. Side & meat portions were alright, but the kicker is having to flag down staff to make sure they put in the order & bring it out. We asked for japchae about 5 times before it actually reached our table towards the end of our meal. The server/manager also told us that he had accidentally brought out 2 bottles of soju for us and that he'd COMP 1 bottle. We didnt notice that he had actually charged us for 2 and comped/subtracted a "third" one. So none were really comped at all. I just realized after we paid and that felt really sketchy. Idk if it's worth coming back here.

The delicious taste of tangy, savory, spicy, and sour, together with a complex, pungent, and, crunchy profile is the perfect start before our lunch selection. Its fermented cabbage has a strong, aromatic notes of garlic, ginger, and chili powder, which marries perfectly with our set lunch.
