Tried this new place that recently opened up in HMart, and was definitely not disappointed! I went with my family on a Wednesday afternoon and we tried the beef brisket topokki (large), mild spice. I loved the long rice cakes and the sauce was amazing. The sauce was both sweet and spicy, and the rice cakes were soft and smooth. Overall, great dish for lunch and to share with others. I do think the large portion is not large enough for 3 people (it can probably only feed 2 people). Also, there is a bit of a wait (~10 minutes). It was also a bit pricey, with the total being around $28-$32. However, I think I would still try this place again because of the great flavors here.

This eatery replaced the notorious kalbijim and is located at the end of the food court, which can be seen from the entrance. We ordered the cheese chicken topokki (with tax about $30) with the choice of less spicy, at the counter and was given a buzzer to pick up when the food is ready. The food came out piping hot and was filled to the brim. It had potstickers, egg and fried chicken smothered with cheese on top. It was a huge portion and enough for 2 people and the topokki was soft and chewy. The sauce was so delicious, I kept the left over sauce to add to my home made topokki to get another meal out of it. Service was quick and efficient. A great place to eat before or after shopping at H-Mart.

Loving this new edition to HMart, and it takes over the old Daeho spot. This spot is basically the famed Yup Dduk in LA, but the sauces are more flavorful and the tteobokki are super long. Prices can be a little on the high end when you're essentially eating tteobokki, a few brisket slices, and other "low value" items. I ordered a Brisket Tteobokki in the large size, and it honestly felt enough for 1 person with a decent appetite with a little to spare. I am not sure who claimed that they give generous portions, because I don't really think they give enough to share from a medium size unless you're ordering other dishes. I luckily wasn't really hungry so my wife and I were able to share a large. If I was though, we would 100% need another order. The tteobokki was cooked to perfection, the brisket and other ingredients in the dish were all fresh and tasty. The dumplings they gave are pretty good, and I recommend eating them while they're crunchy before the sauce makes them soggy. The sauce is sweet and spicy, and still packed a punch even at mild spicy. I wouldn't recommend anything above regular spice levels unless you're a spicy fanatic. Service was fast and friendly and the ordering process/menu layout is easy to read.

Fun all in one plate with a variety of delicious snacks. Really enjoyed the extra long rice cakes and cheese pull. Could go for spicier next time instead of medium.

A new place opened up at Hmart food court and it's very popular right now. Service was excellent -- accommodating and friendly. There are lots of seating that have opened up in the food court so you shouldn't have a problem finding a table to sit at. Wait was only about 10 minutes on a Friday around 4pm -- lots of young people coming to check out Dduk Dabang and everybody wants a Korean dog! We tried: T4 Chicken Cheese Rosé Topokki $25 medium size - the best out of everything, comes with a good amount of gooey cheese. The chicken was delicious. Overall a little sweet but very cream. I also loved the long versions of topokki so it tastes like chewy noodles. You get a good amount of ramen noodles too. R5 Buldak Spicy Ramyun (Single) $17.95 appears to be same size - this was more sweet than spicy to me and not as good compared to T4. The best part was again the chicken included C5 Half & Half Popcorn Chicken $29 Soy Garlic and Sweet Corn - I had a hard time deciding between the flavors. After a thorough consultation with their staff, I was told the sweet corn tastes like Turtle Chips and I can confirm -- yup, that's what it tastes like -- a little too sweet for my liking but I'm glad I tried it. The soy garlic was also on the sweet side. These are boneless thighs I believe. If I'm in a mood for chicken, I'd probably go to BHC right across the hall but definitely come to Dduk Dabang for their Chicken Cheese Rosé Topokki!! I'm also curious about their pork cheese cutlet M5 for $20.95 so I might be back to try this out next time!

Super cute design and good selection of options.

We stopped by to check out the new HMart expansion and discovered a few new businesses in the food court. The DDuk Dabang caught our eye. We ordered the Rose Ttekboki and beef brisket and added Ramyun along with the garlic soy chicken. Izzy the cashier was super helpful and explained our options. Service was prompt and the food came out solid. Def a great addition to the HMart offerings. There's a lot more seating for those eating in and it was so nice to see how nicely it was here. We will be back!

Stopped by this place after our HeyTea haul in Stonestown and holy, this was my first time being here. The rose had to be my favorite so far because it compliments the proteins, noodles, mandu and tteokboki extremely well! The ramyum is good as well, but incomparable to the rose. Both my gf and i love this spot so much now, especially after spending time in the mall. Another spot added to our favorites list. Seating was typical, clean tables but crowded of course. When you order, they give you a token that vibrates when your food is ready. We will def be back here if we find ourselves in stonestown!

So good!!! This place exceeded my expectations. The whole brisket rose tteokbokki dish was addictively amazing. It was a little spicy, sweet, and creamy. I loved the variety of toppings. The tteok was perfectly cooked, soft but not mushy. It was fun to eat. Medium is big enough for two people who are not big eaters. The only critique I have are the dumplings are a bit dry. I can't wait to come back!

I ordered their k soy garlic popcorn chicken. It was very tasty. The chicken was crispy and wasn't too garlicky at all. It was just right. They recently opened this spot in the hmart food court. It have 20 pieces in it. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have told me what is popular in the menu. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I like it a lot. I would come back and try the other stuff on their menu next time.

I had never had tteokbokki from a restaurant before and I have to say I get the hype. I ordered the T3 and it had a great chew to it and the fried chicken, with cheese, cabbage and ramyun is just a great combo. The flavor of the sauce is great. Sweet and a little spicy (I ordered less spicy so I could share with the family). Carbonara Noodles are very savory (almost Cacio e Pepe like, but saucier) and great paired with the sweet popcorn chicken. Recommend! This place didn't have any Korean corn dogs available today so not sure how long they've been out. Will come back and try other items. Great customer service and good amount of food that can be shared, helps justify the price of the food.

Tasty tteokbokki and fried chicken inside H Mart! I ordered the No. 1 brisket tteokbokki and medium fried chicken with sweet spicy sauce. Both portions were generous and easily shareable. I chose the original spice level, which had very little heat and should be enjoyable for most people; those who are very sensitive to spice may want to go with mild. Everything was flavorful, and the staff were very apologetic about the wait. However, I waited close to 40 minutes for my order, so this definitely isn't a fast-food experience. Unfortunately, the Korean corn dogs were sold out, and I heard the wait for those can be even longer. Too bad they don't serve beer, though I can understand why. One star off for the unusually long wait and the ramen, which I felt was slightly overcooked. I hope they can improve the speed of service, as 30-40 minutes is quite a long wait for a food court. Around 15 minutes would be much more reasonable. Overall, I'd still recommend this place to anyone who enjoys spicy rice cakes and Korean fried chicken, and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

The service was quick, and the staff were very polite. They were also very helpful in answering any questions we had about the menu. We ordered the mild beef brisket toppoki, which was absolutely delicious! It was perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and spiciness. I would definitely come here again.

The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a place like this as it is lively but not loud, cozy but not cramped, and always buzzing with good energy, from the staff through to most of the patrons on any given night. The menu is a greatest-hits tour of German comfort food. The deviled eggs are a must to start your meal and the wienerschnitzel is my personal go‑to as it is crispy, moist, and so flavorful every time I've had it. The jägerschnitzel is another standout if you are feeling something a little lighter and saucier as it rich and savory in all the right ways, and the sausages are always banging and perfect alongside a big stein of beer. It's the kind of food that feels made for long conversations and slow sipping. What really elevates Suppenküche, though, is the people. The staff are super friendly and clearly know their stuff, always ready with a beer recommendation or a menu suggestion and the patrons tend to match that vibe; if you end up at the bar or sharing a table, which is pretty common if you come with a small group, you're likely to find yourself chatting with someone new before long. There's honestly no better way to make new friends in SF than bonding over schnitzel and a great German beer at Suppenküche.

I decided to try the Boca burger cheesesteak sandwich while my partner got the turkey. The first thing we noticed was how amazingly soft the bread was, a big difference compared to other cheesesteak restaurants. The sandwiches also aren't huge and overfilled.... which surprisingly is what we prefer! We were able to eat everything and didn't feel like we had taken a bomb to our stomachs, which usually happens after a big cheese filled sandwich. On top of that, the sandwiches were delicious. The grilled onions were good and the cheese melted well and got into all the bits of the sandwich and meat fillings. Our food came out piping hot but not so bad that we had to wait too long before we could eat. The shop is small but there's indoor and outdoor seating and it's close to a few parks and bars that will let you bring in food. Service was quick and the workers were nice and friendly.
