Food is good, atmosphere is relaxing, service is outstanding thanks to our wonderful server Autumn S., she makes our dinner night out a fun time. She has a personality that keeps us coming back over and over. I decided to come here due to the gluten free options, but my bad experience outweighs anything else positive that happened. Everything was cool until I decided to order a drink. I was visiting out of state, so the waitress looked at my ID and told me she had to have the bar manager check it. I didn't have a problem with that until the bar manager came back SMILING, with an attitude, telling me "we can't accept this." I asked why, and he gave me the same response with an attitude. I was annoyed, but didn't make a big deal out of it because it's only a drink. The waitress was actually very nice about it (the only reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one) and the only other reason why I gave a tip. The only reason I was upset is because of the managers attitude and how he didn't accept it for no reason at all. Also, the food was mediocre and I expected the cheese on the nachos to be real cheese, not velveeta cheese. My burger also came out wrong and the fries were cold. read more

The employees at the Annapolis location are exceptional people. (bartender and hostess) My mother's boyfriend was just getting out of some cancer treatment and were starving. I really love this restaurant with its laid back high end pub/restaurant and its very tasty food and outstanding wait staff. We usually visit at least 2 to 3 times a month since things have been better with the pandemic. Each time we have sat outside enjoying the weather and drinks and food. My biggest issue is the last few times there have been patrons that have decided to bring their pets(Dogs). Now I'm a dog lover and have my own dog that I leave at home when I go to dine. My issue is I think it's unsanitary, and a bit disrespectful to other patrons who would like to eat and drink without the presence of a dog or dogs, especially allowing the dogs to put their paws on the table. Now I understand these tables are wiped down after every guess departs but just isn't appropriate to allow your dog in the outdoor dining area imposing on other patrons who would like to eat without dining with a dog. I really hope management reconsider their dog in the dining area Policy, and just simply ask folks to leave their non service dogs at home for the sake of other patrons. I think if I go back and it's a continued issue, I will just leave and won't be back. read more

This place is fantastic! Every time I walk in I am welcomed with open arms! It's like cheers. The food is delicious and varied, the service is top notch. Without a doubt A fine place to eat some grub and enjoy life. They have so many televisions and games to watch your head might spin. The outdoor bar is beautiful and unique and a great place to spend a nice evening: Jose is a gem and will always make you smile. Watch out because he will make you feel like family and is always quick to offer a recommendation for something tasty and unique. This restaurant is our go to! My husband and I are here at least once a week, usually more often. Parking is easy and seating is plentiful. Food is delicious and there is a huge menu to choose from including a seasonal menu that is delicious! The staff is courteous and welcoming and the management is very helpful with any situation that arises. Autumn has been our waitress for our last few visits and she is outstanding!! She is away of my food allergies and is very cautious and makes sure all of my food is safe for me. We ask for her by name when we come in now. She is upbeat, quick, and knowledgeable. The new Glory Days Restuarant in Edgewater is awesome. The design, decor, food, and service was nothing short of awesome on a late Saturday night. Our server, Eddie S. (115) was superb in catering to our every need as well as very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the nearby area. Our meal consisted of the awesome fish tacos, fresh guacamole, sweet potato fries (HUGE PORTION) , strawberry tea, and absolutely phenomenal apple cobbler ale a mode! This restaurant is one of my new favorite places in the area. They have great food, great drinks, and great customer service. It's a fantastic sports bar and has a great family friendly atmosphere. And if you want to have a great meal with a server who likes to make a genuine connection with his customers ask for Ryan. He ensures everyone has an amazing experience. Every new eatery in Edgewater gets slammed the first week or so - just how it goes in this part of town. We gave it time and came in before 5 on a weekday assuming that would be safe and as far as the crowd goes it was. This isn't my typical kind of restaurant but the wife liked her turkey burger with lettuce wrap instead of a bun which is huge considering how incredibly picky she is. Service was polite but didn't seem like they'd ever waited tables before. Food took far too long to come out and all we ordered was tacos ("Taco Tuesday") and a turkey burger - took over 20 mins with no real crowd to speak of. Manager did come by about 2 minutes before food arrived and asked how everything was going and I mentioned the food wait - he disappeared and the food appeared. The chicken tacos I got were of very good size for the price during the special however lacked any real character or flavor. Asked for hot sauce - all they have is Tabasco - which is fine for some things but not for tacos. They did come with a lime on each and a tiny tiny bit of cilantro - I would have liked lots more myself. As I said - this place isn't where I typically would dine. It's tantamount to a TGI Fridays or anything of that chain ilk. The service was certainly not bad but the amount of 'Welcome to Glory Days' we got walking in was kind of like that greeting you get at sushi bars sometimes - a bit overwhelming and unnecessary - I know where I was at... The noise level is the typical situation most of these kinds of places suffers from - there is already considerable conversation noise and then they pipe in some non-descript music on top of it. It's a cacophony as usual - not as bad as the SteakHouse - they hold the record for that. They do have little speakers on each table you can program to a particular TV - I wonder what that's like on a football Sunday - interesting concept tho. The manager did comp our turkey burger which he did not have to do - that's a plus and I think this place will do just fine in Edgewater where quantity and value typically way outweigh quality. They have a different set of bar and food specials daily like most places - I will say this the outside bar and dining layout is nicely done. I can't say I won't be back - but will probably be for the bar if I do go back not the food. I still can't believe this used to be a corn field years ago lol. I've been here about five times now and each time the service has been awful. Last night my friend asked what Sam Adams they had and our waitress said "I don't know" ....after a lengthy awkward pause we ordered and any time anyone else had a question her same "I don't know" came out her mouth. I've worked in retail and customer service I know that she wasn't just unsure or just having a rough day, she was just being a fuckin bitch for no reason. Since opening day we have come several times to GD...We have yet to have a bad experience all around. We do dine at high end restaurants although we also dine at casual places. To be honest we have sat exclusively at the bar and John #96 has been and is very attentive. Look we have to give this place a chance - call it growing pains or whatever but it definitely beats Green Turtle or American Steakhouse. This place has its character and we should support new businesses that employ great people. If something bothers you vent to Mgmt and our hope is that they will do the right thing. Most new restaurants have some hiccups first few weeks after opening so we waited until last Thursday to give it a try. It was extremely crowded but it won't be that way very long if they continue to serve the food like we had. Three of us all ordered 3 different dishes and all 3 were sub par to outright bad. My fish was over cooked and extremely greasy. The sweet potato fries were very close to being cold. When our server asked about our meal experience I told him of my disappointment. He asked if I wanted anything else and I politely declined. When he dropped off our bill I was still charged for my food! All I ate was a few bites of the fish. I love coming here...we mostly use the bar area but service is always great, even when there's been a little issue. And the bartenders make you feel like you're friends and this day in age, I appreciate service like that. Food is almost always perfect. They have a gluten free menu which includes my favorite gluten free hamburger bun in the area! One time our burgers came out over cooked and they were so nice about it and brought out some hot delicious juicy burgers to make up for it. Yum! My husband and I went to Glory Days Grill in Edgewater for the first time on Monday. We love Glory Days, and have been to multiple different locations, but this was our first time at this location as we decided to come by for dinner after scouting a nearby assisted living facility. The food was as good as it usually is (We LOVE the Glory Sauce! :-) ) and the service seemed to be pretty good, as well. The reason I say "seemed to be" is the reason that I am writing this review. I am not a complainer, nor is my husband. If we have a bad experience we usually let it be known either in the tip (if service was the cause), or we just don't go back. I also try very hard not to be rude, but I must say, it was hard not to do both on Monday. The reason I say my service "seemed to be pretty good" is because is was just plain hard to tell. The manager was at our table constantly, and really made for an uncomfortable dining experience. We put our drink order in and before our server could return with the drinks, the manager was at the table thanking us for coming in, and so forth. We thought that was very nice, but he kept talking. Our server put our drinks down around the manager and left, and he waited for the manager to leave to come take our order. So we couldn't put our order in for about 10 minutes. After we put our order in, the manager came back. This time, HE PULLED UP A CHAIR! I couldn't believe it. Never in my life have I had ANY employee of a restaurant just sit down with us. It was extremely presumptuous and down right rude. Don't get me wrong, he was very pleasant, and he meant well, but who does that? It made me very uncomfortable and my husband and I barely got to talk to each other (which was kind of important that night because we wanted to discuss the facility we had just seen while it was fresh in our head) because the manager was there basically until our food arrived. Can you imagine if this was our "date night" away from the kids? OMG, I would've been SO UPSET! Anyhow, our food arrived, he stopped by once more (a much abbreviated visit this time) we ate and left. As I said before, the food was great, as usual; the service seemed pretty good, they just have an overbearing manager there an Edgewater. Now, this evening will not stop us from coming to Glory Days, not one bit (we go to the one in Pasadena all the time) but I had to get this off my chest, and hope it is seen by the management staff at this particular restaurant. Give us some breathing room. We come out to eat for good food, good service, a nice atmosphere, and it's nice to spend some time with one another away from the house and the kids. While visiting from California I went to visit this local sports bar. I was blown away by the service of my waitress Kayleen. She informed us of all the great specials and even accommodated my picky families requests with no complaints. I was also very surprised that the manager Jose was stopping by every table taking the time to talk to guests. Wish they had these restaurants in California, keep up the great work! Went here over the weekend for my mom's birthday. The server was very polite, but she had made quite a few mistakes (forgetting to put in family members orders for food... we had to wait another 30 min for theirs to arrive. We placed a few orders for drinks and they did not arrive for quite some time. No biggie.. mistakes happen.) I must mention the manager on site this weekend. Such a polite gentleman with the BEST customer service. He took care of what we needed and came back multiple times to ensure we were satisfied and taken care of. We will be coming back just from the service he provided alone. The food was DELICIOUS. Very satisfied. We were charged incorrectly (a few of us were charged full price when an item was not supposed to be added, then charged again. so we are waiting for the hold to come off our accounts.) Although these mistakes were made, the food quality and the managers hospitality made the wait and confusion completely worth it. I wish I could compliment the wings or the atmosphere but unfortunately this review is a warning to those who prefer not to have to worry about the safety of their credit card! We scheduled curbside pickup on Saturday 2/24/18. My husband picked it up, signed, and headed home. As soon as he got home he realized his credit card wasn't with the receipt he received. He called the restaurant and they immediately said yep, it's here, we found it on the floor (Yes on the floor... The perfect place to find it if a server snatched it and wanted to make sure it looked like it fell out by accident). So he headed right back and picked it up without issue. Until a week later when Chase called us with significant fraudulent charges dating all the way back to, yes you guessed it, Feb 24th. We don't use sketchy online sites and there is no other possible source of the compromise... We've notified Glory Days and can only hope they take it seriously and investigate their servers. Thank goodness it was a credit card and not a debit card! While we won't be held responsible for $500+ in American Eagle and VIPPAREL charges, we do still have to update all of our recurring subscription charges.... Fun fun. I'll find a more trustworthy place to get wings next time. read more
