Coffee rubbed ribs with BBQ bourbon sauce.

We had a awesome time at "Glatt A La Carte" (Read in Benedict Cumberbatch's dragon voice) We where seated promptly at nice and quite corner and the waiters where very attentive and always available and ready to help. The ambiance is very relaxing and nice (Unless if you arrive after 9:30 which at that time it turns into a mad house) and the décor is also nice. For starters we had the Cesar Avocado Salad which was really nothing special.... just some romaine lettuce with sliced avocado, croutons and dressing. and then we took the Guacamole and chips and that was something worth trying, it is served with freshly made mild spicy tortilla chips with guacamole, mixed in with some Jalapeño and on the side a Heirloom tomato and onion salad. The results were amazing! Next we had the Rack of ribs appetizer in two ways, one was coffee rubbed and had a bourbon BBQ sauce on the side and the and the other was a simple BBQ sauce but they where just "Good" nothing special to write home about. For our mains we all decided that although "sharing is caring" we will stick to having our own plates, and thus said I went straight for the G.A.C. Rib chop 40 oz. Oversized bone in rib with crispy seasoned fried onions and a side of Sautéed Broccoli & Roasted Garlic. OMG!!! where should I start? the Stake was done to perfection, with a beautiful Char on the outside and a perfect medium rare on the inside, it was one of the best steaks I have eaten in a longtime.... (A friend that is not kosher tasted a piece of my stake and he said that it was better then the stake he had eaten recently at Peter Luger Steakhouse!) the Sautéed Broccoli & Roasted Garlic was also absolutely delicious with a simple seasoning but yet so delicious as the pieces of roasted garlic added a nice punch of flavor to it. I would definitely recommend Glatt A La Carte for a beautiful night out with great food, ambiance and service.

I love this restaurant! One of my favorite kosher steakhouse. Service is great and food is delicious. The owner is very friendly and walks around greeting everyone and asking of everything is alright. I would recommend getting the beef jambalaya soup. It is absolutely delicious! The beef cigars are also delicious. A must try!!

Great service, food was delicious! Would totally recommend anything me going! Venue not the greatest but again food super tasty, maybe a bit pricey

The restaurant itself has a modern, chic décor with a lively but moderate noise level. It strikes a great balance between energetic and intimate, making it an excellent spot for a romantic date night if that's what you're looking for. Our server, Sam, absolutely made the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions with confidence, and did an amazing job matching our preferences with the perfect food and drink recommendations. Her service was exceptional from beginning to end. We started with the pita and hummus, and you could immediately tell everything was made from scratch. The pita was warm and fresh, the hummus was incredibly smooth and flavorful, and you could truly see and taste the quality. For dinner, we had the burger with the house chips. Both were excellent, and I especially loved the herb mayonnaise that came with the chips. I didn't even realize it was mayonnaise at first because it was so fresh and flavorful! We also shared the Caesar salad, which was delicious. The next morning, we came back for breakfast and ordered the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. It was absolutely decadent and the perfect way to start the day. Between the outstanding food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service, this restaurant exceeded every expectation. A huge shoutout to Sam for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the area to explore more of the menu and, hopefully, have Sam as our server again!

The brunch menu has a lot of delicious looking options, so my friend and I shared several dishes. We had the mushroom hummus, pistachio sticky bun, kale salad, and Israeli breakfast all to share. Service was quick and the staff were all friendly and attentive. I cannot wait to come back for again brunch and to try their dinner menu!

This is not the city for Mexican food, I do not care who tries to sway me. It simply. Does not. Work. The trend continues at this tiny cantina in Dyker Heights. I paid $40 for mediocrity, maybe even a step or two below it. The staff is friendly and cute, and speaking Spanish will get you further, but the food drops off significantly after the promising chips and dip. When I ordered the Queso Fundido, I was looking forward to a sharp Mexican blend with ground chorizo and some extra chips to boot. Instead I got what looked like blended Oaxaca cheese, an onion top, and some very unattractive bits of chorizo that were begging me not to eat them. So I did not. I ate the cheese because the cheese was pleasant, but the fact it comes with flour tortillas does not help its cause. When I ordered the Tortilla Soup, I was hoping for a nice blend of Mexican spices, shredded chicken, avocado, and tortilla strips. While I did get that, I also got bland flavors and a lack of any personality with the soup. In fact, it had a weird, milky, creamy broth that made me feel uncomfortable about finishing it. So I did not. When I ordered the fish tacos, I was expecting a nice piece of fresh fish, plenty of spicy pico, and an aoli to round out the whole thing. The breading for the fish is a tempura breading (bad call), and the fish they use is tilapia (an even worse call). I understand that this is not San Diego, but these two pieces of fish were practically begging me to put them out of their misery so I could send them packing for the Golden State at a later time. I duly complied. As I walked out I continued to wonder. Will this city ever get it right with a cuisine I hold close to my heart? Because right now, the future is looking bleak. At least my food was spared from further torture.

The interior looks like a classic Italian restaurant and service is very formal. It was quite busy for a weekday night. There's valet parking so you don't have to stress about finding street parking nearby. We ordered fried calamari, baked clams, baked vodka penne, and the Fisherman's Platter. We were served bread and some antipasto to start. The calamari was a classic and I loved the sauce -- it had a good spicy kick to it. The baked clams were okay. The Fisherman's Platter is a must and good value with its generous portion of seafood. It can definitely be shared amongst two people. The baked vodka penne was also good but portion was on the smaller side. I would say Michael's is a must try at least once.
