This is that get your ass in the car moment ! Hop on a plane, run , do whatever you have to do to experience the vibes at Glai Baan . Excellent staff and service . We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic and attentive. The music in the restaurant was so good I immediately added Durand Jones to my playlist . The portions are normal , I appreciate that . The rice cakes are delicious. OMGAWD everything was excellent and they've got super spicy upon request too. Prices are slightly higher but it's worth it . Parking is very limited and the place is packed inside and outside . Think , eclectic Thai dive bar and it's definitely a local favorite. Even the front door is hidden .. giving it a speakeasy feel . Highly recommend, will absolutely be back !
I've been wanting to try this place for sooooo long. I'm so glad I was able to finally get in and try it. We ordered the steak salad and dumplings for an appetizer. Both were sooo good and had so much flavor. For my entree I ordered the chicken pad Thai. That was so delicious. I've never had Thai food and I fear I have been missing out. The service was great and welcoming. It's very small and homey inside. We also ordered two drinks, can't remember the names but they were flavorful. I'll be back!
We ordered fried chicken wings as an appetizer, Pad Thai, and Panang curry. The wings were a bit dry and bland, needed to pair with the sauce on the side, which was a little tangy and spicy. The pad thai and panang curry with braised beef were great, but some pieces of beef wasn't tender. The portion was on the smaller side, considering about their price, they are higher than most of the Thai restaurants in Phoenix. We also had a mango sticky rice as a dessert, it wasn't too sweet and the coconut milk flavor was good too. Overall, food was good, service was ok, the decoration inside was authentic. Bu if you needed to wait for 30 mins+ to have a seat in this restaurant, I think you could pass it.
If you're in a mood for some good Thai. This is the place to stop. Park. And grub. Lovely seating area...and don't be tricked by the doors. There is only one entrance....lol Tip top service. Delicious food. Fast and simple. I had a craving for some sticky rice and wings which came out O so yummy... Thank you Glai Baan!!!! I will be back for sure...
Came here without a reservation on a weeknight and got lucky with a short wait time. All of the staff is so nice and inviting. We sat inside and ordered the mussels to start. I ordered the green curry special which she recommended because I like spice. My bf got the pad thai and it was super delicious. This place is a little on the pricier side but def some of the best thai food i've had in AZ. Can't wait to come again
There were 4 of us. Our server, Kassiddi, was fantastic, super attentive, knowledgable, helpful, friendly, we couldn't have asked for better, she was awesome. The ambience is super comfortable, easy, casual. But, it's *super* loud, like really, really loud. The 4 of us had to literally scream, top of our lungs, to hear each other, and these aren't big tables, it's tight in there, so you're very close together. We left with sore throats from yelling. It felt like "a relief" when we stepped out front. After 2 hours sitting in the wooden seats, my butt was also relieved to be getting up. Parking is ridiculous, it's a very thin one way driveway with *no way to turn around* when you reach the end - back it up! Super tiny parking lot. Food: the food was very good. We ordered 6-8 things for the 4 of us because all items are pretty small. Top section of the menu are called smaller items. They were. Items on the bottom section are bigger, but not big. For perspective, when the 4 of us split an item from the bottom "entree section" we each got 2-3 bites/forks-full. So a full entree for one person is 8-12 bites. All items tasted very good, clearly high quality, well curated and definitely unique to this restaurant. The steamed white rice was hot, steamy, moist and sticky, really good. The Panang Chicken was really good, different, creamy, dark, rich and smokey. I added pictures of the menu, inside, patio, bar and a few food items so you can see for yourself. Would I go back? I would because the service was great, visual atmosphere was comfortable, and food was high quality, but turning the music volume down at least 1/2 way from what we had would go a long way,... a looooong way, seriously. Increasing the portion size of menu entrees would also be an improvement since they're about the same price as larger portions elsewhere. And throw some cushions on those inside wooden benches, our butts will thank you. Overall this was a good first visit and I'd try Glai Baan again, hoping for the same great service, quality food and updates to the other items.
Glai Baan is the perfect lively date spot in Phoenix with very fresh and bright flavors. The menu is on the smaller side but you can tell that is a quality over quantity type of joint. The staff here are so kind it really made the experience of having to wait a bit so much better! The gentleman at the front door recommended a wine bar around the corner to wait at after we got on the list, which was a cute divey spot. The food was delicious, we loved the papaya salad so much, there were so many flavors of spicy and tangy, and the papaya itself was very refreshing. We had the Pad kee mao and Panang curry which were also delicious. For the chicken pad kee mao we requested it to be gluten free and they gave us the same rice noodles as the Pad Thai and a slightly different sauce which was so darn good! The chicken was very tender. When the Panang curry said it came with beef, I didn't know what to think but after a single bite I was a huge fan! So many flavors hit you at once and the beef was so incredible, it was falling part. I also ordered the savory cocktail option (I can't remember the name) which had cucumber vodka, fish sauce, mint, onion, and some other goodies, and wow! It changed my life. Highly highly recommend. Overall would definitely come back here, we were a walk in on a Saturday night and had an hour and a half wait to get in.
Amazing as always! Highly rec making a res or coming 15min before they open! Service is always really good but the food blows it out of the water!
WTH - what the heck. How could this be my 1st time here and found out it is food crack. Ok I'll get to that in a minute. It reminds me of a Thai food Tapas restaurant in which I want to give them all my coins to sample more dishes. The music is so perfect bobbing my head to the music. The atmosphere has me needing a lounge chair with ottoman to kick my feet back. 2 drinks the sun shower & a Thai ice tea both excellent. I enjoyed the patio which is gorgeous. The inside and patio mad cute & quaint. The food all 5 stars. My top favorite the dumplings & glass noodle shrimp, pork belly special. The service and customer service walking in the door welcoming and friendly. My server Bank (yes I verified that is his name) was sweet and awesome. Fluffy Grandma Recommends.
Came to Glai Baan for lunch. Service was super friendly and expedient. The dining room quickly filled up quickly and the server came over and said there was a special that was not on menu. It was a Japanese eggplant dish with minced pork and shrimp along with basil, lemongrass, garlic and onions. I'm glad we ordered this special, it was fantastic. We also ordered the grilled chicken, and Thai pork dumplings which were equally very tasty. The lunch ended with the Penang curry which was moderately spiced. I can eat spicy so some might find the curry a little too spicy. The entire place was very quaint with a small patio available. The main door was a little tricky to find as it's covered by vines and all you see is the door handle. Overall, great Thai food and and attentive service. Thank you.
This little spot might not look like much from the outside, but wow - Glai Baan has the some of the best thai food you'll find in Arizona! The staff is super friendly, and the food is always on point. Everything tastes amazing and you can tell they use really fresh ingredients. You've gotta try the crab or mackerel fried rice. And if you're looking to have some fun, grab a Phuket bucket with M-150. Parking can be a bit difficult to find but you can park on the residential street behind the restaurant.
The Internet loves Glai Baan which is precisely how I found myself here. Ngl, the reservation system is pretty invested - you call, leave the details of your desired reservation, and someone will call you back with some options. But do yourself a favor and make a resy otherwise you'll have to wait 1+ hours. The vibes were vibing and the playlist was banging. If you're an old person like me, I'd suggest sitting on the patio where it's not quite so loud lol. Of all the things we ordered, I liked the kanom jeep ($12) best. These are like shu mai - pork dumplings with scallions, ginger - but distinctly Thai in flavor. They tasted familiar, but not, and a really fun way to start the meal. We also shared the following: -larb moo ($13): minced pork, shallots, herbs, toasted rice + lime dressing -pad kee mao ($20): wide rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, mushroom, bamboo shoots, Thai basil + egg Both were very good versions of dishes I typically order from Thai restaurants. I do wish we ventured outside our comfort zones and tried something a little more off beat, but that can be saved for next time. While the meal was great, there were subtle nuisances that could have been better. The kanom jeep was room temp and could have used a little more heating. And the mango in the mango sticky rice was super not ripe. In any case, I love that Glai Baan exists where she lives. It's definitely worth a visit.

Hands down one of my favorite if not, absolute favorite Thai restaurants in the country! Everything is always so perfectly seasoned, fresh and authentic. Will our WONDERFUL server selected all our dishes and his customer service took it over the top. I love the courtyard, although the dining room is very cozy and festive as well. Cannot wait to return again and again!!! What an unforgettable experience, with a mini rainbow during dessert read more
YALL when I tell you this is easily the BEST Thai restaurant in Phoenix! Glai Baan definitely lives up to its hype. 1) We ordered the panang curry, pad thai, salted crab papaya salad, grub ma cocktail, and thai tea. Life changing. The panang curry was the star of the show--the beef was soooo tender and the flavor was better than any other panang I've ever had. The pad thai was a larger serving, also delicious and just the right amount of tangy and sweet. The salted crab papaya salad was refreshing, sweet & salty (for any fellow Filipinos it was similar to eating green mango and bagoong). And all the cocktails had Asian inspired flavors, mine was a pandan & butterfly pea drink. Two entrees and an appetizer were just the right amount of food for 2 people, especially with the larger pad thai. It also wasn't terribly expensive considering the quality of the food, about $12-15 for an appetizer and $18-20 per entree, I need to go back and try more! 2) Reservations are an absolute must or else you WILL wait up to 2 hours for a table during dinner rush. Their answering service will tell you how far out they are booking, usually 2-3 weeks. You just need to leave your name/party info and someone will call you back the next day to find a date that works. The place is somewhat small and it gets very busy. Nice thing is you can order drinks from the bar while you are waiting to be seated. They offer bar, indoor, and outdoor seating. If the weather is nice, I would definitely recommend sitting outside in their cute little patio. Parking is also limited, but neighborhood street parking is available behind the restaurant just a quick walk away. The service was great and servers are super nice! read more
We recently spent a few days in Phoenix and decided to visit this place again. The space is small and there's always a wait, but it's totally worth it. They take pride in preparing their drinks and dishes. The menu selection is small, which is great because you know they've mastered each item. We ordered the fried chicken, pork skewers, and pork dumplings. The fried chicken was crunchy with juicy meat inside, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. The pork skewers were tender and delicious, and the dumplings were just as good. We really enjoyed the pad thai, but my ultimate favorite was the braised beef panang curry. We'll definitely be back every time we're in town. read more

This Thai food was so yummy! I had the Pad Thai & fried rice as my main dishes but go to try some of my friends dishes and everything was amazing. Will definitely be ordering the "Kao soi" next time. It's a small restaurant but worth the wait. Parking is a struggle but honestly the drinks were good so I would just Uber! (: read more

You Have to Try Glai Baan! I just had to share my experience at Glai Baan because it never fails to satisfy my appetite! While parking can be a bit of a nightmare, I assure you it's well worth it. If you're planning to go on a Friday or weekend evening, make sure to make a reservation--it gets busy fast! I've learned that going for lunch and sitting at the bar is a fantastic way to avoid the rush. During my last visit, I ordered the Peek Gai Tod (chicken wings), Mackerel fried rice, and enjoyed a refreshing Roselle drink. The service was good, and the atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience. You won't regret checking it out! read more
Very cool building, the vibes were cozy. The table of 4 I was with had an assortment of many drinks, they were all very tasty, but honestly my favorite drink was the Thai tea. I'm a sucker for a sweet drink. I ended up getting two of them. We also tried quite a few appetizers, the dumplings, skewers, and Thai papaya salad. All three were good, but the skewers were extra tasty. We also ordered 3 entrees and shared. The Padthai, the Penang Cury, and the Kapro gai kai dao. Once again all three were good, but the Penang Cury won the day. Even as someone who always gets Padthai, I will get the Penang Cury when I go again. It was delicious. Finally we ended the meal with the mango sticky rice and a fluffy bread with custard dessert. Both were light and sweet. A wonderful end to a great meal. read more

As a huge Thai food lover, I had to try this place out. I got there around 6pm on a Tuesday, and there was over an hour wait. But the smells wafting through the air as well as the yummy looking dishes being served to the restaurant patrons made my mouth water so much I had no choice but to wait. We actually waited at the cute wine bar, Rewind, and they walkie-talkie the bartender there to let you know your table is ready, so it was super convenient. We also definitely waited less than an hour too, so that was exciting. Onto the food! We started with the Yum woon sen. For our entrees, we got the Kao soi and the Kapro gai kai dao. The Yum woon sen was so light, fragrant, and herby. It was a great way to start the meal. I am a huge Kao soi fan and this one did not disappoint. The curry was thick and flavorful with a little bit of heat. The noodles and chicken were cooked to perfection. It is hard for me to find a Kao soi I like and this was definitely one of my favorites. The Kapro gai kai dao was a suggestion from the waitress to really balance the noodle and rice dishes, but she also said it was a staff favorite. I totally understand the reason why-- it was so delicious. I have never had anything like this and I'm sad it took me so long in life to have something like this. The chicken had this flavoring/ marinade that was light, sweet, and flavorful. I loved the addition of a fried egg on top too to make things creamier. Just wow. Overall, this meal was so worth the hype and wait. All of the dishes had incredible and unique flavor profiles-- we were seriously licking all of the plates. Also the staff was so friendly and helpful especially with helping us pick out our entrees if you are not familiar with the menu items. I'd highly recommend checking this place out, it truly is a hidden gem. read more
I will be dreaming of my meal here for weeks to come! Seriously, everything was so delicious. We started with the Kanom Jeeb, which was so crispy and delicious that we each decided on crispy pork as our protein in our Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. The pad Thai was really good, but the pad kee mao blew me away! I could not stop eating this dish!! Since everything was so amazing, we couldn't help ordering dessert! The coconut custard with the warm bread was the perfect way to end our incredible meal. We went for lunch and the outdoor seating was full, but there was still lots of seating available indoors! I can imagine they are packed at night. read more

Parking is a bit of a pain but the food and cocktails are totally worth it!! The restaurant and patio have a great vibe and super comfortable in a cozy way. The drink menu is very fun and the food we tried was all good. The menu is a little small (not in a bad way) but if you have any dietary restrictions I'd take a look first because you might have a hard time finding something. Definitely recommend ending your meal with the mango sticky rice! read more
The hype about this place is more than well deserved. After having this place marked as "want to go" for several years, we finally visited tonight! It took us a bit to get reservations, but the wait was worth it. Upon entry to leaving, the staff and service were all top notch and incredible! Lots of eye contact, smiles and rare attention to detail. A spoon fell off our table and within moments a staff member appeared out of nowhere and replaced it without us requesting it. The service of food was surprising speedy! Our food and drinks both came out quickly! The atmosphere is so fricken cute and cozy, yet a tad noisy. Looked like they had a cute patio for cooler months as well. Food wise, omg yum! We each got different cocktails, split 2 appetizers and then tried 3 different entrees, one being a repeat of another order. We asked the waiter for his recommendations and ordered what he suggested for everything - it was all incredible and we look forward to returning again! read more

Food quality is good but waiting is ridiculous... waited for almost 2 hours. Also, can't wait in the restaurant, you will have to wait outside or goto the bar nearby and give your name so when the table is ready they will notify you. Ambiance is so so. It's not worth waiting for 2 hours. Parking is also a mess. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
I came here last night and it was delicious! Although it was very busy as usual. We arrived around 5pm and were seated at 7pm. I wish we could have been sat sooner, but we had fun waiting at Rewined. My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees that we shared. We enjoyed everything, especially the special which had eggplant, pork, shrimp and egg in it. I love the son in law egg in the Ka Na Moo Grob. We sat outside and it was great since it was such a beautiful night. If you enjoy Thai food, add Glai Baan to your list. read more

Finally got to try this spot after it being on my list for so long! We arrived at 5 on a Friday and it was an hour wait for 2 - luckily they recommended us walking next door to a local bar for a drink while we waited and they called the bar to say when our table was ready - handy wait system! Service was super friendly both at the door and our waitress. We got the shrimp pad Thai, crab fried rice with added pork belly, and pork dumplings - all delicious! Portions felt just right as well. Top quality food - yum! My husband also enjoyed a Thai beer. We will be back, but likely will make a ressy well in advance! read more

A Flavor-Packed Thai Gem - Small Spot, Big Taste! This place is such a fun little find! Super compact and cozy, but don't let the size fool you--the food here is bursting with authentic Thai flavor and the vibes are great. Service was friendly, everything was reasonably priced, and every bite was a hit! Here's what we tried: * Drunken Noodles - My personal favorite! Packed with bold flavor, Thai basil, and that perfect level of Thai-style spicy heat. If you love spice, this one's a must. * Crispy Rice Cakes - A standout dish! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with a rich, savory sauce over bean sprouts. So satisfying. * Fried Rice Special - This was a nightly special and absolutely delicious. Made with pork belly, fresh herbs, and a grilled lime for that extra pop of flavor. * Siu Mai Dumplings - Juicy, garlicky, and comforting. Comes with dipping sauce and hits all the right notes. * Fried Chicken Wings - Crispy, flavorful, and served with a spicy dipping sauce. Great shareable plate. * Mango Sticky Rice - Classic and done right. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing--the perfect ending. And the cocktails? SO good. We tried a few, but the Pandan one stole the show--light, aromatic, and just a touch of sweetness. The butterfly pea flower cocktail was also beautiful and delicious. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. A hidden gem if you're craving Thai with flavor, spice, and great energy. read more

Holy moly, BEST THAI FOOD I'VE EVER HAD! (and I've been around Thailand so this says a lot to me atleast). This place is small and intimate but it's so cute and quaint. I've always had luck with parking here, even during incredibly busy dinner times. The waitstaff have always been nice, welcoming, and accomodating. The back patio is adorably decorated, making it perfect for a nice dinner date or an evening with friends or family. Their specials are always great, but they change regularly so if you fall in love with one, it might not be on the menu next time :( The drinks are strong and tasty. I've ordered "Sunshowers" and "Roselle". Both are great, but as someone who prefers sweeter drinks, I favored Sunshowers. For non-alcoholic options, the thai tea is good! not too sweet but delicious. As for food, dear lord, again the best thai food i've ever had. Even common dishes I've tried elsewhere just hits different here. I highly recommend the Panang curry and the Kaproa gai kai dao, and dishes from their specials even they are not on the menu (Seafood Tom Yum and Bamee Hang). I'm from LA but I would definitely drive 5+ hours for this restuarant. They need to open a location in LA! Basically, come try this place out.. its dangerously good cause you'll leave with a post Glai Baan high, constantly thinking of how amazing the food is. I promise you won't regret it! read more
Amazing food and ambiance! I had this place bookmarked on yelp for awhile and finally decided to try it for dinner. I went around 830 and it was still pretty packed even though it closes at 930. The front door was pretty hard to find. It's covered by foliage and it was pretty dark but I just tried every door and eventually got inside lol. The outdoor area looks so nice and covered by string lights and trees. It looked like a garden in someone's backyard. Unfortunately they were completely full and weren't taking any more walkins for outside. We got a booth inside and I had thai tea, Tom yum moo soup which I exchanged the rice noodles for the egg noodles as recommended which I'm so glad I did. It was a huge bowl of soup that I couldn't finish and I had lots of leftovers. For appetizers we got the rice cake, steamed pork dumplings which they said were the most popular appetizer for good reason because those were freaking good and we also got the pork skewers which were also my favorite. I don't usually like rice cakes but my friend ordered it and I'm so glad she did because that was delicious! I highly recommend going early here. The place gets packed and they're walk in only. They said they're only open 4-930pm on Saturdays and there's already a line outside when they open. read more
I am a big fan when I can have dope days, chill nights, good company, and mellow vibes. Came to Glai Baan with the family tribe and such a cozy, romantic, and charming little gem tucked in central Phoenix. Honestly, couldn't bear to check out and leave my seat and will be back on my next trip back to my old stomping grounds. Parking is a zoo much like the wait list. It's no surprise since GB is pretty spectacular and a crowd favorite. Ambiance is terrific and staff incredible. We preferred or opted to sit at the bar. For starters,if you are dining here, you're thirsty from the desert heat. The Laab sided drink has an Asian staple ingredient but probably such a tasteful blend of vodka and fish sauce. If you aren't adventurous or daring, try the Siamese sling or Temple T, both refreshing! I saw there was a cocktail called Roselle served in the cutest bowl and that's on my radar for next time. While I posted photos of the cocktails, we did opt to eat as well. Can't stop raving about the peek gai tod (wings) paired with the salted crab papaya salad (can you do Thai without ordering this?!?!!!) and the yum het tod (fried oyster mushrooms). Larb moo is basically minced pork with the most amazing shallot and lime dressing. Flavors are balanced without overpowering spice or too unique flavors to ambush the timid. It was great to savor street food after I had just returned from Phuket. No hurries, no worries... just relish being sanuk. Thank you Glai Baan for transporting me back to my homeland and for being a piece of paradise in Arizona. read more
I cannot believe I've gone this long without doing a review for Glai Baan, not that they need it because they stay busy. Glai Baan is definitely my go to when I want GREAT tasting authentic Thai food. This is also where I take EVERYONE who hasn't been here yet. This is definitely a hidden gem here in Phoenix. The service is always great, music is great, the overall atmosphere just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside!!! Some of the foods I've tried and recommend: Pad Thai - This is my go to every time, when I think I'm going to try something different, I cave and just go straight for the Pad Thai. I've had it with both chicken and Shrimp. Can't go wrong with either, both proteins are good. You can choose your spice level between 1 -5. The dishes automatically come medium (3), I do a 4 spice level. Pork Dumplings - this is always a must appetizer. This is good to get when you want to have something with a salty taste, but not too salty of course Crispy Wings - This too is a must app. I get them fried extra crispy. These are better than any fried chicken from any chicken restaurant Pork and Cabbage - This pretty good as well. Pork Skewers - same as the dumplings, highly recommend if you're wanting something salty. One thing I forgot to mention about the service, this is not like your traditional restaurant, meaning the food comes out as it's ready, which could not be all at once. read more

4.5/5 I've had this restaurant in my bookmark list forever. When we had a free night to ourselves I decided to go ahead and make reservations for dinner. I booked two weeks in advance and for a table of 2 the only times available when I called were for 4:30 and 7:30 on a Friday. When we got here there really wasn't any parking available with the limited number of spots and navigating along the narrow lot is quite a pain. I think if we dine here again we'll forgo even trying to find a spot at the restaurant and will park on the street along the residential area next to the restaurant. The interior is cozy and dark and it gets loud really quickly as it seems to be quite packed no matter what time you're here. All the dishes we had were delicious. Portions were a little smaller than I had thought but you could tell the quality was there. The best pleasant surprise of the night was the khao soi. I've had this dish at other restaurants in the valley and this is by far the best version I've had. The curry broth was just the right balance of flavors. In other versions I've tried the broth has been so overwhelmingly sweet or the coconut milk overpowers the entire dish. We finished our meal with some soft buns and coconut milk dipping sauce. While I enjoyed this dessert I thought it was the only dish of the night that was overpriced for what we got, at $10. Details: - Most dishes are from the Isan region (NE), where they like their food spicy! - Most dishes are meant to be shared - No MSG used in dishes - Vegetable and meat products sourced locally when possible - Closed Sunday and Monday - Open for lunch Tues- Fri, open for dinner Tues-Saturday - Reservations strongly recommended for indoor seating - Patio seating is first come, first served read more

Best Thai food in the valley. Glai Baan is serving up street style Thai dishes in an environment that feels like you're right at home. The flavors were amazing from start to finish. Every dish felt unique, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and the taste. The drinks were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal, making the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, excellent service. We went for late lunch and were seated right away, but were completely full by the time we left. I'll definitely be coming back! Best pad Thai I have ever had! This place is a super cute restaurant specializing in excellent Thai food. We were sat outside on Valentine's Day and it was lovely -- there are trees and lights and overall it is a nice little seating area. We started off with a few cocktails and the pork dumplings. The drinks are very unique and presentation is excellent. The dumplings were steaming hot and served with a yummy brown sauce for dipping. Personally, I'm not a pork person but my boyfriend enjoyed them. For our entrees, we ordered pad Thai and this ground chicken dish wish white rice and a fried egg. Both dishes were excellent and full of flavor! For dessert, we were served a coconut cream for dipping bread. That was a pretty anticlimactic end to our evening here (for some reason we thought we were getting sticky rice) but the coconut cream is divine! I will absolutely be back. read more
Stopped by here on our way home from a road trip, thanks to our IG algorithm knowing what we like. FOOD: Started with the pork skewers which were grilled well and very delicious. I definitely recommend getting them. Next up chicken wings. These wings came out fresh and crispy. Paired with the sauce and the garlic chips, and you've got fried wings bliss. For entrees I ordered the ka na moo grob and my partner ordered the Tom yum soup. My partner said the soup was delicious and flavorful. My dish was exactly what I wanted. Crispy pork, the right amount of spice and saltiness. I ate it up. Also the egg?! So good. Never had an egg cooked like that before. SERVICE: We sat at one of the small tables near the bar so we were served by the bar tender who, despite being busy chatting up the folks at the bar, was very attentive and continued to check on us throughout the meal and removed plates as we ate. The host at the door was very nice, greeted us the moment we walked in, and sat us very quickly. It was a little after lunch but was clearly still busy. AMBIANCE: It's a small place but it's cozy. There is a patio area as well which I didn't get to see. A little cramped in the bar area but it was still nice. Pretty loud in that area as well but we were still able to hear each other. PARKING: Small! But there is parking next door and in the neighborhood area behind the restaurant. OVERALL: 5/5. So good. Portions were good. Prices, to me, were reasonable for how good the food was. Loved this restaurant. read more

I thought I knew good Thai food until I came here. Hands down some of the best Thai I've ever had. We waited an hour and a half and I can tell you it was well worth it. Very cool vibe with great music and ambiance. We had the pork dumplings, pad Thai with crispy pork belly, mackerel fried rice, and Panang curry. Each dish was so unique and flavorful. In my opinion, the Panang stole the show. It's rare you leave a restaurant thinking you went 100% on all the dishes you ordered and certainly felt that here. Highly recommend all of them - you won't be disappointed! read more

Was finally able to check out this spot after months of looking at drool worthy instagram photos. Arrived at 4:30 on a Tuesday and was able to get seated near the bar. Had delicious dumplings and a drink--definitely get one if you drink, they're incredible. Service was friendly and caring and fried rice was unbeat. Can't wait to go back! read more

This hole in the wall place was super cute. It was hard to find the door to go inside since it is covered in greenery. But once inside we were warmly greeted and sat immediately. Dishes ordered: -pork dumplings-9/10 super tasty -Kao Tom soup -8/10 a little too much rice for my liking but the broth tasted great -Panang curry-10/10 beef was so tender, loved the curry sauce -pad kee mao-10/10 delish! Great flavors, I loved the sauce What I loved about this place is that everything came out very hot(temperature wise). It was evident it came straight from the kitchen. Something I wish all restaurants did as well as this one. The food was flavorful & fresh and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently. I plan to definitely come back. read more

Are there any more vegan options I'm only seeing the chive rice cake on the menu?
Yes! We asked our waitress and she was able to tell us what could be make vegan. The fried mushrooms were vegan and amazing, the rice cakes were vegan, and then I got the vegan drunken noodles for my meal, I can't remember the exact name but they…
Are they open Christmas day?
Do they take reservations?
Yes...for parties of 5 or more. It is on their website. If you have less than 5, just put in your name and walk around the corner to Rewind Bar...Have a few drinks there and just check in from time to time for when your table is ready.
Any vegan options?
Yes, I'm vegan and they have accommodated with any of the dishes I have requested. Be sure to specify that you do not want fish or oyster sauce and you're good to go!
