Avoid Givenchy at all costs. Their return policy is outrageous -- basically no returns allowed, even if you never leave the store. At best, they'll offer store credit after making you beg for it. I went in to buy a pair of shoes, expecting to spend around $1,500. I didn't realize the color I chose was full price, and only saw I was charged nearly $3,000 after my card was swiped. I asked them to void the transaction immediately -- I hadn't even left the counter -- and they refused. To make it worse, a staff member named Lucas mocked me to my husband after I left because I was on the verge of tears by this point , saying I shouldn't be trusted with a credit card and made degrading remarks about me. Completely unprofessional and humiliating. Thankfully, since I never even left the store, I'm now disputing the charge through my credit card company. I've never had this kind of experience at luxury retailers like Chanel, Dior, or YSL. Now I see why this boutique is always empty and has so many bad reviews. Believe them. read more

I came here to look at the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit collection before moving across the country. (As it released to boutiques after Christmas and before New Year's Day.) It is located across from Celine on the second floor of the main building of South Coast Plaza. The boutique is small but they have a good offering of women's and accessories in the front, and men's apparel and accessories in the back room. When I went, they seemed to have almost all of the pieces from the Oswald collection available, with the exception of some smaller items. (Ex. Baseball cap, water bottle, etc.) Initially I browsed around without the assistance of a sales associate, and eventually I approached one of the gals who stopped her conversation with her colleague to assist me. She looked for the item I was looking for, a keychain in the shape of Oswald, and located one in the back. She was helpful in answering my questions for the piece and even told me honestly that if I was concerned about keeping the piece, it was best if I bought it online and returned it, as the store doesn't do refunds. She gave me her number in case I had further inquiries, including one for the hat from the same collection. Prices are high but they're not quite as expensive as Chanel or Dior. I do suspect over time they will get to that point as the brand looks to hire more celebrities to promote their items, such as Korean girl group aespa. On June 30, I wanted to go into the store to purchase a pair of sandals, as I walked in I was greeted by this nice gentleman, and than quickly after a female that was working at around 3pm chimed in and said there was no dogs allowed and that it would have to wait outside with my boyfriend, as I said he was a service dog she did not care? She said south coast has a policy that there isn't dogs allowed??? UH half the mall had dogs in it lady, and mine is a service dog??? If anything were to happen to me in that store it would have been on her because the dog is my life line. When I first started buying designer items a few years ago, I came into this store. I only had one Gucci bag at the time. I didn't know much about Givenchy or anything designer really. When i first came to the store i looked really bummy and not put together, but Judy helped me out and treated me like a normal person. I was pleased to see that she didn't judge me for how i looked. She was really kind and helped me pick out a few items for my boyfriend anniversary gift and a little bit for me too lol. After that day I have came back many times. She knows me and my preferences so well. She will text me when there's upcoming releases and personally picks out things she knows I will like. She has helped style me throughout the years, especially when it came to important social events. Looking at my collection now, about 80% of it is all Givenchy. It's not because I like the brand, it's because I like Judy. My boyfriend has even agreed that we wouldn't have this much Givenchy stuff if it wasn't because we liked Judy so much. Her, and her store has always given us the most outstanding service. Beware of buying from Givenchy in store. Once you buy from there, there's no way to return something if you end up not liking it or if it's a wrong size (as other reviews have mentioned). I called the store to see if they had a certain bag in stock, and the associate said yes. She proceeded to send me an invoice via email so I can pay online and just pick it up in store. By the time I got to the store, it was wrapped nicely in a box and bagged. I purchased this bag as a birthday gift for my mom, but she ended up not liking the quality of the bag. She tried exchanging it for another bag which she later realized she also did not the quality of it. She would have liked to return it, but was told that they do not do returns. I looked online and it states that a product can be returned within 30 days of the receipt date. I was just told that this only applies to purchases made online. BEWARE OF BUYING AT GIVENCHY! Before visiting this Givenchy boutique, my girlfriend and I had purchased the brand from department stores like Nordstrom and Saks many times. After coming here and getting personalized service from the staff here, it has been my go-to for Givenchy over department stores even if I have high status with department stores that offer rewards back. All the staff are kind but this review is mostly in part due to Simi and Sam who work here. Simi is our sales person and Sam is usually the manager on-site when we shop; definitely look for one of them if you need anything. Simi specifically has gone out of her way to make shopping here seamless and has gone above and beyond expectations for customer service, even offering to do international shipping for us at her own time and expense outside store hours when the store was unable to. My girlfriend and I have gotten everything from backpack bag, hats, purses, shirts, jackets from Simi and can't recommend her enough, she definitely adds a positive impact to the shopping experience at Givenchy. I went into givenchy earlier this week tried a pair of black slides which I remember sizing up because I like a big fit. Only wearing them at home realizing it was a size down which I didn't like . When in today hoping to be able to exchange the supervisor (Asian lady ) who had helped me earlier this week who was the one who gave me the wrong size said she couldn't exchanged because I had worn them . I don't walk out the store expecting to get the wrong size obviously I got home to putting them on . I said okay I understand it's your company policy but now this was on you . She was the one who sold me the wrong size . As a manager myself she didn't want even try continuously said she couldn't take them . I know she could have done more for me . Where do I begin. My boyfriend bought me givenchy shoes for my birthday and they didn't have my size online so we had to go to this store which is an hour and a half away from home. They did not allow us to try them on in store, and when I got home I realized they were way too small, their slides run small FYI. So my boyfriend went back there to get the next size up and they didn't have that size either...seriously? So they ordered them online while he was there. My boyfriend offered to just give the small ones back to her because they are no use to me, she told him to hold onto them. We just went to pick up the new pair and the lady, Judy P. said she cannot accept them back, because there is wear. We told her I didn't wear them besides the first day I tried them on, and she even saw them after that and said they were ok. She refused to listen, so we left there with the small shoes. I cannot thank Patrick and Ramon enough. I purchased a skirt from Europe and after repair, the skirt was still defective. Patrick worked with the Paris office and consistently followed up.
