Chicken omelet with wheat toast. A filling breakfast at a cheap price.

This place is the legit small-town classic dinor, along with the original architectural charm that comes from those old small almost railroad car-shaped buildings that only add to the charm and make your meal better. Full standard menu for both breakfast and lunch classics, all done perfectly and for a dinor, surprisingly not too greasy! My favorite is the grilled chicken omelette. It's packed with chicken (a nice change for breakfast) and red peppers in addition to plenty of cheese, onions, and the fluffiest eggs you've ever encountered. Service is always kind and efficient so there's no reason not to be a repeat customer.

Love this little gem. Fresher baked goodies. Excellent coffee with option to buy the beans (and teas). Menu is high quality and family friendly. The bacon was a little over cooked. The French toast, pancakes and breakfast bowl were perfectly seasoned, flavored and fluffiness. Thanks for doing your hard work and keeping things fresh.

Came here on the way to Erie but we should have kept going place was not busy at all but still took someone 10 min to get us menus and drinks and another 10 min to take out order. I got a omelette I cut into it and the eggs were runny and not cooked the potatoes were half raw so to sum it up freaking slow service and food

Great little dinor! A must if you love fantastic food and a historic atmosphere. Waitress is sweet and always ready to refill your drink when you're low. The prices are awesome and the food is wonderful! Will definitely be back again next time I'm in town! So worth checking out.

A regular for the old timers in Girard, this cafe offers your basic home town breakfast and lunch. Pancakes, omelets, hash brows, biscuits and gravy, for lunch pot roast, meatloaf, pastrami sandwich and Rubens. If your passing through Girard and you want a quick easy home cooked meal, this is definitely a great option. The diner is small, and the ceilings are short, but the service is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the patrons are friendly. When you walk in the door, it appears that half of the diner used to be an old rail car, but I'm not sure if it is or not. There is a long bar service with stools, for quick service right off the grill. The other half is a small dining are with about 6 tables and waitress service. We have dined here twice and have never left hungry or broke. Definitely a recommendation for small town diners in PA.

Great place for people watching!nice vibe here! I ordered liver and onions!

Great Service, cute menu (looks like a newspaper), original everything dating back to the 20's (last century). I had LIVER AND ONIONS--I know, not everyone's first choice, but I loved it. It was cooked well with a piece of bacon on top and the onions were perfect. I will be back!

Great food. Nice to go to an old school dinor. I'm happy places like this still exist and hope it continues to be supported.

The best place to have a genuine diner experience. Their eggs and home fries are the best.

This maybe biased because I'm from Girard but this place is home. The food, service, and milkshakes are always excellent.
