Wings were really great! Staff was friendly and pleasant. I will definitely go back. Wish they would have had Miller Lite on draft.

Great menu and service. Have daily specials which help keep the menu fresh. Feel like a regular even if you are not.

Horrible Management!! Went out for a smoke, and when I came back in they said I was cut off, even though I had only had a couple drinks.

Two45 Waterfront Grille fails to impress…read more.. Accidental reservation on my part! My parents and sister live in Erie and I visited recently and I had lunch nearby and it was great. I didn't think too much into the reservation but when I showed up it was definitely not the place I recall (now known as Pier 6) but I recall looking at photos that it would be worth checking it out. We were promptly seated and greeted by the waitress. The lunch menu is brief with a few items in each section of Apps, salads, sandwiches and plates. We opted for the calamari as we heard it was a good app to start with. At the same time we ordered drinks which consisted of coffee, Expresso martini and the aperol spritz. The calamari came out and it was a good amount. However, they were very small and it was dry. We got the perch sandwich and it came out with an enormous amount of shoe string fries which imo are the worse type as they are typically over fried and so were these. Frying a good filet of fish is usually a bad idea and this sandwich would be better served to be grilled when your fries are fried and the calamari is fried too. Service was slow for being an empty restaurant. Note: we had a 4 year old with us and the key is to always rush their food asap so they stay content. Since we waited a bunch of time, we had some ancy people at the table after 1 hour 45 minute lunch where the room was essentially empty. Much improvement can be had otherwise spend your dollars at Pier 6 for a much better experience.

Neat and cozy atmosphere. A bit pricey for Erie. The short rib was pieces of meat on the potatoes…read moreand reminded me of Top Round as opposed to short rib. When I order short rib, I expect an actual short rib on the plate. Other than that, the experience was good. Server Josh was prompt and personable. Beer was in a deceiving small glass for tap beer. Prices reminiscent of PGH or Cincinnati, not small town Erie. Mac and cheese was good. I couldn't eat the app burgers due to aioli, and no offer to bring one free of aioli. I love the atmosphere, but very disappointed in my short rib dish. Asked for any reduction sauce instead of aioli and nothing was possible (I don't consider this a big ask).

Hidden in plain sight…read more I've passed this place more than 50 times during my visits to Erie and never even blinked. Well that is until last week. I came here for an early dinner and my oh my I have got to pay more attention. Go in, push the book case and plan to stay awhile! Cocktails outstanding, appetizers were plentiful, the entree was just ok, vibes were everything. I started with the hibiscus spritzer which was a little bit on the sweet side for me but very refreshing. The whipped feta plate (I cannot recalled the exact name) with a very large portion with whipped feta, pita bread, rye crisps and sweet peppers which was healthy and refreshing. For an entree we decided to share the short ribs. It was a very large portion that came with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots. The temperature was off like it wasn't fresh, it wasn't hot the short rib was dry the carrots were hots, the potatoes lukewarm, the plate hot, all very odd. I didn't care for it so I'm glad we shared it. My friend enjoyed it I didn't say anything. For dessert (there is no menu so they share the specials verbally) We selected what we were told was a strawberry cheesecake. It was not cheesecake. It was definitely a shortbreak with a way too sweet frosting. I was very disappointed in this because I would chosen the chocolate cake (or nothing). Just as we wrapped up the live music had started. This place is super cute, and perfect for drinks, dinner, a date, the live music, etc.

You still have that redhead that bitches about being there the entire time she's there. Same old lazy night time Bartender that isn't happy unless you're as miserable as he is. You got a new woman "no lady" who's tweaked out and jumpy but can fetch a beer in less than 10 minutes. Looking in the kitchen I see sanitation hasn't changed. With all that something doesn't feel right anymore. I honestly didn't think new owners could care less or maybe just as inept as the old ones but with that I am impressed. Don't go patting yourselves on the back to fast. The recent influx of business is only due to the lack of options in that part of town. Those wing recipes aren't your own and have been made by mutants with fewer brain cells than morals. Everyone that's ever worked there has them and readily shared them. I got the dill dip recipe from a dip behind the bar last month. Hope you didn't sink your life savings into the place because any minute someone could throw up a liquor license and put you out of business with you helping them. Last week we sat there. No drinks. Made direct eye contact with the big guy, and nothing. That's fine. We got up and got our own. I hope the 3 people at the bar tip well because I won't. I also won't be back.

Lots of character defines the atmosphere of Union Station…read more We started with the pierogis and spinach dip. My favorite of the two was the spinach dip served with pub made tortillas. For lunch we tried the fish sandwich and soup / salad combo. Fish sandwich came with fries. Fish was on the small side and fries more on the mushy side. I had the onion soup and house salad. The onion soup is not French onion, it resembles it but actually has a sweet flavor. Salad was fresh, I added grilled chicken, it came with a tiny cup of dressing. They do use bottled dressing rather than house made. Our server had 5 active tables, even though she brought ketchup and dressing to the table, she didn't offer drink refills or check back after we received our food.

There's a Christmas popup happening adjacent to the restaurant that is printing money serving college inspired drinks that taste cheap and hungover laden but the vibe is good enough! The focus of this quick review is on the restaurant itself! Beautiful building in downtown Erie that is a Brewerie but also has an fairly extensive menu of food. We were early but promptly seated in a corner of the restaurant. Our server was fun, attentive and quick. We ordered a round of drinks and went into mains after a quick review of the menu. I tried the Reuben and battered cod. Not having either in quite awhile, i was ready to enjoy these. However, the Reuben was ok and very standard IMO but the fries were weird and not great. Stale or frozen then thawed for awhile maybe. Others got the pierogi's that they said were "meh" and one person got the nachos. I heard the nachos were standard which to me meant good here. The battered and fried cod was delightful. Not greasy and batter was light. Drinks, the mango habanero was not good. The house made ginger was strong and the bourbon surprisingly did not mix well. IDK how else to generalize the Brewerie as just ok with the best things being the staff and maybe their nachos. Restaurants try to be bars and bars try to be restaurants sometimes. This is definitely a bar moreso.

Loved the peach beer myself (just the one) and my spouse enjoy his 3 ipa's. Met good patrons, which always tells me about a place. Pickle pizza hit the spot! And to make it 100% id suggest adding Sriracha or ranch drizzle? It needed just one *something.* but also totally brilliant without.

We had been…read morelooking for a brewery in Erie to visit after the Erie Marathon whenever Lavery Brewing popped up on Yelp. This place is large and has both outdoor seating on the side as well as plenty of indoor seating. The inside looked like a mix of cozy and industrial, with a long wooden bar stretching the length of the room, warm pendant lights hanging overhead, colorful beer boards on the wall, and shelves lined with bottles and glassware behind the bar. It had a relaxed but lively feel to it. After looking around to figure out where we wanted to sit, we ultimately chose the bar. For lunch on this day I chose to go with the pimento smash deluxxxe while my wife went with the pesto pizza. The menu described my meal as two smash patties, bacon, American cheese, pimento cheese, and onion rings on a brioche bun while my wife's was described as parsley basil pesto, triple cheese blend, fire roasted tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. I thought that the burger here was delicious as the patties were seasoned nicely and I appreciated the onion rings. While there was plenty of cheese and it was flavorful, I almost could have used more of the pimento. Then my wife liked her pizza here especially the pesto combined with the fire roasted tomatoes. Then for drinks, as I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Lavery Brewing, a flight consists of 6 beers and I chose the Active Recovery, Seeking Clarity, Lime n Cuke, Throwing Tropical Shade, Sound Mild, and Divine Intervention for my flight. I first started with the Active Recovery which was light and hoppy and very drinkable. Up second was the Seeking Clarity which had a clean start before a heavy dose of hops in the middle which surprisingly didn't linger. Third was the Lime n Cuke which has a strong cucumber smell and the drink itself is dry like most goses with a mild lime and stronger cucumber flavor. Fourth was Throwing Tropical Shade and you could really taste the orange and other tropical flavors with a finish flavor of coconut. For me this was a really delicious beer. Up fifth was the Sound Mild which was light but you got the nice flavor of those toasted malts at the finish. Last but certainly not least was the Divine Intervention which had a strong coconut flavor on the finish. Out of the bunch my favorite ended up being the Throwing Tropical Shade. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed the beverages and the food and we left both happy and stuffed.
