Attached to the Bayfront Sheraton. We grabbed lunch before hitting the road. Service was a bit slow but friendly, considering it was a holiday, not surprised. The burger and fries were great. 5 stars for the burnt ends. The tartar sauce that came with the fish had a weird taste to it but the fish itself was fine. A good option if you're staying at the hotel or in the area.

Had a great dinner here. Professional and friendly staff. Delicious fun themed cocktails and delicious food! You can never go wrong with the fried calamari as a starter, it paired well with their special tomato jam. The belly-on pork chop is huge and seasoned very well. A plus for the table by the window overlooking Lake Erie. We will be back

The staff here are very nice (the young lady working most days was just so sweet!) and attentive at breakfast time. I felt the bar was very understaffed every evening and that led to poor service but the drinks were still good- so that feels like more of a management problem than anything else. The brunch was mid and we couldn't get a drink before 10 am. Other mornings the food was good. I really liked the pancakes and Benedict.

The bottom line: Solid hotel restaurant, frankly it could hold it's own even outside of a hotel. While staying at the Sheridan I stopped at Two45 in hopes of getting some dessert to bring up to the room. The hostess was able to auickly bring me a menu. I was surprised by the variety of the selections. lots to choose from! I decided to order a key lime pie to go with The hostess placed the order and I waited. And waited. And waited some more. While I was waiting I noticed that the dining room is small but comfortable and modern. Every seat had a beautiful view of the lake. Really nice. Also right outside of the restaurant is a bar, and rumor has it you can get service in the bar from the restaurant, and that seating is first come first serve, unlike the restaurant which fills quickly with reservations. Finally, after a bizarrely long time to receive my order of pie (15 min)- I am handed my pie. I charge it to the room (convenient). The pie was a good size. I was a little annoyed by how long it took to cut a piece of pie and ring it up, but when I got to my room I realized this key lime is a bit different. They use a marshmallow topping which they toast, so probably it had to fall in queue for preparation, which I now understand the reason why it took so long to get. Not as simple as cutting it. My takeaway: Solid hotel restaurant, frankly it could hold it's own even outside of a hotel.

Unforgettable Experience at 245 Waterfront Grill and the Sheraton Hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel and dining at 245 Waterfront Grill, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is just amazing--great location, excellent service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely loved it! As for the restaurant, I wish I had saved the name of our server--she was such a lovely person who made the dining experience truly unforgettable. Her warm, sunny personality and outstanding service left a lasting impression. (Unfortunately I lost a card with her name) The food was absolutely amazing! Every meal we had was so delicious that we never even thought about looking for another place to eat during our stay. I can't recommend both the Sheraton Hotel and 245 Waterfront Grill enough. Whether you're visiting for a meal, a stay, or both, you're in for an unforgettable experience.

Christina, Addy & the entire staff here are incredible!! Food is bomb, drinks are awesome, service is impeccable & you really can't beat the view. The bar is also amazing, the best espresso martini in Erie. Everything at the Sheraton is better than the Marriott tbh. The vibe is nautical modern & really there is more to do on this side of the marina. Love it here!

If you're visiting Erie (or live there!), Two45 Waterfront Grille is a must! My friends and I ended our girls weekend here and it was so delicious. We made reservations, which in my opinion, is always a perk! We all ordered great cocktails and some delicious appetizers - buffalo cauliflower and crab croquettes. For my main dish, I ordered spicy shrimp pasta. I really enjoyed it! Our waiter was great and explained to us why this waterfront grille was named Two45, after the Navy's victory in the Battle of Lake Erie. I look forward to coming to Erie again and making this a stop!

Outstanding food and service. Nice selection of entrees and appetizers. Wedge salad was the best I have ever had and the burnt ends app was quite good. Excellent home made New England clam chowder. Lovely waterfront restaurant at the Sheraton Bayfront.

This salmon was delicious and moist. It was topped with a delightful tangy tomato salsa, which quite enhanced the flavor of the fish. I loved the broccolini. It was savoury and complimented the salmon well, along with the creamy brown rice mixture. I enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower. The flavor was perfect, however, I found the breading to be a little too heavy. I would have enjoyed it more if the buffalo was on the cauliflower itself too instead of coating only the breading. As for the clam chowder, it made me feel like home. It was so creamy. There were actual chuncks of clam, which made my soul so happy. I would recommend this soup as a wonderful cold, fall day soup. There were potatoes and bacon along with an assortment of other finely chopped veggies in there that uplifted the creamy to a whole new level. The iceberg wedge salad topped with a sweet, smoky, and thick piece of bacon was fresh and light. I liked how much the bacon added to the salad and contrasted the greens and blue cheese. I only wished there was more blue cheese (but I'm a big blue cheese fan.) I would definitely get it again. Concerning the ambiance, the dining area was decked in a delicate dance of blue and gold, with bulbous chandeliers, plants, and a beautiful, clear view of the water. It created a soft, nautical atmosphere with class. My server was named Jace. Despite my party coming 30 minutes prior to close, she was extremely kind and accommodating and was willing to answer my questions about the food too. She was great. I recommend this place as a quietly, pleasant brunch with yummy food and a classy ambiance.

Beautiful restaurant and very very helpful staff. The food was tasty but be sure to ask if there is an allergy because not every ingredient is listed.

The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly and the location is pristine. The bay views make the already cozy interior even better. It loses a star because they really put the squeeze on when it comes to simple things like french fries. Fries are cheap to make and a customer favorite. Your options are 9.00 starter or additional 5.00 when you pay for a sandwich - hard pass. It worked out because the potato salad they offer free is bonkers good. The other thing I didn't like is they charge 9 for a cup (ouch) then 10 for a bowl of soup. I ordered the bowl - very tiny little thing. My two cents, get a nice glass of wine (if that's your jam) and a quality entree. Iam going back for the carbonara very soon.

It's old and run down and needs upgrades especially in the bathroom. The door in the restroom couldn't even close and it blocked the sink. I had to stand on the side of the sink to wash my hands. Then the blower to dry my hands was very weak ( they need a new one) and there were no paper towels available to dry my hands, so I had to allow them to air dry until I got to the table and used napkins. This place is like a catch of the day, sea to take kind of place. Which I would expect being located on the bay. But the seafood was flavorless. The table had fried calamari, and although it wasn't chewy, it wasn't seasoned with anything so it was like cheating crispy air. The other food was pretty flavorless as well, which seems to be a trend in Erie, PA. I had a burger, the burger wasn't anything to be desired. Definitely lacked flavor and seasoning. The fries were good fried pretty good but had no salt. The veggies on my burger however were fresh and had a good crunch. The fish was a bit under fried for my liking, I sent back and they fried another piece without a problem, but it still could have been fried longer. The chocolate cake was ok not too sweet however, it was a bit dense. I probably wouldn't come back here.

(I-90 runs several miles to…read morethe south of it for reasons some interstate planning committee could probably explain, and thus all you see from the freeway is a smattering of chain hotels on the outskirts of town). But on a trip back from Cleveland to Buffalo, we were hungry and looking for well-recommended places in Erie and the absolute hidden gem that is Chippers is what Yelp found for us. (Thanks, Yelp!) Chippers is an excellent assemblage of deliciously crispy fried things featuring seafood and chicken but also a surprisingly robust vegetarian slate. I ordered inside, was given a 20-minute estimate, wandered Erie for a bit, picked up the very-reasonably priced order, and we drove down to the waterfront to eat. I would and probably will stop back in Erie just for this experience. It's the bomb, as the kids used to say 25 years ago. Notes: 1) the collards and batter for fried items (the fried tomatoes are killer, btw) were approved by my partner, a confirmed Southerner--they do good things with seasoning to make food that often seems phoned-in at other places truly delicious; 2) the employees told a homeless guy that he couldn't come in at just that moment and then went out of their way to explain that they had nothing against homeless people or him specifically, but that he had caused problems and so they placed some boundaries on him. (They gave him the cup that he was asking for shortly thereafter.) I found it refreshing and wonderful that they were concerned that a customer might expect them to act with decency and compassion towards the less-fortunate rather than thinking a customer would simply want them to make that situation go away. It's a small sample size, but I think Chippers may hire good people.

So glad that this place has withstood so much turnover nearby. Food is consistently great. Lunch, dinner, even brunch is SOLID. This time, I did the Chicken Cordon Bleu Wrap with tots. Could've just been a silly assumption, did not expect the wrap to be toasted. Now this was on a 100 degree day, so wouldve personally preferred it to be cold this day but all good. Tots are dependable and great too. Wish I received a larger potion though. Was kind of surprise it wasn't like filling the plate and was more a scattered handful. Love this spot though. On this visit, we both ordered the grinder, but my first bite felt off -- something was missing. Sure enough, when I lifted the bun, the most important part was missing: the boom boom sauce. After adding it ourselves, the sandwich tasted the way it should, though the bread was a bit dry since the sauce wasn't baked in. I'll also note that we typically visit for lunch, but this trip was later in the evening. The vibe was very different -- louder crowd, mostly college kids, and slower service due to how busy it was. We'll probably stick to lunch visits going forward, since that's when we've had the best experience.
