I have eaten here before but I didn't remember that their food options are mainly pizza. Although, their deep dish pizza is very good. I was hoping to have more dinner pasta type of options; therefore, I was not so please with their menu potions. My family and I were there for an early dinner, and our waitress took along time to put our order in, and she also forgot to bring us our appetizer. My parents hosted my bridal shower of 57 people here in their party room and it was a hit - The owner was as accomodating as can be and the food was delicious as usual. If you are looking for a place to host your party/shower in the downtown Naperville area that can accomodate 50+ people I would highly recommend this restaurant. Many places we had looked into downtown Naperville could hold between 30-40 tops, so we were thrilled that Giordano's had excellent party packages. They let us pick our arrangement of the tables and had extra sign in tables and present tables outside the party room for us. They also had a personal server to serve the pizza at the food table. The pizza itself was just as expected, delicious stuffed deep dish pizza with a perfect crust. They also allowed us to bring in our own cupcakes for dessert. The manager rolled his eyes and said "where's her pizza" sarcastically. Horrible customer service sir. Hopefully whoever owns this location gets A NEW manager. This was my first time to Giordano's. My favorite Chicago pizza is Lou Malnati's. My husband had been to Giordano's before and enjoyed it so I decided to try it. Service was pretty good. The staff, from the hostess, to the manager and servers, weren't very friendly. We ordered the boneless wings, traditional wings, house salad and a classic Chicago style deep dish pizza. The wings were amazing. Great portion size, crispy on the outside, yet juicy meat inside, and came drenched in the sauces! The salad was average...It's always disappointing to find brown limp pieces of lettuce in your salad. My biggest disappointment was the pizza, which was the whole reason we chose to dine at Giordano's. When it came it it wasn't even hot. The outside was pretty warm but the inside of the pizza was wasn't hot at all. The cheese and toppings inside were a lukewarm congealed mess. Besides the temperature, the entire pizza was very under seasoned and packed flavor. Cooking 101, season, season, season. It was so mediocre that I didn't even finish one slice. I'm a long time customer of Giordano's. I decided to try this location because my husband and I were in the area. So we ordered our food to go. I ordered the thin crust cheese, garlic parmesan fries, and artichoke fritters. Everything tasted okay but the thin crust pizza. It tasted nothing like Giordano's thin crust, the cheese was entirely too thick and there was rarely any sauce on the crust. The pizza tasted nothing like Giordano's. Not to mention that our fries were given to us in a paper bag. There should be a better serving container for the garlic parmesan fries instead of a white paper bag. read more

Great pizza but thin and stuffed! Giordano's beats Lou Malnati's hands down. The sauce is flavorful and the pizza has plenty of cheese and toppings. Service in has always been good even when I've eaten there during peak times. If I had a wish list, it would be for a good slice of cake or cupcake for birthday celebrations. The one time I was there for a birthday, they brought out a pretty tasteless piece of cake with a half burnt candle. Spent 2 hours waiting for our online order. When it was 20 minutes past the promised time, I tried calling. The phone rang 20-25 times with no answer. I called several times with the same result. We eventually placed an order with a different pizza place now that it was almost 2 hours later and I sent my husband to the store to cancel our order. When he got there, the hostess at the front told him the manager had decided that since they were "too busy" they should just turn off the phones. Ridiculous! My hubs and I love their deep dish and thin crust pizzas. They are the best in Chicago but we do not recommend anything on their menu that is NOT pizza. Tonight we tried a couple desserts. Giordano's is falling down the list of GREAT Chicago Deep Dish pizza places year after year. I really only go to this location when the Lou Malnati's around the corner has a line that's too long. But seriously the sauce is lame, and the crust is sooo dry compared to other pizza joints. I really am at the point where I don't care much for Giordano's...Lou's - Ginos - Pequads really have them beat and sometimes I just rethink my dinner plans if Lou's is busy and I really don't feel like waiting an hour for Giordano's. read more

We went there with family about two months ago and great service. They were so so so packed and you can place your order early and belly up to the bar, drink a few, your buzzer goes off and by time you sit down your pizza comes up in about 15 minutes! Great homemade mayo based dressing. Thick and thin pizzas are amazing. If you like meat get sausage and mushrooms. They literally cover the whole pizza with a sausage patty...bring some tums! The first thing I noticed about this location was that the carpet smelled. They need to clean the carpet because I couldn't enjoy my pizza because of the smell. And We were starving and had to wait over 40 minutes for our pizza! However when the pizza finally arrived it was good. read more

My Horrific experience with Giordano's Pizzeria, Downtown Naperville Illinois! Lets start by saying: I took my wife and high school sweetheart out for our 27 year anniversary. All was well until they made the wrong pizza for us. After explaining to the waitress who assisted us that the order was not correct, and that we did not want the pizza that we waited almost an hour for. The waitress said she would get the manager who then came out (Angry) and very rude! I explained to him that we were given the wrong pizza and that we were not happy. His first initial contact with us was not at all about the pizza. He told me and my wife that we needed to move from this section of the restaurant and that we can not sit here although the server seated us there. I asked him what does this have to do with our pizza order that was made wrong. He went on to tell us that we needed to move because this section is closed and we can talk about the pizza after. My wife was very upset about his rudeness and total disregard for the treatment we received from such a well Brand Name pizzeria such as Giordiano's. I would not even rate them a star because the manager who helped me and my wife showed no empathy and could not resolve any issues for us. Reading the other reviews have led me to say, please stay away from the downtown Naperville location they have been inconsistent with (Food) and (Service). Sub-Par service and horrible food. By the way, please do not respond saying you're sorry for my experience, because you were given more than one shot to make it right and you dropped the ball. Favorite deep dish pizza place in Chicago! This is our go to location for both take out and dine in. The sausage and cheese is always a favorite, though you can't go wrong with any of their deep dish pizzas. The house salad is excellent, made better by the dressing and fennel. Surprisingly, the thin crust pizza is also pretty good. The only knock is that for take out orders, they always seem to miss something with my order. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to just go in and pick up food vs waiting an extra 10 min waiting for something that was forgotten from the original order.
