Spinach Manicotti with Marinara
Meagan H.

First time here - the reviews are pretty spot on when they say it's a darker atmosphere. It's an order at the counter, they bring it out to your seat yourself table (very quick I'd add!). The tables and booth were fairly sticky...the food was okay. I ordered the spinach manicotti with marinara sauce thinking there was spinach in the ricotta but it was just placed on top with the sauce. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and said the sauce and pasta was good but wouldn't necessarily order the chicken again. I can see how this would be a good and easy to go order/pick up restaurant. I'm not sure if we'd come again but I'm glad we checked it out!

This is like a hidden gem sitting right next to Jewel-Osco. We always order capri and Italian, my picky eater loves the 6" Italian sandwich. Maybe next time we will try their pasta. We have not eaten at their restaurant as we always buy to go. Even thought it is to go, they really take time to listen to your orders and they are fast. The sandwiches are packed nicely and labeled. Instead of going to subway or Jimmy John's we come here, don't mind paying extra.

Best Italian sandwiches in the burbs! They honestly do everything exactly correct for an Italian sandwich, and that's not easy to find. My husband and I tried the Italian as well as the Della because we also love mortadella, but both were absolutely delicious!! We definitely plan to try out more of their menu, and feel so fortunate to have actually FINALLY found a true authentic Italian deli/restaurant in our area.

Ordered delivery. Penne arrabiata was not spicy at all. The garlic bread wasn't very garlicy. Ravioli had too much sauce.

As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great experience. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available as well as a traditional deli counter. They also have a drive thru! You can choose to order at the counter or be seated with a more traditional restaurant-like service. Our waiter was young but very professional and provided great recommendations. To start, they bring a complimentary bowl of bagel chips (a unique twist and a great way to repurpose old bagels). For my meal, I had a half American sandwich with a bowl of matzo ball soup. It was simple but delicious. On our way out, we stopped at the deli and ordered a few rugelach. They tasted so fresh! My favorite was the apricot flavor. Definitely hope to be back real soon to support such a great spot! Shana Tova!

My husband loves a good deli sandwich and his favorite is the Pastrami Reuben. He ordered with a side of curly fries, plus a BLT combo with an added pickle spear. The estimated pick-up wait time after calling in for a 2 sandwich order was 20 minutes (so not the best if you're in a rush, then again this deli is not "fast food.") The food was fresh, made-to-order, and the folks behind the counter are so friendly! We will be back whenever we're in the mood for a good deli sandwich. 5 shining stars for a locally owned awesome deli in Naperville.

The menu features lots of salads and sandwiches like any deli should have really. Basically it has many of the classics. It's one of those places you order at the counter and they bring it out. There's also many of the customers who get takeout. A bad thing is it can take a long time to get anything. Lots of times they're really slow. It's about $10 for a Beyond Burger. This is one of the main vegetarian options. A pretty typical one with the basic toppings but nothing special to be honest. Of course there's lots of paninis filled with meat. There's also the Reuben made with the classic corned beef, or it can be made with pastrami. Also has it available as vegetarian made with mushrooms. The rest of the menu has the typical stuff like chicken salad and egg salad. For sure it's a great place at lunch except for being crowded. It's located on 75th Street at Millbrook. The place is always crowded so most seem to get takeout.

The cashier was so friendly and welcoming, and I believe the manager (she had a ponytail and was wearing a black polo) was working next to her and was equally kind. The cashier even asked if we were rewards members. I couldn't remember if I still was, so she kindly looked us up and sure enough -- I was! We even had a free drink on my account, which was such a nice surprise. Great food, friendly service, and little extra touches that make you want to come back. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Still a must-visit when I am in town (not often) and always impressed with the food and service…read more Today was also amazing all-around experience. Additionally I found the crowd to be very friendly and contributed to the ambiance. We had a stroller and someone got up from his table to hold the door open for us. On the way out too, someone held the door. Others in line were happy to chat. It reinforced the community feeling at Kregers! Food & Jim's classic bratwurst - sandwich to go. Got two of these with onion, sauerkraut and brown mustard. I always appreciate that these brats are lightly seasoned. Perhaps it's the brown mustard (or perhaps the bun) though there's a very slight sweetness which keeps the whole sandwich lighter than a typical bratwurst.

We really liked the brat we had while there and can't wait to enjoy ours at home. Service (A) Fast and friendly. Basically you queue up and then order. The staff is super friendly with explaining options and assisting with ordering. They have numerous individuals helping customers so you are not waiting for one customer. They grill the brats to serve outside and it is a super cool neighborhood experience. Super super friendly staff. Quality (A+) Excellent. There is such a huge difference in taste and quality when you purchase from a place like this. We had a brat with a roll and it didn't feel heavy. Was light and tasty. Heck a brat here tastes better and feels lighter than a tiny Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage link. Full of flavor. Also we got the beets. They were really good. I will be getting pickled beets from them on a routine basis. Value (A-) It's a bit expensive - it's around $3+ for each sausage and the lunches start around $8.50. Not crazy expensive but not a great value either. Borderline expensive but not there yet. Don't believe the negative reviews. Dramatically over stated and one offs. If you live in Naperville and haven't been - go! Try them out - only open from 10-3 on F and Sa. But find the time. It is worth it and what has made Naperville great. What they can do to get an A+ Service - make sure the person at the register doesn't get overwhelmed. Value - lower the price slightly - you can do this by actually spending more in marketing and getting more volume to reduce rate Quality - nothing - it is excellent Bottom line - I am being nit picky with feedback. Go and try them. If they were located in the city or Ny and did a bunch of marketing it would be one of those "best places in the world" with a line of tourists down the street. Note if the kiddos like the sausages ""bye bye Jimmy Dean" and only buying from here.

I had them once before at a work event because they do box lunches which are pretty good. I also noticed that they do catering which I might consider for a party in the future. This time I decided to get their turkey sandwich and turkey noodle soup. Their sandwiches are on the smaller side for the price. I think if they just used different bread that wouldn't be the case. I like that they have a 1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich option but I imagine the sandwich would be too small. I liked the overall quality of the sandwich but it's very bland without the honey mustard. The honey mustard is what makes the Turkey sandwich. I would get it again for this reason. I did enjoy the Turkey noodle soup! I'm glad it was a different variety then chicken noodle soup. I'm not likely to get their frozen sides as that doesn't seem worth it to me when getting catering. Might as well get a cheaper frozen side from a grocery store? That's just me though. The staff was very friendly! They also have good promotions. If you fill out a survey I believe on your receipt then you'll get bogo. If I lived closer I would have done this but it expires after a week I believe. They also have a sandwich punchcard.
