Best Italian food I've had in a while! I had a delicious pasta with homemade tomato sauce, and my girlfriend ordered the spaghetti. Everything was so good that we finished every single bite. The homemade bread with olive oil was incredible--I honestly couldn't get enough of it. And don't even get me started on the broccoli cheddar soup! It was easily the best broccoli cheddar I've ever had. We loved it so much that we even took a quart home. Our waitress was super sweet and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better. The restaurant also has plenty of comfortable booths and tables, and the atmosphere has a nice, relaxed, romantic vibe. We were going to the Cinemark, which is practically next-door to Clara's so we decided to eat there and I made a reservation there on OpenTable yesterday we showed up timely at 10 to 5 and First. We had some soup which was an Italian soup which was bright, orange and really really delicious after the soup. We shared Rudy's shrimp which is pasta with shrimp and a clear garlic sauce and of course, the bread they put on the table we had with it was wonderful. The waitress was terrific very smiley and very sweet and I can't think of anything. It isn't five star about this place. Had a reservation for 7p.m. showed up and got sat promptly. Host was very nice. Got waters and cold dinner rolls dropped off but no greet from any staff member. Sat for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. Wasn't super impressed with the menu so decided to just leave. Told the host about not being greeted and she was apologetic, while doing this a staff member came up saying sorry and it was their fault and they had forgotten about us; he was the one who dropped water but failed in any greet. read more

My family and I used to love Clara's for the longest time. However, in the past five years we feel like it has gone downhill. We went to celebrate a birthday dinner and left very underwhelmed. My mom ordered the Vodka cream sauce with grilled chicken. It tasted good, but she said it was not the best Vodka pasta dish she has had. My dad ordered the Salmon Florentine. The fish had that "fish" smell to it. I opted for my go-to, Spicy Rigatoni Arrabbiata with grilled shrimp. As an appetizer we got calamari and bruschetta. Overall, most of the food we ordered was fine...it was good, but nothing special. The salmon a thumbs down. As always, I will give it to Clara's for their kind and attentive service, as well as their balanced classy and cozy vibe. Prices are on the higher side for Italian, with most entrées averaging around $20-$30. The arancini (Fried risotto balls) are A+, worth the trip. The starter salad was disappointing--basically a bag of lettuce with a single slice of tomato and cucumber, topped with a flavorless dressing. However, the homemade pasta was very good, and there's a generous selection of sauces to choose from, which made the main course worth it. Service was fine--nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. Overall, a pleasant spot if you're craving good pasta and don't mind paying a bit more for the atmosphere. read more

We came to Clara's for the first time today, and this place was hopping at 4:45! The ambiance was extremely nice, with beautiful holiday decor and a cozy fireplace. It is also very kid friendly, with the space large enough for kids to walk around without interrupting other patrons. And the service of the support staff was top notch - even if our server was swamped with other tables, the support team also kept an eye on our table and ensured we had what we needed. For me personally, the food was too salty and too saucy (I had the eggplant parmigiana and we split a pizza). However, the complimentary bread with garlic olive oil was delicious, and the mocktail I had was easy to drink (a take on an Arnold Palmer), and my kids / husband particularly enjoyed the calamari. The garlic bread with added mozzarella chrese was good & very flavorful. One of your workers stayed in the bathroom to confront me for accidentally making a louder noise with the stall door than normal. I went to close the stall door, it get caught in my elbow so I closed it with my elbow and it made a louder lose than normal. He proceeded to wait in the bathroom to confront me, then run out to the floor to cause a scene. I was left confused. Ask they asked, I left. We have visited Clara's for years & was looking forward to a delicious dinner & 1st class staff teams. Our Waitress was amazing even though she was expecting her 1st child in a couple weeks! We arrived after lunch rush. The place had a few people eating but not at all busy. Unfortunately the staff in the main restaurant was NOT concerned with their loud conversations & acting like they were outside at a ball game shouting to the umpire seriously totally ruined the romantic couple dinner we desperately needed. Even if we were the only one in restaurant the staff & workers should understand only low conversation is professional in this preferred establishment .Our waitress heard our concern & the manager came to our table. To our disappointment he acted like our complaint was unfounded! Even after the manager supposedly asked staff to settle down many still continued loud conversation & expressions. On our way out at the hostess table there were 2 ladies positioned there, can you believe NOT either one said Thank you for coming, or Have a nice day!OMG the lack of manners & politeness was the worst I have seen. I have worked in the food industry & if this experience as guests , patrons made us aware of a concern.. As a Manager I would re-train the whole staff. I doubt we will ever come back. read more

I was here with a group of 4 during dinner and overall our experience was OK. From what I've heard from others this place has expanded and is somewhat recently renovated. The space itself is fairly modern and has a closed off-ish floor plan. For me it looks smaller than what it actually is. Service for us was also OK. It could have been better/faster, however, I've had service from other establishments be way worse as well. It was fairly busy so I can understand why we didn't have speedy lighting fast service. I did notice that there were a number of bugs flying from the ceiling or instantly attracted to food once we did receive items. Note: we dined indoor and windows/doors from what I could see were kept closed. I ordered the house red wine and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it. It was on the sweeter and less acidic side and if there is 1 thing that I would order if I came back, it would be this. For food we started with the grilled calamari to share and it was also just OK. Nothing special about it, pretty standard for a calamari. For my entree I had angel hair pasta with the vegetable primavera sauce. This was OK quality wise. The business owner said they've been using the same pasta recipe and same house made technique daily for many years but for me it does not taste like it's fresh or homemade. It's too bad the food stinks here. My family has been three times and we've never had a delicious meal. The eggplant parmigiana, the chicken parmigiana...it all tasted the same. The tomatoes in the salads were mushy and disgusting. You could only get whole clams in the linguine in white clam sauce only if you ordered "extra clams." Nothing was served hot enough...some of the bread squares I think they were supposed to be focaccia, they were burned on the bottom. Such a disappointment. read more

Stopped into Clara's for lunch today to celebrate a co-worker's first day on the team. What a GREAT lunch spot! Plenty of room for groups/meetings and a wonderful lunch menu with huge portions! The food was delicious and the staff are so warm and friendly! The tiramisu was one of the best I've had! In May (2025,) they are selling their family cookbook Cooking With Clara and all proceeds go to Blessings on A Backpack to feed kids in the area who are getting free lunch at school but need food to take home on the weekends. read more

Went to Clara's on Friday. We were so disappointed. The stuffed shells were not tasty at all. Their meatballs left a lot to be desired. In addition, we also request d a bottle of the house red wine. All the food choices were excellent and well prepared. First of all, a nice restaurant with value for the glass wine pricing. No measured glass options with wines at other establishments starting at $12-18. They pour a nice glass and you can fine good options at $9. Entree's can be shared and those are priced very competitively. All in all, great food, wine, service and value. Only complaint is the lights are set too bright...felt a bit cafeteria at our evening meal. Tone them down for better ambiance. read more
