Best Italian food I've had in a while! I had a delicious pasta with homemade tomato sauce, and my girlfriend ordered the spaghetti. Everything was so good that we finished every single bite. The homemade bread with olive oil was incredible--I honestly couldn't get enough of it. And don't even get me started on the broccoli cheddar soup! It was easily the best broccoli cheddar I've ever had. We loved it so much that we even took a quart home. Our waitress was super sweet and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better. The restaurant also has plenty of comfortable booths and tables, and the atmosphere has a nice, relaxed, romantic vibe. We came to Clara's for the first time today, and this place was hopping at 4:45! The ambiance was extremely nice, with beautiful holiday decor and a cozy fireplace. It is also very kid friendly, with the space large enough for kids to walk around without interrupting other patrons. And the service of the support staff was top notch - even if our server was swamped with other tables, the support team also kept an eye on our table and ensured we had what we needed. For me personally, the food was too salty and too saucy (I had the eggplant parmigiana and we split a pizza). However, the complimentary bread with garlic olive oil was delicious, and the mocktail I had was easy to drink (a take on an Arnold Palmer), and my kids / husband particularly enjoyed the calamari. Prices are on the higher side for Italian, with most entrées averaging around $20-$30. The arancini (Fried risotto balls) are A+, worth the trip. The starter salad was disappointing--basically a bag of lettuce with a single slice of tomato and cucumber, topped with a flavorless dressing. However, the homemade pasta was very good, and there's a generous selection of sauces to choose from, which made the main course worth it. Service was fine--nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. Overall, a pleasant spot if you're craving good pasta and don't mind paying a bit more for the atmosphere. read more

The complimentary bread brought out with herbed dipping oil is always so delicious. It's so difficult to avoid filling up before the main entrée is served! The garlic bread with added mozzarella chrese was good & very flavorful. The fresh pasta (which has a variety of shapes to choose from such as fettucini, spaghetti, rotini, radiatore, etc.) with tomato sauce was delicious. The tiramisu was pretty good too. Got seated in the bar area for an early dinner on a Friday night and it was a happy accident because all cocktails were half price. Or - I buy one and my sister gets one free as she says! I was here with a group of 4 during dinner and overall our experience was OK. From what I've heard from others this place has expanded and is somewhat recently renovated. The space itself is fairly modern and has a closed off-ish floor plan. For me it looks smaller than what it actually is. Service for us was also OK. It could have been better/faster, however, I've had service from other establishments be way worse as well. It was fairly busy so I can understand why we didn't have speedy lighting fast service. I did notice that there were a number of bugs flying from the ceiling or instantly attracted to food once we did receive items. Note: we dined indoor and windows/doors from what I could see were kept closed. I ordered the house red wine and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it. It was on the sweeter and less acidic side and if there is 1 thing that I would order if I came back, it would be this. For food we started with the grilled calamari to share and it was also just OK. Nothing special about it, pretty standard for a calamari. For my entree I had angel hair pasta with the vegetable primavera sauce. This was OK quality wise. The business owner said they've been using the same pasta recipe and same house made technique daily for many years but for me it does not taste like it's fresh or homemade. Flavors were OK, again, nothing special. As for the portion it was generous and I did have a lot left to take home. read more

It's too bad the food stinks here. My family has been three times and we've never had a delicious meal. The eggplant parmigiana, the chicken parmigiana...it all tasted the same. The tomatoes in the salads were mushy and disgusting. You could only get whole clams in the linguine in white clam sauce only if you ordered "extra clams." Nothing was served hot enough...some of the bread squares I think they were supposed to be focaccia, they were burned on the bottom. Such a disappointment. read more

Went to Clara's on Friday. We were so disappointed. The stuffed shells were not tasty at all. Their meatballs left a lot to be desired. Our group of four recently had lunch at Clara's. We ordered the Caprese and Calamari appetizers and lasagna, chicken parmigiana and shrimp primavera as our entrees. In addition, we also request d a bottle of the house red wine. All the food choices were excellent and well prepared. The portions of lasagna and especially were large and provided some take home food for the group. Our server Jennifer provided excellent service to meet our group needs. Stopped into Clara's for lunch today to celebrate a co-worker's first day on the team. What a GREAT lunch spot! Plenty of room for groups/meetings and a wonderful lunch menu with huge portions! The food was delicious and the staff are so warm and friendly! The tiramisu was one of the best I've had! In May (2025,) they are selling their family cookbook Cooking With Clara and all proceeds go to Blessings on A Backpack to feed kids in the area who are getting free lunch at school but need food to take home on the weekends. read more

The service was top notch. Santiago took care of us. He was the best. He helped us with fantastic recommendations. I had the Basil Cranberry mocktail that was yummy. The food was delicious. We had lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. Both were very good. The spaghetti was made with what tasted like fresh homemade pasta. The sauce had a little kick to it. First of all, a nice restaurant with value for the glass wine pricing. No measured glass options with wines at other establishments starting at $12-18. They pour a nice glass and you can fine good options at $9. Entree's can be shared and those are priced very competitively. All in all, great food, wine, service and value. Only complaint is the lights are set too bright...felt a bit cafeteria at our evening meal. Tone them down for better ambiance. read more

We dined Clara's for the first time Saturday evening. We sat at the bar and had wine while we waited for our booth to be available. So glad we were NOT seated to the left of the restaurant because there was a screaming baby that continued screaming for quite a while. Once seated at the booth, we ordered the eggplant Parmesan and chicken Parmesan, Special.) We were enticed by the advertising of homemade pasta . The eggplant was not as good as I was hoping for ... skin was left on which I am not used to and was not fried for crispiness and then baked... it was just baked. The other item was the Chicken Parmesan which was the better option because it was baked crispy and tender. The pasta in both was good but not amazing. We were both disappointed in the sauce because it was very, very salty. The portion sizes on both were very good and pricing was also very reasonable. The service was good and ambiance was pleasant, but most likely will not go back for reasons mentioned. read more

Zero stars is more like it! If you consider booking a room for an event beware that you may not actually get the room you booked even if you meet the requirements. I planned an event and was bait and switched into the amalfi atrium which is NOT conducive to a party that you'd like to mingle in if you have 40+ people. The room Is very narrow and the tables are long and Very close to one another leaving a very narrow walkway with a coffee station, gift table etc along the wall. I specifically booked the Abruzi room and when I showed up to set up 30 minutes prior to the start of the event I was told I was in the Atrium. Clara's changed the contract and assigned a different room with NO NOTICE. They took zero responsibility and basically had a take it or leave it attitude. Rude doesn't even begin to describe it. 0/10 would NOT recommend. Edited to respond to the business owners rebuttal. I exceeded the minimum three times over which was apparent by number of guests and package chosen. Your management team most certainly did not attempt a calm and respectful conversation. They waved a contract that I did not sign in my face and took zero ownership or responsibility. You did have a written request of the Abruzzi room as that was the contract I signed. When I returned with the contract I signed I was dismissed and lied to so I requested the police be called as I wanted record of my attempt at a conversation that I was refused. I was there. You were not. You only know what you were told.and what you relay is not the truth. read more

Food was pretty good but the service was mediocre to say the least. We had Eric as our server tonight and he didn't seem to have a care in the world (besides upping his auto gratuity). He gave us the basic script of specials but besides that little to no service was given. We were barely checked on and if we were it was by the busser. Everything food, drinks, and placing orders took forever. We asked for the check because we were so tired of dealing with his slow service but then we changed our minds and decided to get dessert but little did we know that would keep us stuck for another 30/40 minutes with how slow he came back to take our dessert orders. Overall we love the food but this is the second time we've had this server and both times have been a subpar experience. Also!! Eric told us that all alcoholic drinks were half off that night but when receiving the check there they were full priced. Not only did we have a less than experience we were also lied to. My one star review is for service alone. I come here frequently including catering/hosting large family events in the reserved rooms. I took my out of town family to dinner here on August 7th at 4:00pm (5 of us, note for later in the review) the place wasn't busy at all, and had the worst experience with our server Noel. Took our order, gave us our drinks, then didn't see her again until she dropped off the bill. All of our glasses were empty before getting food served, a food runner dropped the plates off so quickly didn't have a chance to ask. Someone else quickly strolled by asking how is everything and again no chance to ask for refills or even notice! I'm a generous tipper, but she definitely didn't deserve 20% tip, I was going to add 10%. Worst part of this experience? With a group of 5 or more people they automatically add 20%!! The service was excellent. The rolls were great. The mesclun salad was very good. But my entree, linguine with primavera sauce and calamari, was disappointing. The sauce was very watery, like a broth, and contained absolutely no peapods which were listed as one of the vegetables and my main reason for choosing it. The waitress did bring me a generous side portion of peapods when I mentioned this, but they should have been there to start with. read more
