Great value, large portions. Nothing tremendous, just good food. My waitress was really nice and had a nice smile! She could probably teach a thing or two to people in the industry. Had the chicken picatta, nice tangy sauce with a good amount of capers. I asked for linguine instead of angel hair, cooked perfectly. Salad was quite large, could probably feed two people. Bread was ok.

First time here with the kids and it was a great experience. The food was good, service was on point, and the ambiance is great! Love the fact that they have basically the same menu in GF! I've never seen that before and can really appreciate that. Prices are decent considering portion sizes. Will be coming back for sure.

First the staff was beyond nice and friendly, our server Lacey was so friendly and an all around great server. The owner Paul came by the table ask how we were doing, talked a few minutes and was a really nice guy. We had pizza and lasagna. The pizza was nice and thin crust and crispy. The sauce and sausage were really good. The lasagna was really good as well, really big piece you get with soup or salad, we had mushroom barley soup again really good. And something so simple as garlic bread was one of the best garlic bread I've ever had. Inside is decorated really nice, they have a dining room, they have a separate room I think for parties and they also have a bar. It was nice and clean too. We will definitely be going back. We are not gluten free but I know ppl who are and they have a big gluten free menu!

Been driving by this place for 2 years and the parking lot is always packed. Decided to give it a try tonight and luckily we were seated with no issue at 6:00. Tuesdays is $20 chicken night and it includes soup or salad. Both of us went for the chicken and weren't disappointed, a solid choice with leftovers for tomorrow.

Nestled in the streets of Naperville this cute little place has good vibes. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic evening. This is a family owned business and the owners personally took care of the customers. Traverso's pizzas are a work of art, with thin, crispy crusts that perfectly complement the rich, flavorful toppings. Whether you're a fan of classic Margherita or adventurous enough to try their signature Traverso Special, each pie is crafted with care and attention to detail. But pizza isn't the only star of the menu. Traverso also offers a tantalizing selection of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes, each bursting with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Don't miss their homemade tiramisu for dessert - it's the perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal. Service at Traverso is warm and attentive, with staff members who are passionate. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. In summary, Traverso Pizzeria is a must-visit destination for any lover of Italian food. With its cozy atmosphere, mouthwatering menu, and exceptional service, it's sure to leave you craving more. Buon appetito! Food: 9/10 Ambience: 10/10 Service: 10/10

Traversos's is an absolute must for pizza. From their original location in Orland Park to their current location in Naperville the pizza, the decor, the smell when you pick up your pizza in the cozy pick up room, still has that same great vibe thankfully! Traversos's has a storied history and a following that keeps this place packed always. Traversos's has that feeling of being welcomed and appreciated. The leather on the walls has a comfort to it that makes me feel like they know. They know Italian and they know pizza. Traversos's history continues today still being in the family. I have many memories of the original location especially the enormous and just as soft wall hanging in the lobby. Remember those big wood doors? How about those seemingly out of place steps not quite right outside the pickup room in the parking lot. They need to install those in the parking lot outside the pick up room in Naperville. Traversos's will be around for a long time. Next time you're picking up a pizza make sure to read the history of Traversos's proudly displayed in the pick up room and also attached with the pictures here. It will make you feel proud to support Traversos's. I've always been back and hope you do the same.

Cozy Neighborhood Restaurant in Naperville. We ordered grilled Salmon, Salad of Mixed Greens, and Gluten Free Chicken Tenders/Garlic Bread. This place has one of the largest selection of Gluten Free items in the area. The Gluten Free Fried Chicken is also popular here. They were also flexible with accommodating for various other food allergies. Restaurant was clean and food was fresh. Thank You

A…read morelong time ago, in my mid to late 20s era, we would order seafood boil for Father's Day so this was very nostalgic for me. I've seen the sign for Sea Shack from Route 59 and finally got to try it when my sister was visiting Naperville. I called in an order and it was ready in 15 minutes. What we ordered for 3 adults: 1 lb peeled shrimp, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb black mussels, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb clams, mild 1 corn on the side 1 sausage on the side onion rings chicken tenders and fries 2 orders of rice We had plenty of food and enough for leftovers. My favorite part might be the cajun butter sauce with white rice... even more than the seafood. I love white rice with basically any sauce. The food was fresh, the sauce was mild as requested, still flavorful and not too salty. If you order the clams on its own, no sides, the bag might seem a little small but that's just because the clam meat is so small. For takeout, your seafood will come double bagged so it was leak proof. We decided to empty the bags into bowls since we were doing family style, and it was a hearty meal. I can't comment on the ambiance since it was a takeout order, but we enjoyed our food. We'll be back!

I had some of their cajun pasta and calamari, both were quite small serving sizes for their price. What put me off was adding shrimp to the pasta for 5.99 only to be given exactly five pieces of shrimp. The pasta had nothing cajun about it and served on a big plate to look bigger than it is, far too big for the small table! The pasta itself was nice, however it tasted like grocery store jar alfredo sauce. And the restaurant had far too loud music for so little people there, couldn't even talk properly to the server or family despite sitting so close on a tiny table. Would not recommend

The second time, it was Monday when the oysters are $1.25 and we weren't acknowledged, so we decided to seat ourselves at an open table we saw just to be told to wait and that someone would be with us....we stood at the counter waiting for a good 5 minutes and no one came to us so we sat on the bench in the front for what felt like 15-20 minutes. Finally, someone came just as I was getting ready to pick another place for dinner. Based on that wait time to get seated, we were smart enough to put in everything we wanted to order for our meal since we knew it would take a while to get someone's attention again. I like coming to Shuckin' because of that oyster deal and everyone else might have the same idea which is why they were so busy. Minus the wait and mid service, what brings up the rating for me is their food. Everything I've gotten here is pretty good and I haven't gotten anything yet that I didn't like.

It was my first time trying frog legs, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them. They were served in a flavorful lemon butter sauce and tasted very similar to chicken. For my entrée, I ordered the swordfish special. It was fresh, flavorful, and not fishy at all. The fish was incredibly tender and cut like butter. My only complaint was that the portion size was a little small. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée, muddy bottom pie, and cheesecake. All three desserts were excellent, but the crème brûlée was the standout. The creamy custard paired perfectly with the crisp caramelized sugar topping. Overall, we had a great dining experience. There was live music, which created a fun and lively vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the experience went downhill after we were seated. We waited almost 30mins before our server came to take our order. I understand that Friday nights can be busy, but guests should still be attended in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Several of the mussels tasted spoiled, which was very disappointing!! The avocado in the crabmeat avocado appetizer was not fresh either (please see picture). There were shell fragments mixed in with the oysters. It honestly felt like they were not shucked properly in the kitchen. Finding shell pieces in oysters is not something I expect from a restaurant at this price point!! The one exception was the frog legs. They were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked beautifully with plenty of butter. That was definitely the highlight of the meal!! Overall, the atmosphere and live music were enjoyable, but the long wait, food quality issues, and high prices made this a disappointing dining experience.
