Visited this location on a Thursday night @ 6:15 pm. Ten people in line in front of us. One person making pizza...moving at a snail's pace. Five minutes in, still making pizza for first customer in line. Eight minutes in, finished with first customer. Stops to talk to co-worker for several minutes. We left! Following Thursday, we decide to try again...maybe it was just one bad night? We again arrive @ around 6:15. Only one person in line ahead of us. It is immediately clear the customer and the employee making the pizza know each other as they are having a long conversation while the pizza is NOT getting made. 6:21... it's our turn. I order my pizza, and the employee slowly makes it, and puts it on the rack to get cooked. My husband starts to give his order, but the employee stops to have a conversation with another employee who is filling up the toppings. My pizza goes in the oven well before hubby's is even made, so naturally, mine comes out of the oven well before his. It would have been nice to eat together! His was ready after I had already eaten half of mine. (I guess I could have waited and let mine get cold.) Pizzas were yummy. They were very stingy with the sauce, but I should have asked for more, so my bad. You'll see from the pictures that the crusts were very inconsistent. Mine was very thin. My husband's was very thick. We both had regular crust, but his raw crust was huge, and they folded it in to fit the pan, resulting in a super thick crust. 4.5 stars for the food. 0 stars for the service. read more

You're able to choose from their super wide-array of toppings and sauces (which is lowkey kind of dangerous bc my pizza-topping ratio is always so over the top haha). Ok so I will admit the first couple times I had MOD pizza I was kinda meh about it but now I absolutely love it. Now I think it's a great place to get a good amount of tasty pizza for a reasonable price. They don't seem to have "Flash MOD" deals nearly as much anymore; I think now it's around $10-12 for a regular sized pizza, but it's unlimited toppings. Picture is of "The Jeffrey" which was a Flash MOD deal once. My go-to is usually a Hawaiian style pizza with Canadian bacon, regular bacon, BBQ sauce drizzle, pineapple, red onion, & 2-3 types of cheese lol. read more

We had a bad experience and unacceptable experience at this location tonight. The young adult who took our 4 person order was half asleep and did not even talk to us and barely acknowledged we were there. No one was at the register to to take our payment. The order was ready and we had to tell the girl we did not pay. She sent someone to the register but we could have walked out without paying. That was after she gave two men free pizza and drinks. The place was so filthy, we did not even sit down. The tables were all so dirty, there was food under all the tables and when you have a 7 and 4 year old telling you they do not want to sit at the dirty tables, you know it is bad. it was also SO cold in there, we ate our food in the car. Went in yesterday on 07/08 around 4:40pm and was not greeted at all. While asking questions to the young woman up front she did not acknowledge any my questions and continued to ignore me until she finally just gave a slight nod and kept going with what she was doing. I totally understand working in customer is not easy and can get tiring especially because I also work in it but I mean come on... is it that hard to say welcome and answer a simple question? First bite: mmm... yes... now that's some damn garlic! I think this is the BEST garlic bread I've ever had in my life - except it isn't bread; it's garlic pizza... with no sauce. Skip the red sauce. It's not worthy. Chunks of garlic, smothered in garlic butter, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The perfect snack for under $4. It must be the real pizza oven with . I also want to mention MOD offers easy fundraising opps for neighborhood organizations serving youth and families. Very nice. The place was filled with pimply teenagers. Hehehe. I love Mod but had to try something new other than my typical standby, since my doctor recommended I cut out gluten. Fortunately, they do have a gluten free crust (a couple bucks more and only available in 11" size). With trepidation I tried it. Wow! This was a tasty crust that crisped up nicely (though cutting through it was a little hard). Toppings melted on there with the cheese in a satisfactory way. I will say that if you are legit celiac, rather than gluten sensitive, you might pause before ordering here; they do have the gf crust on a separate pan...but then the guy slicing it up used the same pizza cutter on mine that he'd just used on my dad's (non gf) pizza. So if you can have absolutely no contact with gluten, be aware. Also, staff was generally friendly but one guy was being weird; when I asked if I could get something on my pizza he said, "You can get anything you want, it's your pizza" in an irritated, almost combative tone. I've been to other Mod locations and always had a great experience. Ive been at this location a few times and it was alright but this time around not so great. I asked for a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on my garlic sticks and the guy said he can't do that. I asked why not and he stated they are not allowed to put cheese on the garlic sticks. I said I always get it this way and no one has ever said they can't do it. His answer was well I can't do it. I tried to explain that I can get unlimited toppings on my pizza including extra cheese but you can't put just a little cheese on my garlic sticks!? He said nope. To me it doesn't make any sense and I'm disappointed. As a update to my experience I have to rate it 5 stars now. Love the crew here and feel like a family each time we come here. read more

Fast casual pizza made fresh! Love the many options of toppings you can choose from. I've been to many MODs they're all good. We were catching a movie, but decided to have pizzas before the show. We both had a the double dough, because I like the toppings to stay on the pie rather then slip off one there standard crust. It was a Friday, busy as ever and they were well staffed and our food came out in a timely manner. The double dough crust wasn't as a thick pillowly crust as I pictured it in my mind, but oh well the toppings and sauce made up for it's less of a rise. Amazing every time. I'm the biggest fan of mod pizza and will come here over and over. A few things to comment: the food is delicious. I have never ate here and not liked the meal. I always do the customized pizza because you can keep adding the toppings and never get charged extra for it. The speediness is always amazing too. You don't wait too long for the pizza but yet it feels like a full baked meal. They have so many different toppings available and they are always fresh. Another reason why I love this place are the people. I've been here many times and always get someone who is energetic, fun, and super polite. Bathrooms are clean and the soda machine has over a dozen options. The location is great, right in the middle of all of the other shopping. read more

Mod pizza in Naperville on a Saturday afternoon was a good idea. Our party consisted of four people who ordered custom pizzas. One young reviewer said the pizza was good but it was burnt the first time, it's too thin, and the cheese tastes a little bit off. He goes on to say, on the bright side, they did not charge for making another pizza to replace the burnt pizza. Another reviewer in our party says that the water in the sink in the woman's bathroom goes everywhere when you wash your hands. Another says she likes the gluten free and dairy free choices. Finally one reviewer who says and I quote "everything sucks", is the same reviewer who ate more than half of his custom pizza. So over all one reviewer says he hates the pizza and others say they love the pizza. Also the music was pretty good, the staff was also good, and the decoration are really cool. If you've ever been to Mod pizza, this is a Mod pizza. The decor, the music, the vibe is lively and fun. Good place for kids, but it can be busy at peak hours. Like, you have to stalk a table. Also, bring a warm coat. It's cold inside. Most of the patrons wear their winter jackets while eating. Not so comfortable. Maybe the employees get too hot standing next to the oven all day?
