Rocco's Pizza is a place that unless you know it's there you can easily drive by and keep going right on by. Often times headed out of that parking lot is when you are reminded that there is a pizza place there. An order for pick up was ready quickly and can be tracked using the website. Walking in it was a typical pizza place that smelled like pizza with a few soft drinks available. This was my first experience with Rocco's Pizza and I can't say anything bad about the pizza, no surprises good nor bad. I'll keep Rocco's Pizza in the pizza rotation. read more

I must've passed this place 50x taking my daughter to practice over the last 9 months. Never had any idea it was here. What a fool I feel like. The pizza is AMAZING!!! It's a small, quaint shop, located tucked away in the corner of the plaza. I got a half cheese half pepperoni and my only complaint is I wish they advertised better so I could've found it last summer!! Their pizza is very good but they have gotten the last two orders of mine (with the same ask) incorrect. I used GrubHub and wrote "Important: 1/2 cheese-only and other 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom, please." This time it came with one half mushroom and one half pepperoni. Last time it was all pepperoni and mushroom. I've an extremely picky eater at home (we are working on it...) and I really don't like to have to pick things off food because the order wasn't correct... twice. I was looking for a pizza place to deliver for a company meeting and chose Rocco's based on reviews. Communication was excellent, the price was reasonable and delivery was flawless. The delivery was a little difficult due to the location and yet there were no issues or complaints. I was not able to eat the pizza, but it smelled and looked delicious. Many of our employees approached me, the following day, to tell me how delicious the pizza was. We will definitely choose Rocco's again for our pizza. read more

I've always thought the hole-in-the-wall pizza joints are the way to go - and I mean that in the best possible way. The place where you get basic, no-frills, just what you need on a weeknight pizza. This is my favorite style of pizza. It's the kind I grew up on. Thin crust (you can order double), delicious tomato sauce, quality cheese and fresh toppings. They have a gluten free crust. Only issue is it's only a available in medium pizzas, which are huge for one person. I just love Rocco's. I don't want pizza from anywhere else since I first had a taste. The people that work there are friendly and their service is efficient. Single(large) slices are available, but later in the evening harder to rely on availability. No in store dining. I've never seen service take a nose dive like this.. My wife and I have been ordering pizza from Rocco's for years and we loved it until today...we ordered a pizza for delivery. It was an hour late so we called - they said they thought we said we were picking it up and said we'd be getting a pizza right away ...20 minutes later the delivery driver arrives and says we owe money - he had to call the restaurant and I had to stand there waiting for them to figure out what happened - turns out I owe them 2 dollars and 40 cents because it's a delivery instead of a pickup! It was INCREDIBLE. Reheated very well and had tons of flavor. They are not stingy on cheese either. They also told us 40 min for delivery it was here WAAY faster than that. This place is your standard neighborhood pizza place and it's just about perfect. I had a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza and an order of buttered noodles for the kids. It was ready to go when I was there to pick up. The pizza box doesn't look big when you get a medium pizza but it's about enough for 2-3 people. Usualy when a business changes from the ORIGINAL ownership theyre trying to save money in the beginning and cut back on quality. This seems to be the case with Rocco's too. My wife was raving about this pizza AND its called ROCCOS so I thought how could we go wrong. I am not a Chicago transplant. I was born in Chicago and grew up trying new pizza on the Northside and the Southside. Roccos is equal to speedway gas station pizza. It has a very bland taste to it. I was expecteing a crunchy crust on a thin pizza and this isnt the case at Rocco's. People that swear by Rocco's havent had Al's pizza on cumberland and lawrence in Norridge. read more

I always pass this place when I go grocery shopping but it never looked like the kind of place I thought would have gluten free pizza. Well, I looked at the delicious looking pics on Yelp, called, talked to the owner, and within 20 mins, the perfect gluten free pizza was delivered to my door.
