If you have ever seen the soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld, this place is the pizza equivalent. The pizza is really good, however beware at the Ogden location if you ask any questions. I asked for a receipt and the guy argued with me, and then took my pizzas away. If you are able to obtain an itemized receipt, you'll see they charge more than the menu prices and throw in credit card fees. So, just be prepared to pay more than what they advertise. read more

I saw that Louie's had good reviews and it wasn't far from where I lived, so I thought why not? I ordered online and it was easy to navigate. It was ready when I got to the restaurant. We've been going to Louie's Pizza in Lisle for years now (often driving out of our way a bit to get it), but now they've opened a new location in Naperville much closer to us! Louie and the family are great and so personable, and our kids really like getting to say hi to them when we drop by (now a little more frequently as they're closer by). We love their thin crust pizza (always crispy and flavorful), and it's been the best out of all the local places we've tried so far. That being said, what keeps us coming back is their salads. Their Greek salad is one of the best we've had from a pizza place EVER; super fresh, not skimpy with the kalamata olives and feta, and always make sure to get their oil/vinegar house dressing. It helps to fill out a "healthier" meal when we're tired on the weekend and the kids want a relaxing night. We've been going at least a 2-3 nights a month for a while now as part of our current weekend routine with the kids, but it's not infrequent that we'll put in an order during the week when other plans fall through and neither my wife or I are up to cooking. Great food, very consistent (even in a pinch), best quality salad options of most of the local pizza places around in Naperville/Lisle. We'd highly recommend checking Louie's out. Anyway, the gyros are good, and pizza is classic Chicago tavern style: thin crispy crust with ample toppings. I ordered half pepperoni and half sausage. Fresh garlic on all. Both were good. Sausage had some nice fennel notes. It's a bit greasy, but very good. The owner is a heck of a nice guy. I love supporting local small businesses. Give them a yry. First time here. I called they said it would be ready in 15 mins. That's quick. It was ready. It was tasty. I liked the sauce, the cheese, and the bread. I wish tried an order of fries. They're straight potatoes peeled, just like mom/dad use to make. Hadn't had these in years, took me back. I don't know if it's an acquired taste but the more I ate the better they tasted. Great pizza, great gyros! I stopped here for the first time after my son's flag football game. Customer service is great! The owner helped us with our order and was very nice and hospitable. I ordered a couple of pepperoni slices and a gyro for lunch. The slices were huge, I think two slices were almost the size of a small pizza! You can tell they use high quality and fresh ingredients. They serve thin crust, double dough and pan style pizzas. The Gyro had the most meat I've ever seen in one gyro! I wonder how big the Gyro plate is? It's probably feeds a family of four! When I called to place the order, they didn't ask for my name and didn't give a total. When I went to pick up, I had to describe my order so they could grab the correct pizza. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood. On our first try here we had the "Supreme" pizza. Sausage, pepperoni, onions and green pepper. A traditional pub style pizza. Thin crust. Not too thin. Perfect. Cooked perfectly. (though note that some others might consider their style "well done" - slightly charred edges. And a bit if caramelization of the cheese). I was not expecting to be impressed. "Gyros, pizza, and crepes?" Sounds like the Cheesecake Factory of pizza joints! Nonetheless the pizza was very good. Good enough that I'll try the gyros for lunch someday. And let's hand it to the owners. Opening a brand new restaurant during a pandemic? That takes guts. Or opportunism ( this was another pizzeria that went out of business last year). Either way, I'm intrigued.
