Great double cheeseburger. If I can control myself, delicious lasagna makes three meals.

I consider Capri pizza to be the "control" pizza of my pizza tour. Not really good, but not really bad. Pretty bland.

Great pizza (I order it extra thin so it's crispier). Lasagna is awesome! People who work there are very nice.

Maybe it was just a bad day for them today, but it was less than expected. Went with my wife and son for lunch. The young lady at the counter seemed to be having a bad day, at least I hope she was, because if she's like that every day, she shouldn't be working there. She had attitude and was short with us. It wasn't anything she said, but rather, the abruptness with her questions and overall demeanor. If we ordered anything on the side, or asked for something different than what usually comes on a sandwich, she huffed and eye rolled us. It didn't make us feel very welcome. We got a number and sat down and waited. When our food arrived, we were short one soda and a side of vinegar and oil. No worries there. I was taken back a little that we were charged 50 cents for water, $2.50 for one slice of Gouda cheese, and 50 cents for an oil and vinegar cup. There is also a 3% charge for using a credit card. The actual food was better before. My combo sandwich was somewhat bland. I remember the hot dog being bigger before. It went from a deli hot dog to a regular sized one. My wife thought the turkey burger was bigger before as well. Overall, I remember it being more flavorful in the past. My potato salad was still very good. The cannoli pieces were outstanding. The place was fairly crowded being Mother's Day, and the service was pretty quick. Turkey burgers take a while to cook. It's always lively but quiet in the restaurant which I like. I hope this was a one time dud experience, and I will be back, unless the cashier has another bad day, and the food is lacking taste.

Update 2/2026 Proof…read moreNo. 5 has officially become one of my all-time suburban favorites. I've been here many times for brunch and dinner, and it truly never disappoints. This visit was extra meaningful because they quite literally saved my birthday evening. We had reservations at the new Bien Trucha in Wheaton, only to arrive and find it closed... with no notice. Not exactly festive. Enter Proof No. 5, swooping in like the culinary hero of the night. We enjoyed an exquisite tuna crudo, rich and beautifully balanced, and meatballs over polenta that felt like comfort dressed up for a celebration. The medallions with mushrooms and three sauces were excellent, layered, and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails? Some of the best crafted in the suburbs. Thoughtful, balanced, and dangerously easy to order a second. Warm atmosphere, consistently great food, and a team that delivers every time. We'll keep coming back. And back. And back.

Found out this place is closing soon and really sad I can't try all their dishes. Shared the Whipped Feta with olive spread on naan bread and gluten free bread. Really delicious and light and creamy. Had the wagon rider non alcoholic cocktail. Hint of raspberry and lime. My main meal I had the roasted beets salad and added salmon. Had the right amount of dressing. There were air dried and roasted beets. Get the crunch from air dried beets and pistachios. Also had a Light sweet taste. Have option to add steak, salmon, or chicken. Choose the salmon and was cooked perfectly. Very flaky and moist. There is free parking on the streets and not far from the parking garage.

My other half at the table added parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper to theirs, and that was a great move too--it gave it an extra kick and was just as delicious. The experience wasn't just about the food either. The staff were great--very attentive and happy to suggest menu items when we asked. The restaurant itself was clean, very nice inside and they were quick to come by and clear away finished plates and other table items, which made the whole visit feel well taken care of. Great food, great service, and definitely a spot worth coming back to.

You place your order at the counter and your pizza will then be brought to your table. My husband and I ordered the 16 inch Italian sausage and peppers pizza. This pizza was huge and loaded with ingredients. We had trouble finishing the pizza. We didn't need or have room for dessert but we got the cookie skillet because the picture made it look so good. And the cookie skillet was good, just a little smaller than we were hoping for with the price we paid. We still had a nice time and I recommend Billy Bricks - Wheaton.
