Almost no sauce, almost no cheese for 30 bucks. Will never order from here again. Not recommended.

Tucked away in a strip mall set back off of Route 59 is this new to me restaurant and bar. But I…read morethink they've been there for about nine years. Parking was easy. Getting a couple spots to sit was also easy. Getting and keeping anyone's attention was not as easy. It was a busy-ish Trivia Tuesday and they seemed to be well staffed but both people behind the bar that we tried to make contact with breezed past us a lot. Despite that, we did eventually try the $5 margaritas which packed a nice punch. We also went with a pepperoni wrapped and deep fried cheese stick. Clearly not a premade product from somewhere else...the sauce was great while the cheese stick lacked pepperoni flavor even though we clearly saw some in there. It was more boring flavor wise than expected but a really great concept! Our Foo pizza was ordered without the cilantro but also arrived without the jalapeños. Again, another great concept but this one lacked on the execution side of things. Not enough BBQ sauce at all (I'm not a huge sauce girl, but this was way too light), soooo many fried onion strings clumped together (and I love fried onions...soooo), missing the spicy component in error.... But the crust was great and cooked nicely, the pulled pork was delicious when you found a bite, the bacon cooked perfectly and the pineapple portion was good. Why four stars instead of three? Clearly they're using quality ingredients. This is huge to me! Restaurant felt, looked and smelled clean. Conceptually they've got some awesome menu items that make me want to come back and we already mentioned to friends of ours. And the drinks were solid. We will take a different approach next time and hopefully add this one to the rotation.

The gluten free pizza is completely undercooked, dough is almost raw. So, after 68.00 spent, both pizzas are going in the garbage. Very upset and frustrated to spend that much money on terrible pizza. I can't believe they would allow these pizzas to go out the door like this. I am calling management now. UPDATE******* The GM Billy responded to my issue promptly and refunded me my money. He was very apologetic and embarrassed our pizzas were delivered in that fashion. I am pleased he responded so quickly and resolved the issue appropriately.

Aurelio's Pizza in Plainfield is my absolute favorite pizza around -- hands down, no contest. That…read moresauce, though! I swear they must have a team of Italian grandmothers in the back just whispering love spells into the tomato pot. We usually order out (because stretchy pants are life), but every so often we dine in, and it's always a treat. The interior is cozy and welcoming -- like a pizza-themed hug -- and the staff is always friendly and attentive. It's also surprisingly spacious, so you can totally host a gathering here without bumping elbows over the breadsticks. Today's feast was a masterpiece: Barbecue wings -- tasty and sticky in all the right ways. Mozzarella sticks -- pure cheesy glory, like a mozzarella mic drop. Antipasto salad -- packed with more olives and meats than I knew what to do with (and I did my best). And then...the 18-inch sausage pizza. This thing could double as a life raft. It feeds our family for days and is absolutely delectable. Bonus points for having a drive-through -- because sometimes you just need to pick up your pizza without changing out of pajama pants. In conclusion: Aurelio's is what happens when love, cheese, and tomato sauce decide to throw a party.

One server in particular, Theresa, was rude the entire time, making my table do the math to figure out how much our food costed, when she is the server. She also told us we can't get a pizza which was literally on the menu because the kitchen doesn't like making it??? She gave us horrible service then complained when we didn't tip. Why would I tip after being treated like that? Overall a great place if you get any other server. Shes the only one, quite stuck-up.

The shrimp and polenta and the meatballs are always a go-to for us, and when we come in as a group, we usually end up sharing a few of the wood-fired pizzas, which are consistently excellent. Also worth mentioning--the Monday half-off pizzas are such a great deal and make it an easy choice to come in at the start of the week. Great food, great drinks, and always a good vibe.

The bar is the first thing you notice and is very welcoming to sit and have a drink. Cocktail menu was a good selection and some unique offerings. Ordered the appetizer of focaccia with the lemon ricotta and marinated cherry tomatoes. Was decent but the tomatoes may have gone better with a savory ricotta like basil/garlic rather than the lemon. Just a personal opinion. Was fresh and different. Ordered a house salad which was good, fresh and not watery like some places. Then the pizza, great crust. Well risen, chewy but not soggy at all , just the right crisp and not skimpy on the toppings. Sauce was not sweet and a good roasted tomato flavor. Service was fantastic on an early Saturday evening! Would go back to try some other items as they looked really good coming from the kitchen going to surrounding tables!

I'm disappointed with my recent order from Giordano's. I paid nearly $100 for two pizzas, and…read moreunfortunately, neither order was what I expected. I ordered a deep-dish pizza with double cheese and double sausage. I was told they could accommodate the extra cheese, but the double sausage was not done. When we opened the box, my son immediately commented that it looked as though the box had been dropped--the pizza had slid completely to one side. Although the box itself was still very warm, the middle of the pizza was only room temperature. The cheese also did not seem noticeably different from a regular pizza despite paying for the extra cheese. I also ordered a thin-crust cheese pizza for my granddaughter. Instead, it arrived with onions, peppers, and mushrooms--ingredients she did not order but ate it to be polite. I realize mistakes happen, and I don't expect perfection. But when spending nearly $100 on two pizzas, I do expect the order to be correct and the pizza to arrive hot and properly prepared. I also noticed another customer mentioned receiving a pizza that was doughy and didn't seem fully cooked. The manager responded that they had made 300 pizzas that day and that this was the only complaint. But having only one complaint doesn't necessarily mean there wasn't a problem. Many customers simply don't want to be confrontational or take the time to complain. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I don't feel this order was worth nearly $100. I hope Giordano's will take these concerns seriously and work on quality control and order accuracy. The one bright spot was the family chopped chicken salad. It was quite expensive, but it was delicious and probably the best part of the order.
