    Lobster Sauce

This Chinese restaurant is located in a strip mall in Walpole center. There is a lot of parking, and it's a safe area. I've been here before when it was owned by the previous owners, but now it's under new management. It's a small restaurant within a sushi bar and a regular bar for alcohol. The server was very nice and attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered, pork fried rice, lobster sauce and a pupu platter for 1. The rice was good flavorful and fried like I like it. The appetizers were good and fresh and the lobsters sauce tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the vegetables in the lobster sauce. If you are in this area, check them out you cannot be disappointed.

The food is the worst Chinese delivery I have ever had. Kung Pao chicken from the grocery store frozen food section is even better.

Lunch special garlic chicken was excellent Abundant with chicken that was nice and tender. Came with hot and sour soup very filling as loaded and nice kick to it, fresh white rice Came with crab Rangoon with some crab in it... Beef teriyaki appetizer was a bit overcooked and tough to eat... Excellent value for 19.95 for a huge lunch special which wax 2 meals...

Updating my review to continue supporting this local business! I've placed numerous pickup orders recently. And I found that placing the order via phone is slightly cheaper than ordering online. Also, I'm not sure why Uber Eats doesn't offer it's lunch special menu options. The lunch special is such a great deal! Your entree is served with rice, soup, and an appetizer. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the appetizer is normally crab Rangoon. On Tuesdays, it's normally the sweet and sour chicken. I like they open early at 11 AM. Normally you wait for about 20 minutes for pickup orders. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. The staff members are always so kind and nice! Sometimes there is coupon they send in the mail, so be on the lookout for that as well!!

It's these little touches that made my night.

Lovely experience x 2 weeks in a row. I've seen a few lackluster reviews and I don't understand why. The owners & staff are friendly. Our waiter was the same both times and was attentive & gracious. Their sushi chef is creative & has a great smile. The pan fried Peking ravioli were AMAZING. My husband is a chef & really enjoyed the crab rangoon! So flavorful! The lo mein could've used just a hint more flavor like sesame oil, but overall was very good & enjoyable. The spicy tuna maki was great, as was the crazy maki & California roll. The Spicy Tuna Tempura maki was a creative treat! The lychee martinis AND Mai Tais were FANTASTIC! The inside was modest & cozy - don't let that make you question it. Quite honestly, it made for a quiet and enjoyable night.

Conveniently located in Walpole Center with large parking lot. Lots of food options including Japanese & Chinese with sushi & hibachi - great lunch deals starting at $10.95. Lots of take out orders. Service was fast & efficient. Interior could use some upkeep.

We've been here twice before and always had a good experience, so for my boyfriend's birthday he…read morerequested hibachi and I decided to bring him back. There was plenty of parking, and upon walking in the restaurant looked very clean. Since it was close to closing and I had called ahead, we were seated right away at a hibachi table with just the two of us. There was an extremely loud birthday party seated next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault. While ordering, I wanted to get appetizers and sushi before our hibachi meal, but I felt a little rushed by our server. On a previous visit I remembered there being a Tuesday appetizer special (I thought it was half off), but when I asked, I was told they had never offered that promotion. Food: * Rock & Roll Roll - 8/10: Fresh and tasty, although the crab had a slightly stronger smell than I'd prefer. * Shrimp Tempura Roll - 9/10: Very good, but I asked for extra eel sauce and was given barely a tablespoon. * Steak & Shrimp Hibachi - 5/10: The flavor was excellent and everything was cooked exactly as requested, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. * Chicken & Steak Hibachi - 5/10: Again, the flavor was great, but the portions were disappointing. We ordered extra chicken, which ended up being a good decision because the regular portion was very small. Each plate had less than a cup of rice, and although I requested extra mushrooms instead of zucchini and carrots, that substitution wasn't made. * Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings - 10/10: Easily one of the best items we ordered. Perfectly crispy with great seasoning and just the right amount of spice. * Scallion Pancakes - 9/10: Crispy and flavorful, but they could have used more scallions and a larger portion of dipping sauce. Drinks: I ordered a lemon drop martini made with tequila, but it tasted like it was made with vodka. I asked if it could be replaced, but that request was declined. They brought me pineapple juice to try to make it more drinkable, but it didn't help, and the drink still remained on the bill. That was definitely a 0/10 experience. Our hibachi chef was fantastic. He was engaging, acknowledged my fiancé's birthday, and honestly made up for the lackluster service we received from our waiter. One thing diners should be aware of is that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but it isn't verbally mentioned. It's listed as a "service charge" on the receipt, so it's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. I asked about it to confirm, then tipped our hibachi chef separately because he deserved it. The receipt also includes wording encouraging additional gratuity, which could easily lead guests to tip twice if they don't notice the automatic charge. Overall, the food quality and flavors were still good, and the hibachi chef made the experience enjoyable. However, the rushed service, disappointing portion sizes, drink issue, and lack of transparency about the automatic service charge kept this visit from living up to our previous experiences.

We went to Masa Hibachi in Norwood last Friday night as a treat for the family after a hectic work…read moreweek. We were looking forward to relaxing, enjoying some good food and having a little sake. We've been to Masa several times before and our previous experiences have generally been very good. The food is consistently delicious and the hibachi chefs usually put on a wonderful and entertaining show. Unfortunately, the wait staff can sometimes be less than pleasant, although we were fortunate to have a great male waiter that evening and our chef was entertaining as well. Our waiter was doing his best, but he was busy attending to the other tables. At one point we had dirty soup and salad bowls sitting on our table and there was simply no room left for them. We tried to hand them to one of the female waitstaff members who was nearby, thinking it would be a simple and reasonable request. To our surprise, she flat out refused to take them and told us that we needed to wait for our waiter. Given that the restaurant was busy, this came across as unnecessarily unhelpful and added to our frustration with the service. Things were going very well until around 8:30 PM. We were seated in the back section with several other families and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Then a very large group of young adults arrived, apparently celebrating some type of event. They came in with oversized speakers and began playing very loud music, parading and dancing around the restaurant and generally taking over the atmosphere. What was especially disappointing was that the restaurant staff did not appear to do anything to address the situation. The noise and disruption became so excessive that it completely changed the experience for everyone seated in the back section. Families who had been enjoying their dinners began leaving, including my family. What should have been a relaxing Friday night dinner turned into an extremely loud and uncomfortable experience. I want to emphasize that we have enjoyed Masa Hibachi many times in the past. The food is good, the hibachi chefs are entertaining and when the atmosphere is under control, it can be a great place for a family dinner, etc. Unfortunately, the lack of intervention that night, combined with some of the service issues, really hurt the experience. If you're looking for a quiet or relaxing family dinner, I would strongly recommend avoiding Masa on Friday or Saturday nights, especially later in the evening. Based on our experience, it can turn into a madhouse and the restaurant should do a better job of making sure one large group doesn't ruin the experience for everyone else.

The pork chashu was super dry and thin. The bamboo shoots were also tasteless and straight out of the can. Overall the dish was just ok, and my bf and I shared it just to try this place out due to the high ratings. I assume this place is getting high ratings for other reasons than the ramen... Service: not sure what to say here the lady did not even know we entered the place. We sat ourselves until they finally noticed us to give us menus and drinks. I was a bit disappointed as they were coughing everywhere during our entire service so I felt very grossed out during our first time experience. Ambiance: it's ok, it's a bar/dining room and it was empty when we walked in. Overall 3.0 experience for us, the tonkotsu is not that great compared to other places and I would recommend going elsewhere if you want to be noticed by staff.
