On the other hand, I appreciated that management was responsive when I called to address why I was not fully satisfied with the move. The movers seemed all nice, I just feel like the lead could have communicated better and managed the move better. Decided to hire a moving company this summer, instead of trying to do everything myself. I chose Gigantic Moving & Storage because of the high rated reviews, and best rates for what they provide. So happy with the service! Booking process with Noelle was simple, and she explained everything on how the moving process works. Entire team was friendly and professional. I don't remember the name of the guys that did my move, but they were great.They showed up early, and got straight to work. Showed them the rooms and what was moving; and they did the rest. Loose items were wrapped in plastic and/or blankets. They even went as far as reading the notes on my boxes "fragile" or "no heavy items on top" and paid attention to that! Asked questions about all the loose items, and I made the choice of what got wrapped up and what did not. On the trip to the new home, they called to say they were taking a lunch break, but took me off the clock. At the new home, they unloaded quickly, and stayed gentle with everything. I just pointed to the rooms and floors where I wanted everything, it was so easy. Just a few hours total, and when I got the bill when they finished, the time for their lunch break was removed, as promised. Would recommend them! read more

Nice guys, moved everything fine. However, I ordered a 2 person crew and they sent me and charged me for a 3--this is a huge price difference, be warned. They gave me a window of two hours and could not make it on time which cause a huge problem with a different moving crew that was on time for another resident. read more

I am happy to report that Gigantic Moving and Storage along with Noelle have responded and corrected the problem in my previous review. The movers originally damaged my washer and dryer. Well, this has been rectified by replacing the old set with a brand new set or equal value since my old set were discontinued. Awesome!! Initial contact to get pricing and discuss scheduling was super easy! Michelle was extremely knowledgeable and made the process painless. She was able to book appointment for my desired date which was only 1 week out. They had given me an estimate start time between 8-10. I received a call at 7:55 letting me know they would arrive in 10 minutes, it was a great start! Shawn, Thomas and Johnny were extremely fast, professional and took great care to protect all belongings during the move. They unloaded a completely packed 16 ft. Pod container, carefully loaded/packed in their moving van, drove approximately 30 minutes, then delivered to my apartment on the 4th floor using an elevator (and steps for oversized sofa that wouldn't fit in the elevator) all in 5 HOURS. I move a LOT and I do it surgically, so I have very high expectations. The guys at Gigantic were fantastic. They called in advance, arrived on time, and most importantly, put everything back together exactly where I wanted it. And they actually seemed to enjoy themselves. This company is absolutely unprofessional and unreliable and What I'm about to write here is absolutely truthful to the dot. We had a scheduled appointment for the movers to arrive between 8-10am on a Saturday. At 9:00am, one of their customer service called indicating that their truck was having trouble and they wanted to reschedule for the next morning, I was not happy at first but I was very much inclined to accommodate since it was an unforeseen situation. However, I found out from my HOA, that there is a restriction for moving on Sunday. Without wanting to delay my move, I requested Gigantic to work out their schedule to execute the move later in the same afternoon. Customer Service named Kelly agreed and promised to have their foreman to call me as soon as he could to lock in a time window for our delayed move. She also offer me $10 reduction in hourly rate to compensate. But, I waited for another two hours and nobody called. I called Kelly again to express my displeasure for the horrible customer experience. This time the same Customer Service inconsistently described the incident that was caused by a medical situation to one of the drivers. I asked to speak to the Owner but Kelly said she would not be available to me until Monday. She unprofessionally indicated to me to either wait longer for the call or cancel the move. And she said I was not the only person who were being impacted by this and I should not be barking at her for any reason. Finally, I hung up the phone and I decided that I no longer wanted to deal with this moving company. My experience with this company was absolutely horrible. This company is lacking a plan for business continuity and a customer service who can focus on customer experience. There are so many other moving companies in Seattle that provide a more reliable and professional service. If you are looking for a moving company who is capable to put your move schedule as their top priority, Gigantic is not it. read more

They destroyed all my furniture and my walls. And charged over 700 dollars to top it off. No apology, nothing. They splintered the wood on my bed frame and my coffee table and when I called them they told me to file an insurance claim. This isn't minor scratches, chunks of wood are splintered off. There was an oversized couch that we had damaged many walls to get into our apartment in the first place, and they just deadlifted it and expertly maneuvered around a sharp, narrow corner and out the door. "Gigantic boys" came on time, with a phone call before they showed up to give me heads up, did everything in perfect order and never said no word to my requests of this and that and "oh that too" while they were moving my stuff. I had to move out of my two bedroom apartment into a new one. The team (3 guys) came and began working the minute they walked in the place, they spread out and accomplished rooms separately making it very fast. They packed up my apartment, wrapping everything in blankets and got it into the truck in an hour and 20min!! And we had a lot of stuff. And they had took the legs off all our couches to get it out the door. Smart guys. And they took very good care to not damage our things or the walls. I was impressed. At the new place, they got really creative to get our big furniture in when it wouldn't fit through the door, they were determined to have happy customers. Had a great experience with this company. Movers called in advance to update me on arrival time which was exactly when they said it would be. They were very courteous in handling my items and made a point to ask where items should be dropped off at the new place. They even found some spare change and trinkets that fell out of boxes and made a point of bringing them to me at the end of the move. All three were highly professional, respectful, and great at their jobs. An additional bonus was the Yelp coupon which brought down the total price, and if the move is done in under $50 they wave the trip fee (which it was). read more

Used this company for my March 2016 move and will be using them again in two weeks. The process of scheduling our move was made easy by Gigantic's online operators that chat live via internet. In 5 minutes I was able to get all my questions answered and schedule a truck with 3 movers. I got a call 2 days prior to the move, confirming details, and then a text on the morning of our move to let me know exact ETA. True to their word, our movers showed up right on time and safely/efficiently moved our belongings. The movers were cheerful and pleasant and made us feel at ease with the stressful process. Jose, Jorge, and Johnny handled my move from the Maple Leaf to Ravenna neighborhoods of Seattle. They did a great job. All the furniture was wrapped in moving blankets which were then taped down. Nothing suffered a scratch. They brought wardrobe boxes to hang all the clothes in and they worked hard to bring everything to the right room in the new house. Great experience! Matt and Scott were outstanding. They showed up promptly and really hustled until the job was done. There's a long hallway to get to our place and after they unloaded our bikes and commented on how nice they were I told them they were welcome to use them to move our items down the hall. They took me up on it and it sped up the unload and offered some hilarious moments including seeing them speeding down the hall with our gas grill (with wheels) in tow! On moving day, only 2 guys showed up when I was told we would have 3. It was a holiday weekend so there were some staffing issues. They showed up at 1020a, so not even within the 8-10am window. Job got started late. With only 2 guys to move a 3 bedroom townhouse and lots of stairs, it took all day. Was very happy that they discounted the hourly rate and threw in some boxes and an additional discount at end. Guys were very nice and easy to work with considering they were 1 man short. Today was moving day and a great crew of 4 gentlemen, Cody, Tyler, Xavier, and Ollie arrived bright and early. They went over the scope and hopped to it. The attention to detail was amazing. Along the way they let us know if there may be issues with the furniture. They carefully packed all our fragile items. We had insulin in the fridge (which we moved) and they confirmed that we were aware of its location so we could put it in our new fridge. They constantly checked in to make sure everything was in the right place. It was as seamless and smooth a move that I could ever have hoped for. I completed a move with Gigantic Moving company over the weekend and had really good experience. Shawn and Maurice were my movers and they were very professional, efficient, and ensured all of my items were secured and safe during the move. They didn't bring their normal truck and we didn't have the wardrobe boxes, but these guys combined a few small boxes together and were able to pack all my clothes on the hangers.
