The pricing was reasonable, the reviews were amazing, it was all too good to be true. Move out was fine - no major issues. They did break something at our house and tried to cover it up, which I guess is to be expected. The time between move out and move in was over 2 weeks. I was told to expect 1 week, so I moved my family down, kids included, around that time. I called everyday to get the same notice from Jade - no updates. It was surprising how long it actually took. Then move in was a nightmare. First, the guys were nice, but all of them said they hadn't done a "job like this before" so that was a red flag. They basically unloaded, put 1 bed together, and left right away. The white glove service did not include re-assembling the furniture, other than our master bedroom. AND it was an actual cluster trying to find all the hardware and pieces to do that. These guys, who obviously knew nothing about unpacking, put our OLED tv on its side leaned up against a wall - breaking it completely. Not something you do. And the last and obviously the MOST SERIOUS, they stole a Louis Vuitton purse and Ferragamo wallet out of a clear bin that I packed myself. Someone must've recognized the boxes, because they pulled out both and left the empty boxes. They took over $3k worth of items. And standard liability means that my compensation for all of this is $0.60 per lb. I never expected stealing - breaking is one thing, but STEALING THINGS?! I spent $15k on this move only to be violated and stolen from? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Walk away - go pay a little more for a different company. And insure your items. I filed a police report. I will be filing reports with BBB and FMCSA.

The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. When I called to other movers around i got so many fluctuations in price and time. I called on a Sunday and spoke to John. Very professional and answered all of my questions easily. They are fully insured and bonded. I was nervous asking because I didn't want to be offensive. He said that I should ask such questions. They accommodated me on a crazy short notice. I was looking to move in 3 days. Gave me a decent time window and even called me when they were 45 minutes away. Which was really nice. So my sister didn't have to sit in my apartment with a ton of boxes waiting. Will and Ali both showed up. They nonstop had a smile on their face. Everything I asked was accommodated. Never an angry face. I even asked them to rewrap something and they said of course, with a smile. When we got to the storage facility I expected they would just throw everything in. Two hours from start to finish. They (two men) moved all my stuff from a bedroom to my new studio apartment in under the three hour minimum--but that's okay. With the truck rental it was $437 total. These guys--the do not milk the clock. They move with speed, putting everything in these huge 60" x 24" boxes, except for the furniture. EVERYTHING gets wrapped like a palette 360 degrees around. I just stayed out of their way, and within one hour they had everything loaded up. They brought a 24' truck, which was bigger than I expected. The drive was 30 minutes to my new place and unloading took about 45 minutes. They had me sign a standard moving contract, and I absolutely appreciate the 10% military discount, and another 3% for paying cash. FANTASTIC, could not say one thing bad. They are very careful with my stuff. Absolutely recommended.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. Did not cover much at all. Even cabinet they wrapped was damaged. Items were to be stored in Lynnwood but were actually stored in Tukwila. Travel time more $.

Kevin was kind, professional, and delicate with my items. They did not damage anything and they finished really fast with just 2 guys. Then on the day of they were able to help me earlier than they originally thought and gave me a call to see if I wanted to do the move earlier. They were great at communicating where they were and even arrived at the U-Haul early to see if they could make sure my U-box was there. The two-man team of Sopa and Talia (spelling could be wrong, sorry!) were so courteous and friendly. They unloaded my U-box into a truck in a half hour and then unloaded it all into my new apartment in an hour. They were careful with my things and did the move quick and efficiently! I highly recommend them for any moving help, especially if you may need some last minute help. Great prices, too!
