I told the coordinator that our condo needed us out by a certain time as we were assigned a small block of time, so it was pertinent to complete the move out within 3 hours. On day-of, these guys (Carlos & team) called me at 9am, and gave me a 30 min heads up. We had originally asked for only 2 movers, and they showed up with an extra help (without charge). Holy moly! Carlos & team got us out of the condo by 10:45am. They charge a flat-rate trip fee (versus by-the-minute to/from their office) making it less anxious for me and they even matched another competitor's rates. Highly recommend! read more

Hi, We used this company on Saturday. We were given a time of 12 to 4. They called us at 3 and said they would be there at 4, then at 4 we called them and were told it would be 5, then at 5 we were called and were told it would be 6. At 6:15 they finally got to our house. They left plastic wrap and rolls of tape everywhere after they were done in the house we moved out of. We had to go through the house And clean up after them when they left. They also left a deep scratch in our new houses brand new hardwood floors from sliding our bed frame on the floor. I feel like this is the most unprofessional moving Company we have ever used. They took an already stressful situation and made it even worse. read more

This is my first time hiring Gigantic Moving. Date of move: Sunday 9/24/2017. Pros: 1. Very communicative ahead of the move - I received several texts confirming my move time and answering all of my questions. Very prompt responses to all questions. 2. Movers were on time in the 2 hour window. 3. Movers were very polite and nice. 4. Was able to pay with my credit card at with no additional fee. 5. Sunday move date was super convenient. Cons: 1. They damaged my antique wood dresser. It's now scratched and has a small chip out of it. The mover pointed it out to me and apologized. He said he took pictures and that he'd have his manager call me so that they could make it right. It's been over a week and they have not been in touch. 2. I had 2 boxes labeled "fragile, do not put anything heavy on top!" I pointed them out before they loaded the truck. When loading and again when unloading they stacked 3 additional boxes on top. Luckily nothing was broken. Take away: if you want a moving company that is going to move you on time from point a to point b at a reasonable rate, they're great. If you want a moving company that's going to carefully transport your valuables, I suggest you keep looking. read more

The communication and setting the appointment was simple. Very Easy process. The movers were nice and courteous. The reason for the lower rating is because of a couple of things: 1- the move was big. We were supposed to get 4 movers to come help us move. We had 4 at the beginning and the 4th had to leave for something he had to do. This left us with three movers, who ended up getting burned out. Longer break times. Longer time to pack stuff. Longer time to load stuff into the truck. This added hours that were easily avoidable. They did get a 4th, but the other 3 were already tired and burned out. Also, the movers literally spent around an hour trying to get other movers join them. They did not work at all during this time. 2- the situation above affected the delivery to the new home, where the walls of the new place suffered dings and scratches. They also could not put the furnitures back together. Only one bed was put together (but it was missing pieces, which we had to put it back together). Also, there were many boxes that were not correctly labeled or not even labeled at all. This made things worse. I was thinking about rating them lower, but I only pumped it to 3 because of the booking process, as well as the movers were generally nice. read more

I hired Gigantic for my March 6 2017 in-town move. The two-person crew was awesome and took great care of my stuff while working quickly. Moises and his coworker (can't remember his name off the top of my head - who worked with Moises on March 6?) were very professional and communicated with me the whole time during the move. My only wish is that the truck be sized to accommodate the move. The company seems to only have 1 size of truck which is, you guessed it, gigantic. Since I was just moving a 1 bdrm appt my stuff didn't even take up 1/4 of the truck, so a decent amount of time was dedicated to arranging things in the very front of the huge empty truck and making sure they were secure. All in all the move went well and I would recommend Gigantic and these two movers who helped me. read more

I can't say enough about this company. The initial inquiry I made was met within an hour as I was called and asked for more details, as opposed to them sending an email. The young lady who assisted me with the details was friendly and knowledgable. I received a phone call 24 hours prior to my move, as well as received a call prior to the movers arriving. Because I was moving from a pod being stored at a freight company, the movers met me at the requested address. Upon arrival, I was told there were three movers and that I would only be charged for two. Further, the three guys were highly professional and cordial. Once they arrived and started loading, they had my move completed in 1 hour and 45 minutes, including travel time. I was impressed by their efficiency and just overall attitude. Jesus and Margin were amazing- they showed up promptly within the window of time dispatch gave, they carefully moved boxes and furniture down and I even saw them lightly jogging from the front door to the the elevator letting me know that they were not only aware of the time but were actively using the best of it! When our car got a flat and I had to leave my partner to change out the tire they offered drive to where he was and change it out for us. Overall, my experience with this company was fine. My husband and his friends moved most of the boxes the day before the moving, so the two guys from Gigantic moving only had our furniture and some big boxes to move. They brought a small truck, so they had to do some Tetris and figure out how everything will fit, which took extra time. They also didn't have one of the tools they usually carry to take furniture apart, so they had to go buy one, hence it added more time. Had we not moved all the boxes the day before, it would have been two trips = more cost. The guys were very nice and hard working tho. I'm just not sure why the company sent a small truck. I feel like it would have been cheaper if we had a bigger truck and all the tools. read more

I did not use this service but just called for an estimate. They refused to come out to see us, also refused to ballpark the cost over the phone. They just gave me an hourly rate or 150 an hour and 150 trip cost. When I asked them how long it would take to move us, he couldn't tell me that either. All he could tell me about was his great reviews on Yelp. How am I supposed to know how much our move will be or budget for it if they refuse to tell me what I'm paying until after the move is done? Moving on... Edit: added another star for their call to me regarding this review, and leaving a message when we were not home. Unfortunately, I had to remove the star because they called us again, my husband put them on hold to get the phone to me and they hung up. I just don't think this is a good fit. read more

Thomas and Cody were awesome movers! Kelly - the scheduling rep was very helpful via the online chat and over the phone. To start off we had two Uboxes shipped to the Auburn Uhaul (which was a major fiasco). The guys from Gigantic were understanding and worked with the Uhaul company to try and expedite the process. It took the guys under 3 hours to pack the items from the Uboxes, make the small trip to our apartment, and unpack the uboxes up to a 3rd floor. We will definitely be using Gigantic from start to finish the next time we decide to move. read more

My star deduct is because the people who manage the trucks didn't provide a ramp and sufficient tie-downs to secure the load...which made the move take longer than it might otherwise. The crew (DJ and Dale) were fantastic! Very careful of our furniture and keepsakes, organized, and did not take breaks. Given that they didn't have a ramp to load our very heavy stuff should allow for 10 stars! We would use Gigantic again. read more

These guys were great! Efficient, knowledgeable and fast. They protected the TV, furniture and glass, broke down/reassembled everything as well. I loved that they lay down mats so they don't track dirt on your clean floors! They were the least expensive compared to the others I got quotes from and moved me in barely 5 hrs. Unlike others, they're a $150 flat fee per hr plus $150 trip fee and have a 4 hr min on the weekends and only a 1 hr min on the weekdays; makes it easier to guesstimate your costs. Highly recommend! Gigantic was fantastic. When I called and booked them, I was told I would need 3 movers for my job. This worked out to be about $20 less per hour than a couple of other movers in WA quoted me, so I accepted. The next day they called back and said there was some confusion in their office and I'd really need 4 movers since I had a heavy piano included in the job. The new quote was $30 higher per hour, and more than any other quote I had gotten. I told them to keep me scheduled, but that I was displeased with this change in rate (I had made them aware of the piano in the very first call; this wasn't a surprise addition). A few hours later their manager called me, apologized, and said they would do it for the 3-person rate. I was pleasantly surprised on move day when 4 men showed up but they confirmed they were charging the 3-man rate. Everything with the move went well. It happened on the day of the worst storm in the Seattle area in a number of years. The movers did a great job getting everything into the truck quickly, so nothing sat in the rain for too long. We're still unpacking, but so far I've only found one damaged item, which is considerably less than any other move I've had. read more

I've moved 14 times in the last 20 years and this was the worst moving experience I've had. So much of my stuff was damaged. Glass broken, file cabinet scratched and dented, wood headboard with large gouges in it, etc...They said they would provide mattresses bags, but did not and they made me put my tv in my car. I only moved 8 miles there shouldn't have been this much damage. I moved 2000 miles last year with Atlas and there was no damage. I should have used them again. Shame on me for trying to support a local business. They were very friendly and accommodating. That is the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. read more

I have moved several times, and I have never been more dissatisfied. I got 2 movers and 1 truck. One of the guys was nice and personable, but that's the only nice thing I have to say. I had hardly anything to move, but got movers because the place I was moving to had 3 flights of stairs and I knew I couldn't lift the couch and my bed up by myself, and felt bad asking friends to help. They completely took their time and there was a lot of standing around. I was able to overlook this until I came back to my old apartment after the move, and realized they didn't move the heaviest item...the bed frame/shelving. They said that I told them to take the mattress and that is all. Who would even say that? The next day they came to move the bed frame, and they arrived late, were unfriendly, and they were cussing up a storm the whole time. I chose Gigantic because it had good reviews here on yelp and it was really close to where I was moving to. They quoted me something like $450 (this was for my move last year so I don't recall exactly.) I wanted 3 people even though it was just my 1 bedroom apartment, I know I have a lot of stuff. On the day of I was talked down to 2 men because the dispatcher "had done this tons of times and 2 people would be plenty for a 1 bedroom." Despite my instincts I went with him, instead of taking half a day it took a whole day and I paid $930 (plus a tip to the movers, but that was optional I suppose), quite a lot more than the quote. I know a quote is a quote, but it was pretty unacceptable. I am moving from my apartment again this year and was looking for movers and came across this listing and just couldn't let it go anymore. read more

Great moving company - movers with Jesus and 2 others (forgot their names) were good and worked hard to move our 2 bdrm condo to the house. What I really appreciated was that they made mistake on scratching the floor (about 3-4 inch,) they owned up to it right away - he immediately called me up and told me about it. The transparency AND they paying another vendor to come out and fixing to our satisfaction shows their commitment to customer service. Some might be put off that they mistake in the first place, but honestly they had plenty of moving rugs and tapes, I'm surprised it happened in the first place.
