We used this company because a friend recommended them. I should have looked for a company with better reviews and prices on my own. 1. They scheduled me for 1 truck, 3 guys, for moving Saturday, but they ordered a second truck and 3 more guys in a surprise turn of events and so i got charged out the ass, and after the truck was unpacked, they kept BOTH trucks and all 3 extra guys there while only 2 of the first guys from the first truck worked, i paid for a whole extra crew to basically stand outside doing nothing, ABSOLUTELY CHEAT OF MONEY 2. They brought my desk in and didnt put it together until i reminded them, and THEY LOST THE SCREWS to it, so they used small screws to make it look together but the moment i went to move it, it fell apart because they used the wrong ones, wow really guys? So we spent the next entire day going back and forth from Lowes, getting different screws to fix my desk since they lost the original ones 3. THEY USE HORRIBLE TAPE!!!! They taped the keyboard slider on my desk with clear packing tape or something stronger, because when i took it off, it peeled entire chunks of my desk's flush off. As well as our TV stand, good bye nice looking furniture, its not got tape flesh peeled parts all over it. 4. This one is probably my fault for TRUSTING THEM - they packed up my computer and my monitors, and they just CARELESSLY put my monitors in a box, with not NEARLY enough bubble wrap, and when i opened th ebox, i found they even positioned the screens so one corner was PRESSED AGAINST the other monitor!? At this point i HAD to take a picture of this, i was disgusted with their lack of care for other peoples things. - Adding on this, THEY USED FREAKING DUCT TAPE to hold the very minimum bubble wrap on them, and there was duct tape DIRECTLY on my screens?! It is lucky my monitors still worked, or this would be worst than just a google review. Un-freaking-believeable the entire headaches i'm now going through after this move. I'm finding living room stuff down in the garage boxes, and my kids toys mixed in with her grandma's garage tools, getting ruined, this is disgusting. They werent worth the money, If i could go back, i'd rather do it all myself than hire this crew that over charged me, then continued to charge me for a crew that wasnt even working. My new neighbors used this moving company. The movers apparently took the time to climb onto my retaining wall and take a huge boulder off my property without asking, to prop up their tires. When they were done, they didn't put it back, they just left it on the ground across the alley from my house and a huge gaping hole in my retaining wall. Several neighbors saw them do this. 1. They could have asked me first and I would have said yes if they would put it back 2. They clearly don't respect other people's property. I mean, they had to go up my stairs and pry the Boulder out of my retaining wall. You really want to use a moving company like that that doesn't respect other people's property? If so, good luck! This is unfortunate that it comes to this. This is the second time we have used them, and the first time was good. This time- it was a small move, and really not to complex, yet they managed to damage both a piece of furniture as well as the floors and door frame of the house. OK, accidents happen, but respectable businesses are then ACCOUNTABLE for the accident and work to make it right. Fast forward to 4 months later- We gave a ton of room for them to make things right. BUT, after months of chasing them, filling out forms, keeping after them, we finally receive word of a paltry $60 settlement for damage to a bed that cost several thousand dollars. But as to the damage to the LITERALLY 2 WEEK OLD Hardwood floors? Apparently we are lying about that. We were told that those scrapes must have already been there on floors that were laid 2 weeks prior... Really unfortunate, but no other choice but to recommend not trusting this company for your move, unless you are prepared to also pay for what they damage in the process. read more

4 stars for the first time we used them, but 6 stars for the 2nd! My boyfriend used them to move his apt into a storage unit and bring some stuff over to my apt. He hired 2 guys, and while they were nice and did a good job, they didn't move that quickly(although, the elevator at his building having problems might have had something to do with that). We booked them again for the move to our Condo but this time we hired 3 people. What a difference a 3rd person makes! They were able to move a 1 bedroom apt, a storage unit full of stuff for another one bedroom apt(including taking some stuff out of the truck and into the storage unit) out to Issaquah in under 3 hours! They were fast, nice, and super efficient. They wrap all the stuff for you so nothing gets dinged up. We packed and moved all of the small stuff ourselves so they mostly just moved furniture and bulky stuff for us, but they did a great job, for a great price. As another reviewer posted, these guys are anything but fast. It took 9 hours to move my two bedroom apartment 15 miles to the new house. In the process, they also lost a $300 piece of Army-issued equipment. I got the runaround when I called to file an insurance claim, and was eventually told that because the insurance is based on weight, it only applies to furniture. Avi generously offered to give me $100 out of his pocket and I accepted. BUT HE NEVER SENT THE CHECK! Avi talks a good game, but watch out for Quick-Move. read more

I used QuickMove for my last moving because of all the great reviews, but I was slightly disappointed. Truth be told, Avi was very courteous and friendly. And he did arrive on time. But there was nothing special about the service. Scheduling was easy. The 3 guys who came in were polite. However... there was nothing "quick" about their service. Please don't get me wrong. I am not bashing them. I am just saying that they were not any quicker than other moving companies I have used in the past. Handling was less than average. I got more knicks during this move than any other. I was moving from one high rise to another high rise within 2 blocks, so they chose not to spend much time to protect my furnitures. I didn't really like how they were covering my mattress and just sliding it down the truck's dirty floor. I had to pay extra 125 dollars for my piano. Avi told me that that WA has specific law to charge flat fee for piano and that it comes with special padding for protection. Strangely, during the move, they just brought the flat wheelie picked up the piano, placed it on top of the wheels and pushed it out. No crates, no blankets, no nothing... hmmm... One thing that really annoyed me was that Avi kept saying how the elevator is so slow and because I live at a high level, it takes additional time to get down... I mean... it's 1 second per floor... and it's not like I live at 100th floor... I wish he had spent more time directing the two guys moving the stuff because they sure didn't know how to be efficient with time and space in the elevator. They were taking elevator trips with only half full. On both ends of the apartments, I had reserved the service elevator, so they could have filled up the elevator, but nope that did not happen... CONCLUSION: These guys are not bad. But... they are not great. Certainly not a 5-stars review. If you are not on tight schedule, you will like them. They are clean, nice, polite, courteous (they were even asking me if they can use the toilet), and "safe". For those of your moving from or to a high rise apt/condo, please consider not using them... seriously, the constant reminder of how the elevator is slowing them down was very very very annoying... and frankly sounded like an excuse for his slow workers. read more

We had a GREAT experience with Quick Move, doing a cross town move. Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional and they were able to accommodate the challenges posed with the nuances of our move and quickly overcome the surprises that invariably happen with any sort of undertaking of this scale. Avi came to do our estimate, and he was great at giving us an assessment of the job. I explained to him potential challenges of our particular move and he was very accommodating. First, our building's loading dock could only be reserved from 10-2 on move out day. Additionally, I knew from when we had our couch delivered that it would not fit into the elevator. We were on floor 7 and the loading dock is on floor 3 - the couch would most likely have to be carried down four flights of stairs. We were getting both pack-out and move-out, so we had scheduled for a Friday pack and Saturday move. A week before, my wife and I decided to try to move things up by a day so we would have an extra day on the weekend to unpack. I emailed Quick Move and they said no problem. The pack-out was extremely efficient. They hit their estimate on the nose. Move-out day came and I get a call from Avi around 9:30 AM (30 minutes before the loading dock opened). The movers had been in a car accident on the freeway (the other person's fault) and had to wait for the police to show up and then switch trucks. Avi took complete ownership of the situation, knowing that we had a 2:00 cutoff and time was tight. He told me he'd send extra guys at no charge to make sure we hit the cutoff and assured me everything would be fine. The movers showed up around 10:30 in good spirits although there were a couple of visible bumps and bruises. Even still, they got right to work! They were extremely quick in getting our stuff out. Avi came by about halfway through the day to check in to make sure everything was back on schedule. Simply great customer service! They had everything in the truck right on time and off to the new place. Unloading went smoothly with no hiccups and they were out right on time as well. Again, the move-out/move-in had hit the estimate right on the nose. These guys are amazing. The customer service, the personal touch, the efficiency - all made what is generally a stressful event go as smooth as possible. Every step of the process, I felt like any concerns were quickly put to rest and everyone did a great job of simply making us feel at ease about the entire experience. This time we used these guys for a full pack + move services for our 1 bedroom apartment. Three movers arrived on time with all packing materials. It took one guy about 3 hours to pack our kitchen stuff in more than 20 boxes (we have way above average kitchen stuff than any household of 2!!). The other 2 guys packed the rest in 2 hours. They loaded the all boxes & furniture in a 20 ft truck and unloaded them to our new place which is about 2.5 mile from the old one. The entire move took about 6.5 hrs from packing to drop off to the new place. The rate is very affordable and no deposit / hidden or extra fees / trip fee. Returned customer gets 10% off!! They were on time, quick, and professional. My move was a bit chaotic, as this was a divorce situation, and there were many things that were left to the last minute in terms of deciding what to take and leave behind. Having a tough time writing the review though because they did fit me in on the same day which is pretty freaking awesome. Crew was relatively quick and professional (3 person crew), didn't see any damage from the move. It's just tough to give a 5 star review though after paying over $400 for roughly 10 pieces of furniture and a few boxes of stuff. It was $150 an hour and 30 minutes was traffic and 15 was for their return after moving me for a total of 2.75 hours. I guess I thought we'd be done a lot quicker when I estimated cost after hearing the hourly rate and taking the bed apart and wrapping the furniture took longer than I estimates. Anyways, seriously struggling with this one in picking between 3 and 4 stars... wish I could rate 3.5. But price is huge and they also forgot to call 30 minutes before coming over as agreed which led to me speeding home as they waited so next time I might see what they can do for a flat rate instead of hourly. read more

These guys did great work on my recent move, including a treadmill that's an absolute beast and had to come down a flight of steps. They far exceeded the service provided by two men and a truck, which I used on my last move. Four guys came out and made quick work of my 3 bedroom house (I had them do only furniture and large items). They were in and out in less than 4 hours, compared to two men and a truck at 9 hours (2 people). Do the math before you get a moving service, it might cost more per hour, but if they are sending more people the overall cost will be lower. read more

Pros: --When I called the phone number someone answered right away and they were able to schedule me within 5 days. --Both movers were very kind and courteous --Zero damage to any of my items --Very reasonably priced ($191 to move 2 beds, 2 desks, 2 55" tv's, 2 computer chairs, a filing cabinent, 5 random boxes, 20 bags of materials, 4 tires, and AC unit, and other misc. stuff) --Took their shoes off every time they stepped on the carpet --Took the stairs instead of the elevator because it was "quicker", even when moving the beds and heavier items. They get paid by the hour to... That pretty much says it all. Cons: None Other: ****Juan and Rowland**** were the two movers that helped me last Wednesday. I have to say I was really nervous about having someone else move my things, because I am so picky with them. But I just had surgery and didn't really have a choice. Overall..... They came on fairly short notice, sent the same crew I had an amazing experience with the previous time, and the guys managed to do the entire move to Kirkland (including helping pack some items I didn't have ready!) in under 3 hours. I am little upset about the process because I did my application for moving labor only and the manager fail to communicate with the driver I had my own truck. I went out in the morning to get my truck and the moving company came here with their own truck and it was not communicated to them about my request. Seriously, Avi (the owner) blew us away. We're a small 6-person business that moved for the second time in 5 years and quite frankly, our motto for this move was "none of us break a sweat". And we didn't. Avi came out and took a peek prior, estimated a price, said they'd be there at 1:00 and would be done by 5:00. AND HE DID EXACTLY THAT! Showed up perfectly on time, with 3 guys (I wasn't too impressed with their attitude, but hey, they're carrying my heavy desks and I wasn't, so I dealt with it), told us to relax, don't worry, totally settled our boss' nerves, and got to work. We had a tricky staircase with many heavy pieces of furniture, and everything made it down, out, and up the new building without so much as a scratch. NOT ONE SCRATCH. They were done 15 minutes early, and billed us slightly less than estimated. Avi redefines what customer service is and should be, especially in an industry as brutish as moving. He had his guys place everything perfectly, reassembled our larger items for us, made sure everything worked right (even fixed a desk drawer that had never worked), and was unbelievably friendly, professional, and caring. We're buying more furniture soon, and we will DEFINITELY call AVI to deliver it for us. They didn't bring a big enough truck and had to do two trips! Since it was the second move in one year, I knew exactly how long the truck should be to move all of my stuffs at once trip. And I had shared the information with the owner, but still they insisted on brining a smaller one saying it would have been okay. But it was't actually... That explains pretty much all. Total disaster. Scheduled with them for one date, then had to reschedule for a day earlier. Called the day before to confirm, and was informed that they still had us scheduled for the first date. They "fit us in", but arrive an hour late, (9am instead of 8am) and then the movers informed us that they could not move the upright piano. I had two conversations by phone with Quick Move's receptionist prior to choosing this company, and during both I was assured that they could move the piano (I gave measurements) and was never told of an extra charge. Then the movers are at the house, and won't do the piano without an extra charge, but also don't think they can move the piano at all. We get the owner on the phone, and he is certain that we are fabricating our claims. Ended up sending the movers back, and using a slightly more expensive, but ever more gracious, company. read more

I ordered THREE men.. two show up being rude and speaking another language in front of me, and when I call about the missing third man I was told he may or may not shot up!!. I was already on the phone with some other tool who I made the initial order with and he apparently he told them to go! At LEAST they could wait until the third guy got there! First of all... there needs to be VERY CLEAR communication on what is expected WHICH I made very clear! I TOLD them that movers in the past have gotten the job done in an hour to an hour and a half tops! Anyway they just show up with one man short and tell me they want to spend at least four hours.. well YEAH its gonna take more time with TWO men! While I'm on the phone discovering the two men just left without telling me the owner tells me that he's not going to work with me! I said EXCUSE ME?! Then he tells me that he told those two to just leave and told me tough $hit! I told him I was going to report everything that happened and then he THREATENED me! He told me I better watch what I do or he'll cause me HARM! I told him oh really! I might as well file a police report after having my SAFETY THREATENED! Bro... go ahead and follow through with your threats! I DARE YOU! What a lack of character to threaten to cause a woman harm, and guess what buddy, you will NOT intimidate THIS woman! Like I said go ahead and follow through with your pussy threats! You are NO man to talk to anyone the way you talked to me today! All of this is UNBELIEVABLE! I got off the phone with the state and they told me if any damages incur over being ABANDONED that I have the right to sue! I was counting on this company to move me out TODAY! I am not an easy person to please and I can honestly say that this company exceeded my expectations. When I think of moving companies, I think of the nightmare movers you see on Dateline where they extort extra money from you to unload your stuff but Quick-Move is clearly a different kind of business. These guys are as good as it gets. We relocated across the country last year and friends of ours recommended a local mover. I called them and they never called me back but Quick Move answered my call and came out for a quote right away. I thought the quote for hourly and flat rate were competitive and I found out later we saved quite a bit compared to some friends of ours that had a similar move. We decided on the flat rate move because I wanted to have the most efficient move possible. They called to confirm the day before and the day of the move 6 guys showed up with 2 trucks. They were great. I've never seen people move so fast. They were careful but had the boxes moved out of my house in record time. I was moving out of a 2700 square foot house with a stocked garage and they loaded the truck in 2 1/2 hours. All the while they were careful with some VERY expensive furniture and electronics. At one point, they realized the truck they brought for the garage was going to be too small so they quickly called for another one. It arrived by the time they told me they had called for it! At the new house they didn't so much as scrape a wall with some very tight spaces. Along the way they graciously asked me where to put the furniture and made quick work of arranging it. I've moved a lot and I've never seen people move such large furniture through some narrow spaces with ease. In the time it took me to arrive at the new house, order some pizza and have it delivered, they had completely finished unloading and re-assembling my furniture. We were eating pizza by 2 p.m. I've moved a lot and quick move was not only fast but they were careful too. I can't say enough about them other than call in advance because they're busy! read more

I do NOT recommend Quick Move! I used Quick Move to move from Bellevue to Seattle. Moved from a 850 square foot apartment to a 1200 square foot townhome. The move took 13 HOURS!!! Although they came over to the apartment to give me an estimate, they didn't bring enough boxes or a big enough truck. So, they had to scavenge used boxes from the apartment complex. The crew couldn't communicate well with each other because two of the movers didn't speak English, while the supervisor spoke English. Since there weren't enough boxes or big enough truck, they had to make two trips to Bellevue to complete the move. They had trouble getting the boxspring upstairs and tried to tell me that it's not possible, as though I was to set up the bed in the living room. I had to tell them how to maneuver the boxspring to fit it up the stairwell. Finally, because the move took 11 hours more than they thought, they tried to guilt me into paying $200 more than the estimate. Thank God for the movers laws in Washington State. This is not a professional moving company. They are a team of guys that brought a few trucks, picked up a few laborers and decided to start a moving company. When I called to report that they had broken a few items, they said they didn't know what to do b/c they have never had that complaint. They were supposed to call me back and I've heard nothing from them. Please be warned! read more

Excellent movers! We scheduled them for 9am on a Friday and they were 15 minutes early, prepared with blankets, tape and handtrucks to make it go smoothly. They made sure to wrap alllll the furniture to protect it and were very careful and courteous. They also took off their shoes and helped put things in the right place. They moved our 2 bedroom condo in 3 hours. Would use them again.:) read more
