Everything about this process was amazing! I scheduled to remove 8 filing cabinets of various sizes and received a phone call within 10 minutes after sending in the request. They were able to send someone over within just a few days. Today I just had Hanook and Brook (apologies if I spelled their names wrong) pick up all of the cabinets and they were so nice, helpful, and very quick! They got all 8 cabinets out within 30 minutes! The driver and helper were polite and efficient (and strong!). They took everything from bicycles to vacuum cleaners to living room furniture and beds. I had a queen mattress and a coffee table to be removed. After some yelping, I just found Junk B Gone and sent a request online on Tuesday. Surprisingly, a few minutes later, I got a response from them saying they could pick up items on Thursday. When I asked for a ballpark estimate, she gave me a reasonable range, so I accepted it. I had great service on the phone. I clearly laid out what I needed gone, an old camper trailer. I let them know that I have the title, the wheels are in great shape, I sent them pictures. I let them know that they needed a tow hitch to get it out of my driveway. The next day at 12:45 I got a text that they'd be there at 1pm. I hustle over to the old house and get there on time. I get it all ready to go. They finally get there at 2:30 with a dump truck that has no tow hitch. They call for another truck. Another dump truck shows up, still no dump truck. They promise to come back with a pickup truck and let me know it'll cost 580, a hundred more than I was quoted. I don't care, I just want to get it done by tomorrow morning. They tell me five different times today that they're definitely going to be back. The supervisor promised me, and told me it would be free if they're late. They never even showed. No phone call, no text. All of the times they claimed they'd be there passed and it was getting late so I called another service. They came out in two hours for $200 less than Junkbgone wanted. Trailer is gone and while Junkbgone screwed me over, they also saved me money by getting me to hire someone else. read more
