Received phone call 15 minutes prior to arrival. The team arrived on-time. They were all very professional and friendly. They did a walkthrough of the area, provided me with another updated estimate after seeing the job and then went to work. The Busby team did an amazing job clearing the areas at my parent's house. Since they don't actually know what they're working with until they arrive at sites, I'm guessing that can impact their schedule. We made sure to keep the afternoon open so the delay wasn't a big deal for us. Note that there are some small fees for hauling certain items like mattresses, as stated on their website. Everyone we communicated with was very friendly and personable. Clearing out junk/preparing for a move is never an easy process so their upbeat attitudes was an unexpected but welcome surprise. read more

The company had immediate availability was a great since I was on a time crunch. For a 1 bedroom/living room place it filled up about 75% of a truck, which was around $560. This was lower than other junk removal companies in the area. 2 really nice guys came and finished in a little over an hour. First hour of labor is free (I wasn't charged for any extra time for labor). The apartment was on the 7th floor and they didn't charge extra for that - some other companies did (even though this place had an elevator). There is a $30 charge for each mattress and box spring. And there is only a 3 or 3.5% waste tax, no sales tax. I would def use them again! read more

I researched several companies to have several large items removed from my home and Busby Junk Removal was the clear winner. 1. After I requested a quote, the response came back within 20 minutes with the quote and a thorough breakdown of the pricing. They booked the date and time and we were good to go. Other companies either didn't get back to me or bombarded me with sales and marketing and I hate that stuff. 2. Their pricing was half of what a few other places I looked into had quoted ($129 vs $300+), and the workers also assessed the amount of stuff we had and gave me the same price that was quoted. I love knowing what I'm paying for. 3. The company communicated their arrival time very clearly leading up to and the day-of the service. The workers also called me with a heads up when they were headed over. I've had experiences with other companies where people either show up super early or super late (or not at all) without notice and it makes it extra stressful, so I appreciated knowing exactly when they would arrive. 4.
