I got the combination plate, can't decided which version of the pork was better. I really enjoyed the soup served alongside

My friend and I came to this restaurant for its grand opening for lunch. We would like to try their rice porridge (Cháo lòng). Their rice porridge was alright, but it had a kind of sweet flavor. The waitress was unfriendly and the service was typically average Asian style, which lacked customer greeting.

The presentation of dish was very pleasant to look at. However, the taste of the dish is very underwhelming. The pork chops was hard, and the rice is between the line of soft and mushy. This was my experience at the restaurant. Overall, there's room for improvement.

I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and it was fairly empty/ not busy! As it was just me, I only…read moreordered one meal so I can't speak for anything else besides the sliced beef udon. The menu was quite expansive but cohesive with Italian/ Asian fusion. I got seated and immediately was given a menu and cold water in a stainless steel cup. I ordered the sliced beef udon soup version (there's also an option for stirfy) but granted, today was cloudy and slightly windy so it called for soup. After placing my order, I was given the proper utensils and shortly after, a large piping bowl was placed in front of me! Flavor was good and the sliced beef was addicting.. the portion was a bit much for lunch to me so I had to ask for togo and the waitress came out and put it away for me in a custom togo bag that sealed so that was fun to leave with. The waitress was certainly very tentative and made sure other guests had their waters filled at all times so I'd love to come back to try out their other menu items like their omurice or their lobster creamy rice. Location: in the Dun Huang Plaza across from HMart. The parking is shared with many of its neighbors but if you plan it right, you'll be able to snag a spot close by and walk less than a minute. Price: $14 before tax and tip (ended up around $18 afterwards)

The restaurant is cute and clean. The calamari ended up being a lot more than we expected. It was only okay, slightly crispy but also a bit dry. The variety of sauces was a nice touch. The also got the satay beef udon, which was a dry pasta dish. This was comfort food in a nutshell, something not particularly spectacular but still tasty. It had a good portion of meat and the noodles were nice and chewy. Probably should have tried some of their other more popular dishes or come in more hungry. Portion sizes were quite large, so had plenty of leftovers despite not ordering that much.

I visited this restaurant since someone in my group wanted crab noodle soup. The funny thing is he…read moredidn't even end up ordering that dish though as he got temped by another entree. Their menu consists of apps (mostly fried), soups and salads, lobster dishes, steaks, vietnamese seafood dishes, shellfish entrees (clams, scallops, etc), an oyster section, stir fry dishes, rice creations, and fried seafood dishes. They serve beer and wine but have some Asian wine-based cocktails. This is truly a fusion restaurant since they have Vietnamese, American, Chinese, Thai, and Peruvian influences on their menu. They have boiled seafood, of course, including crawfish during the season. On every table is also a $12.95 lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and seafood dishes. This may be one of the better deals out there. We tried a few dishes: drunken lobster, surf and turf, crab fried rice, drunken tofu, and shrimp with salted egg. Two additional people in our group came a little later and actually ordered the lunch special (pork chop plate) and chicken wings. Their napkins are a little strange as they're tri-fold style like you would normally see in a restroom. The dishes were pretty good, but I ended up eating mostly noodles since their garlic noodles are pretty addicting. The sirloin that came on the steak dish was supposedly a little tough but that is typical of a basic sirloin steak. I didn't actually get to sample it since other people grabbed it before I could. They only had L and XL size lobster the day we came...so they said their prices were around $90 and $108...I think we selected the $90 size. The drunken lobster dish can be shared between 2 people as it's a big platter but just 1 cut up lobster. The garlic noodles beneath the lobster pieces on the drunken lobster are way better than the noodles beneath the shrimp and steak on the surf and turf since they are stir-fried with lots of onions, jalapeños and what seemed to be small ground pork/beef chunks.

I went here because I saw the garlic noodles online they looked really good, so I was tempted to…read morecheck it out I ordered the garlic noodles with the surf and turf. The steak was a little tough.....sliced really thin with 3 shrimp on top. I put a picture on here for reference. It didn't look super tasty but it wasn't too bad. I asked for them to make it spicy, it was spicy and I feel like I'm still on the search for a better garlic noodles. The drunken wings were really good. The truffle fries were good. They also had happy hour when I went happy hour is every day from 5 to 7...even on the weekend. I went on a Saturday Also during happy hour oysters are a dollar I did not get any. The duck look really good. The duck is prepared to order. It takes about 45 minutes. A few orders of that went out. Will probably go back. Customer service was cool. Dennis is the best. Thanks for taking care of me.

Great sizzling & ramen spot in Bellaire + more…read more Really enjoyed our visit at Toyori in Bellaire. The food was delicious, flavorful, and comforting, and the service was friendly throughout our meal. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy ramen with family and friends. There were 18 in our group, so there was understandably a bit of a wait to accommodate us, but it was definitely worth the wait. Definitely recommend trying this place if you're craving good ramen and Asian fusion dishes in the Bellaire area! The Ribeye sizzling plate is a MUST-try--especially with their signature sauce. So flavorful and satisfying. Their takoyaki tasted so authentic, it felt like being in Japan--another must-try Overall, an excellent dining experience and we would definitely come back again!

The kaarage wasn't crispy at all and the dumplings just tasted like basic chili oil you find in a jar. ******The business owner did comment stating that their chili oil is made in house, which is great, but for me and my experience I wasn't a big fan. My comment still stands :) *Entrees: 7.5/10 I am a big unagi fan and was really excited to try the one here. Unfortunately the mountain of sauce on top was not good therefore making this a solid 7/10. My husband got the spicy chicken one (not quite sure exactly which one) but he really enjoyed it. 9/10 I got the Spicy Miso with a side of ribeye. I feel like we've had better ramen elsewhere but this was still a solid contender. And the steak was actually really good! It was super soft. Overall 7.8/10 Lastly we received a yakult when checking out. This was a nice touch to end the night! Overall review: would only come back for the ramen broth and the meats! Skip the appetizers!!

We chose the crawfish smothered in the garlic butter. The crawfish themselves were boiled, and you had to order them by the pound so come prepared and come hungry. They came out very fast too. I have to warn you though you really have to get your full face into there to experience it. It's messy, greasy and part of the culture. If this isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend. You have to really get in there to peel it and break the shells as well as devein them unless you're okay with eating it whole. Overall, great flavors but also by the end I'm not sure if it was the butter, but I also felt very heavy after. The restaurant provided with gloves, napkins, and water. Service was fast and easy. We ordered, ate and were out. Parking is not a problem. The interior of the story is kinda small though with only 20 people worth of seating.
