Let me say this as clearly as I can, the donuts and crullers we just picked up were FANTASTIC, as fresh as could be, and 100% wonderful. I loved their Cherry Cake donut! It was so big I really should have split it with my wife but didn't. They have 28 flavors on their website, baked in small batches with rotating flavors. Prices start at $2.49 for a single classic glazed donut, then go to $2.99 for a filled donut (jelly, custard or fruit), and then $3.25 for Specialties. It's a good bakery, stuff is always fresh and the flavors in each of their cupcakes, muffins, breads, and other misc bakery items is present and forward. They know that they are good, and charge accordingly. Given that there's no direct competition in a 10 mile radius (and I would argue even past that 10 mile radius the pickings are slim) the price is justifiable for the quality you get. As someone who treks a lot around the state, I find that there are many bakeries that do similar if not better items for comparable if not lower prices. But to ask someone to drive 30-60 minutes just to get something a couple bucks cheaper that's tastes about the same? It's a hard sale. I will say that Luanne's is the best in that area of the state, not including the small boutique places that are well off the beaten path. I still come here for the view and ambiance, but I don't order much of their food.

We got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and a jalapeño bagel as is. They were so soft and so delicious. We also got a blueberry scone, a chip cookie, and an assorted box of Halloween cookies This scone itself was good, a little on the dry side, and the chocolate chip cookie was tasty. The Halloween cookies were just generic, and weren't anything special. I would definitely come back here to get the bagels and try them all if I could!.
