Partially eaten split portion of Wasabi Caesar Salad. It doesn't look like much in this photo, but trust me it's fantastic.

Geronimo was highly recommended by family members so we made a reservation in advance and went for dinner our 1st night in Santa Fe. It is a 25min walk from the downtown plaza area so we drove. It was in the art gallery area in an interesting building. The ambiance and decor were incredible. Our waiter was very personable, fun, and friendly. It had a cozy atmosphere and all the staff were great! Overall this was a fantastic experience. Definitely go while in Santa Fe if you can!! We were greeted with a glass of champagne, which was lovely. We shared the Wasabi Caesar salad, the Lobster -Poblano bisque, and the Grilled Beef Tenderloin. The Wasabi Caesar is a MUST!! It is interesting and absolutely delicious. I'm not usually a soup person, but the Lobster-Poblano Bisque sounded good. The poblano was not totally obvious. Overall the flavor was nice. The tenderloin was fantastic as well. It was perfectly prepared. The meat and the sauce had great flavor. The cheese-potato terrine was interesting and very good. Our waiter spoke highly of the Fresh Meyer Lemon Crêpe dessert. I'm not a big fan of lemon desserts, but my husband wanted to try it. It is definitely a large portion. It was refreshing. The lemon curd and the crêpe were the best part. It comes with Limoncello which we poured on top. We didn't love that flavor, so if you try it I'd sample a small bit with it first. Apologies, I was tired from traveling and enjoying conversation with my husband. So, I only remembered to take a photo of the Wasabi Caesar salad after we started eating.

Been here twice in two years and got the elk tenderloin both times. That's my endorsement. Service is outstanding and knowledgeable. Desserts are inventive and delicious. Valet guy is super helpful but clearly could use a second guy.

Geronimo is an absolutely perfect dining experience. Every dish and glass of wine was perfect. Service was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally attentive. It is as beautiful, elegant, quiet space and I like the no cellphones policy. My only small objection is that as a tourist in the area, I felt it was an exceptional meal that I might have in many larger American cities. The cuisine was not unique to New Mexico. If I lived locally I'm certain I would not feel this way. Would definitely go back any time I was in the area again.

The food was exquisite! It was just the server interaction felt a little off. I was not offered a complimentary champagne while other table around us was served and idk. The food was good it's just that interaction. Food 10/10 and service was 8/10

Excellent food, great service, fantastic ambiance. Grilled lobster tails were very tender, elk tenderloin had great flavor, oven roasted beet salad also very good. Lobster bisque was incredible, crab dumplings could've been better. The lamb chops and white prawns were also excellent. Food came out quick, inside was spotless, our server Pablo was great. Definitely pricey but the quality makes it worth it.

Excellence.... It's a given that The Michelin guide is sleeping on Santa Fe but this place in particular blew our minds. We saw the reviews and thought how good can this place really be? Well let's start with the entrance, there isn't a seating area so don't arrive too early but the actual layout is impressive you are greeted by two eternal flames the layout of the restaurant is like a labyrinth. Not all spots created equally, but regardless of where you are sitting the food and service are exceptional. Sure it's a little bit pricey but if you go al la carte you looking at $100-$125 pp all in. The four course vegetarian at $80 is phenomenal value. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and his passion shined through every interaction we had. The dish that blew me away the most was the elk, it was holy cow... probably one of the top 10 most satisfying meals I've had the pleasure of consuming. Please don't come here if you're in a rush. This is an experience meant to be savored and good cooking takes time. The area around the restaurant is gorgeous and historic. Great place to meander and people watch.

Nearly five Stars and nearly a thousand reviews... that's pretty much all you need to know :) The food here is first class; the other reviews dig into the details of particular dishes. My recommendation is to order dishes that are more 'different' from each other & then share. The building is from 1756 (whoa) with extremely cool atmosphere. If you're a foodie [and if you're a Yelper you probably are], definitely go. Reservations *strongly* recommended, if not (almost) required

We visited for our anniversary, and enjoyed Joseph's excellent service, a fine meal, and yes, two desserts because even though we've been married a long time, we couldn't agree on one. Amuse-bouche: Wild mushroom and sherry bisque Appetizers: Seared foie Tuna tartare Mains: Elk to avoid food envy, though the lamb chops looked good as well Dessert: Meyer Lemon Crépe Warm Organic pear and almond tart (If I were to choose only one, I'd choose the lemon crépe).

The food are amazing here. one of the best in Santa Fe, but also it's on the pricy side. the space is elegant and best for a night out to dress up. pay attention to the art decor on the walls, they are very unique and mesmerizing. We had reservation and were seated right away with a glass of complimentary sparkling wine to start while we are looking at the menu. Wasabi Caesar: must try, very unique with Crispy Rice "Dice". Lobster-Poblano Bisque is very rich and flavorful. Pan-Seared Foie Gras is nice but portion is very small. Grilled Maine Lobster Tails is my favorite of all, the flavor is very rich with garlic and creamy in the angel hair pasta Green Miso Sea Bass is nice but the noodle kinda taste like instant noodle and a little lack of flavor with the broth Tellicherry Rubbed Elk Tenderloin is very tender and juicy New Mexico Four Corners Grilled Rack of Lamb is a strongest meat dish of them all, very large size of the lamb and cooked in perfection.

We have been coming to New Mexico for almost years now and when we come here we love to reserve us a table for 2 every time! Again, we were not disappointed when we reserved a table for two on our wedding night. We eloped here and so happy we did. The service was everything it always has been and the food was spectacular as usual too! First they brought us out a pea soup which they always have and highly recommend having this if you love pea soup. This is up there with the best I've ever had! The ambience is amazing here too, it's great for celebrating special occasions but it's more of an "intimate" atmosphere. They have some outside seating as well and a small bar but I'm quite sure you should call to reserve your table or bar seats. Valet parking is available and there's also street parking or there's a parking lot up the street where you can pay with your credit card.

This place feels very intimate and special from the start. The cocktails are very good, with the bourbon bramble being a real standout. The caramelized pork belly was our favorite starter. The fish special was delicious, but the beef tenderloin was a bit underwhelming. The meat itself was a tad under seasoned so the veal demi was doing all the heavy lifting. The pistachio tres leches was the best dessert we had on our whole trip to Santa Fe.

My mother and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Geronimo on Canyon Road, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Set inside a beautifully restored historic adobe home, the atmosphere is both elegant and warmly inviting--perfect for a memorable evening out. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Our waitress, Cari, delivered truly superb service--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm. She made thoughtful recommendations and ensured every detail of our dining experience felt seamless and special. The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was artfully presented and layered with rich, well-balanced flavors. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and crafting a menu that feels both creative and refined. We each enjoyed our own Oven-Roasted Pork Belly appetizer - aaahmazing! Very generous portion of lobster with the Grilled Maine Lobster dish and the Oven-Roasted Beef Short Rib was cooked to absolute perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant with Cari and all the staff for your next evening out.

Fiery Sweet Chili & Honey-Grilled Mexican White Prawns, DELICIOUS!

My daughter got us an early dinner reservation on Saturday, because everything else was booked. And there is good reason. We were greeted immediately by the hostesses who were very nice, and seated us straight away. From the outside of the restaurant, it is somewhat unassuming, but when you enter, it is elegant, very clean and stylish. Our waiter was not far behind after we were seated, took our drink order and when he came back a short time after that gave us the rundown on the days features. We ordered a couple of appetizers, the Slow-Braised Short Ribs and the Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Sashimi & Tartare. When they arrived, they were plated beautifully. And the taste, OMG, the short rib was one of the best, if not THE best short rib I have ever tasted. Cut it with a butter knife and it just melts in your mouth. Super delicious. The tuna and tartare were off the charts as well. So flavorful. Forgot to mention the breads, the green chili biscuits were excellent. I mentioned how good they were and our waiter and he brought out another bowl for us. I ordered the Fiery Sweet Chili & Honey-Grilled Mexican White Prawns for my entree because I mentioned how I like my food spicey and the waiter agreed that is what I should order. He even brought me out a side of the chili sauce so I could add some to my entree. The prawns were large, the rice cakes were delicious as well. A great choice! My daughter ordered the Grilled Maine Lobster Tails, that is her go to at Geronimo, and I now know why. I did get a taste with the pasta. SO GOOD! This is what I would order the next time there. Between the service, the ambiance, the drinks and the food, all top notch. You cannot go wrong dining here!

Does Geronimo allow patrons to bring your own bottle of wine?

I do not know, so I would call them to confirm.

Does Geronimo have a full bar?

Do they have a Corkage fee?

They do not have a corkage fee. The restaurant lobby is sufficiently powerful in New Mexico that the entire state does not allow a corkage fee. New Mexico is one of only 14 states that still kowtow to the restaurant Association.

    What is standard seating?

    Indoor, regular table.

Is there a bar? I would love to try a cocktail or two, but we have dinner reservations elsewhere.

Geronimo has a Bar. As far as dinner elsewhere. I suggest you cancel and dine at Geronimo. You wont be dissapointed

About how much $$ did you drop per person? I'm feeling decadent.
