What a great experience at SantaCafe for dinner on a Friday evening! My dirty martini was crisp and perfect, the salmon was flavorful and hit the spot. Our server was attentive and helpful. Would absolutely return next time I'm in Santa Fe!

Amazing!! The desserts, main course, lunch or dinner, everything is made with careful preparation and very innovative. Very unique. The wine and cocktails are also delicious. The staff is lovely, very knowledgeable, kind, caring and provides excellent service. As a native New Yorker, who has lived in Los Angeles and Paris, I had a great experience.

We came here on Christmas Day for dinner. Even though the staff were running ragged, they all took great care of us and made our holiday special. The lobster starter was a standout, as were the sea bass and filet mains. The lamb was good but the couscous side was underwhelming. Major holidays can be very tough but I would happily go back.

Def will return: the cured salmon is 6 star. An elegant restaurant in the former home of Father José Manuel Gallegos (1815-75), with a lovely courtyard filled with scriptures and a fountain, and indoor sections. It's an in between meal for us, we shared cured salmon and a salad. Both are wonderful, especially the salmon which I think deserves 6 stars.

Touché, Santacafé, Touché - I see you! Aces across the board on service, selection, presentation, layers of flava-flav, and starting off with the gruet was a nice touch, indeed! From the first bite of cornbread & honey butter, to the delectable appetizers, savory entrées and capped off with a delicious cappuccino and dessert, I was wooed each step of the way. Really looking forward to returning, perhaps for a lunch.

By far the best meal we had in Santa Fe! Everything was delicious[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was fantastic. The bar area really coolThe whole place was high end.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]We will definitely be back. The pineapple dessert was out of this world.

    Best part of the meal!!!!

I've eaten here multiple times over the years. Tonight I ordered the lobster roll, fries, dumplings and Manhattan all of which I ordered before. Tonight's roll was a bit over sauced and a little light on lobster. The dumplings and fries were as expected. Manhattan was done nicely.

This place is great! Went here twice in 1 week; first for a bridal luncheon and again with my cousin 3 days later! Service is great, food even better. I really enjoyed: the calamari was light and tender, Asian Chop salad, Porcini mushroom soup, citrus Arugala salad special pasta and the Budino for dessert!!

Went here on a Saturday night. We were sitting outside. It was a beautiful evening. We had the dumplings and elk carpaccio for starters. The dumplings were great, but the carpaccio was too thin and turned into a glue-like substance. For the main course, we had a rack of lamb, beef bourguignon, fried red fish, and salmon. The lamb was overcooked, but they comped it. For dessert, we had the fruit ice cream. The service was good, but slow. They offered us champagne if we returned due to slow service. Overall, a good evening with a few missteps

Had another great meal here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is so beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was fantastic... very enthusiastic about the food and patient with other tables and their ridiculous requests. I highly recommend not leaving here without dessert. The opera cake is perfect Also I did not know this on my first visit... ask about the history of the building and stand over the original well near the bathrooms.

Me, Mónica, and our terrific server, August! Very.Well.Done!!

Each day someone else was working the counter and every single person was inviting and friendly. We tried the iced caramel latte and iced brown sugar espresso. The caramel latte was our favorite. The inside is dirty and uninviting but I was needing a place right away so I committed. The carrot cake looked really good so I asked the girl for a piece. She was very odd. She started at me as if she couldn't believe someone asked for the carrot cake. She said something I couldn't understand. My friend jumped in to help but she just looked at him too. So odd. Eventually she handed me a styrofoam container with carrot cake in it. I also ordered a small Americano. The Americano was good and the carrot cake was good, but it was a small piece and not worth $13! I asked for the Wi-Fi password, but the other girl working in the counter also kind of stared at me and shrugged her shoulders. I asked again she said "I don't know it" I tried to ask the other girl and she said"we don't know it because no one's ever asked for it before". I said, "but you're a coffee shop and the Wi-Fi is there for guests. We just need the password." And she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I had to do my Zoom call on my phone walking down the sidewalk because I wasn't staying there.

The latte didn't do anything for me...it was overly sweet without really tasting of honey or lavender, and was too thick or something. The doughnut, however, was a different story. The blue cornmeal gave it a really nice texture--a bit crunchy, and the icing had actual lavender, not just flavoring. Best $2 I've spent today! They also have Hagen Daaz, for those who are into eating ice cream when it's 33° outside.

We tried a couple of different coffeeshops around Santa Fe, and this one was our favorite by far. I got the Murmuration of Starlings and it tasted just like the name! It was sweet without being too sweet and the rosemary, thyme and cardamom gave it a unique twist. This place is on the smaller side and there's not a whole lot of seating, although they do have a few outdoor spots. I also care about the vibe of a place, so the breakdown is 5-star coffee drinks, but ho-hum 3-star service, hence the 4-star review instead of the 5 I would've loved to have reported here. The place is a few blocks from where we stayed and was easy to walk to and find, knowing I'd be looking for a sign with a few animals on it and it may not be obvious to some that this business is a coffee shop. I ordered the Crash of Rhinos, which fits their clever theme. The drink was just sweet enough and unique and flavorful. However, when we walked in, there was no barista or anyone at the front to greet us; we didn't mind waiting a minute or two for someone to show up since it was clearly open and there were a couple customers inside (and duh, we were on vacation and not in a hurry). When the nose-ringed hipster-looking girl came around the corner I was disappointed that we were not greeted with a smile or a good morning, or "sorry to keep you waiting" kind of phrase. She took our order, made our drinks, and did not say thank you (I did, and tipped her $2. Why, I'm not sure). That was that. Hubs ordered the spicy mocha drink and it was a bit much; he decided it would be better iced or he'd try a different selection next time. Yes, there was a next time. Different barista, same kind of treatment. Still tipped just because I was a barista for many years and know this really helps supplement a worker's salary and encourage good communication with customers. This time I ordered the Murmuration of Starlings latte, which has rosemary, thyme, and cardamom notes. It was delicious but similar to the Crash of Rhinos drink. The third time we visited we entered through the Chocolate and Cashmere shop next door. I found it funny that the nose ring barista girl happened to be in that shop talking to the girl who worked there, but when we walked in, she quickly exited back to the coffee shop to sit with the other barista at a table in the coffee shop. The chocolate shop girl was so sweet and we even visited their location in the Plaza a day later and she was just as nice, even though that day we did not make a purchase. Overall I do recommend Crash Murder Business for their coffee drinks, but don't expect friendly service. (If you're looking for that, go to Iconik up the street!) Just because you work at a coffee shop and you have a cool haircut does not make you above others. Especially when small businesses work to please their customers and should encourage their return. Kind of a shame...but I would still go back for the coffee if I were ever in town again.
