    Lovely sunset out the window.

My evening here on October 29th was delightful. I was visiting from Keller, TX. Arroyo Vino was absolutely comparable to my favorite French Restaurant in Ft Worth, Saint Emilion, in quality, service and ambiance. The location in the foothills was lovely and private. Watching the sunset was exquisite (see my photo). The hostess from Texas and I connected. She made my visit so enjoyable. I started in the wine shop stocked with wonderful wines from around the world that are not usually seen. I purchased 2 quite affordable wines. John, my server, was so professional and friendly. He made recommendations upon request, and I considered them with value for the excellent knowledge he has. There are 3 to 5 courses depending on your level of hunger. Water comes flat or sparkling. Matching wine to what you wish to eat at each course is the best way to order. Again, John gave me asked for suggestions. I ordered the Smash Burger for my main entrepreneur. It was delicious! However, I did remove the peppers as they were spicier than I expected. My mother who is gluten-free was back at the hotel, therefore, I ordered her a Smash Burger without peppers or bun since she had gluten-free bread. She said it was the absolute best burger she has ever eaten! My appetizer of bread and cheese was exquisite! I skipped the next course and ordered my main dish. I also skipped dessert. With my 2 glasses of wine and food, I was fulfilled. It was a joyful outing by myself while my mother rested. Bravo!

Amazing meal at @arroyovino last night. The 2016 Pagodes de Cos and Duck Confit together was mind blowing Everyone loved their meal. The Cabbage appetizer was especially delicious. Beautiful space, great wine shop as well. Professional yet friendly service. Can't wait for my next visit.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant with amazing views, music and flowers everywhere. The service is impeccable and informative. The cuisine is worthy of a James Beard Award... someone please tell them ;) This restaurant is a must if you're celebrating a special moment in Santa Fe!

We were tipped off to this great restaurant/wine shop by a sommelier at a restaurant in a different city. It was a great referral, as the food is superb. The grilled artichoke made a nice starter, and the house-made chicken liver was wonderful. We also really enjoyed the spring salad. The chicken had a great coating of Indian spices, and the halibut also offered a nice medley of flavors. Of course, being attached to a wine shop, there are lots of nice selections on the wine list, although we would have liked to have been able to browse in the shop and then take a bottle into the restaurant. Wine prices aren't exactly bargains, but it is a ritzy part of Santa Fe.

This was our anniversary dinner for our trip. We planned it a few weeks in advance. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but I was wrong. Jonathan, our waiter, and the staff was on their A game and I doubt they are ever off of it. Beyond the service the food was incredible. Every course complimented the next and stood on its own. If you are in Santa Fe and are a food and dining experience lover you have to come here. Thank you Arroyo Vino staff. Shout out to Jonathan (spelling?). A magical evening.

Fantastic meal! Nice atmosphere, great service, beautifully prepared and presented dishes, lots of menu options with an expansive wine list. Pan Roasted Scallops w/curried cauliflower puree, peas & nut dukkah was tender and delicious with a nice blend of spice & nut flavors. Grilled Artichoke pesto aioli was quite good, but the star of the meal was Pan Roasted Cauliflower, with quinoa, dates, carrots, saffron cauliflower purée, and pistachio/sesame dukkah. Tastes as great as it looks. Vanilla Panna Cotta was a perfect ender. Will definitely visit again when we're in Santa Fe.

Salted caramels as a birthday treat. They were incredible!

I ordered number 2 to pair with my (incredible) FRENCH ONION SOUP If you have that on your menu I have to try it but this was truly exceptional ! Following that I had the New York Strip. Medium rare. GREAT but I did ask for a side of Green Chile. And Garlic Aioli for the potatoes Nicely cooked but I added some salt and chile to make it pop my taste buds. YES. I would order it again the same way The Pork Chop looked great as well Desert was also very good. Truffles and Port wine ...I love Port wine (Spicy chocolate truffles with lovely RED CHILE in them) I think I'd give these guys 6 stars of if I could because Armando was so cool toward me !

Perhaps Hervé suffered a little from our having eaten exceptional tapas the night before (vara), because the comparison was hard to avoid. The New Mexico wines were fine, but coming from California, we probably have a fairly high bar when it comes to wine. A nice atmosphere and an enjoyable enough evening, but overall the food and wine felt more average than memorable.

That kind of hospitality makes the whole meal feel elevated. I had Le Flor, a gorgeous pink gin and elderflower cocktail that was as lovely as it was refreshing. The mussels with green sauce and dipping bread were an absolute must-order -- we could have made a meal out of that alone. The mango gazpacho with honey drizzle was bright, unexpected, and delicious. We also loved the chicken thigh skewers, which were flavorful and tender without being fatty, served with a beautiful yogurt smudge on the plate. The grilled eggplant with capers and manchego was another favorite, and the jamón croquettes were crisp, savory perfection. Creative food, thoughtful service, and a warm Santa Fe atmosphere. We were warmly greeted and we're happy. It was on the quiet side since they weren't busy yet. By the time we left, it was busy! We really enjoyed our server, Paris. He was warm and seemed to take a general interest in us. I shared my concerns with him that my pallet doesn't tolerate much spicy. He at all. He assured me there would be no problem in accommodating that. He started us off with a complementary prickly pear & lemonade drink which we loved! He also provided a complementary appetizer which was very unique and made out of avocado and mascarpone and some other items I don't remember. Why I didn't love it, I did enjoy hasting something so unique and different. We started with the best cornbread I've ever had that shaped like a cob of corn with three different kinds of butters. The cornbread is $12 and worth it! Next came the Caesar salad wrapped in some kind of egg roll wrapper and topped with an anchovy mixture. We split it so we each got two rolls which was plenty. We very much enjoyed the flavors in the salad. Don ordered the Wagyu short rib with polenta. While we don't love polenta, this was tasty and complemented the beef nicely. Don said this was the best short rib he ever had. I wish I had a picture of how they presented it. When they took the lid off, there was a lovely steam cloud and it smelled wonderful. I had scallops with each one placed beautifully on top of of really interesting wild rice and finished with toasted coconut. The pineapple salsa and the Hoja Santa Fe Oil were placed in small rounds in the middle of the dish because they had some kick to them. What was especially impressive, is the gentleman who brought out my meal leaned over and said that the Chef wanted to let me know that the two items in the small dishes had heat to them, but I was encouraged to give them a try for the full flavor. Impressive! I was able to enjoy the pineapple salsa, but the oil was a little too spicy for me, but I'm glad I tried it. We would've loved to try dessert, but we were fully satiated by our delicious meal. It was quite an experience and we look forward to returning.

She can take what feels like sixteen orders at once, remember every single one, deliver them with absolute precision, keep the entire room moving, somehow do the math in her head, and still make every customer feel like they're the only person sitting at the bar.
