Making it sound like it was on its way and never once saying it could be a day or so from this morning. So I called back late in the afternoon trying to find out why I haven't heard back and she told me I couldn't get it until tomorrow. I explained that my wife needs it for work tomorrow and why wasn't I told that. She then said she did tell me, which she did not. So after she hung up on me I called back and I asked to speak to her boss. He was no better than she was in rudeness and professionalism. Years ago, I had dealt with them before and now remember what she was like that time too. They may do great work there but I wouldn't know it but I'll tell you what with those attitudes I will never go back there nor recommend them to anyone I know. I have never been treated so poorly by people who want to continue to do business in this town. On day two sometime just after 11 AM the lady from the front desk called with the estimate and we decided not to have the work done, she was angry and upset. I said I was leaving to pick up the car and that's when they told me it was taken to a subcontractor and she'll call me when it's back. I tried to interject that I would go pick it up, but she made it sound like it was already on the way. I was working and lost track of time and it got to be around 5 PM and I called back and she said the car is not there yet and that it would be there tomorrow morning. I told her that was unacceptable, because she knew my wife needed it to see patients as a traveling nurse. She said, I told you I'll call you when it's here and hung up on me. She knew from that morning that my wife was a traveling nurse and had patients to see the next day and needed the car but that didn't matter to her. Day three of dealing with Rich Lucas of Lucas Automotive Specialties and his representative at the front desk. I arrived at 8 AM, and another man was trying to help me but when Rich walked in he said I was wasting his time because I was looking for the best price for the work I want it done to the car and that they don't do estimates unless the work is being done there. (I ask you, what is an estimate for if you're gonna have to have the work done there and you don't have a choice once you get the estimate? No one I've ever dealt with before after getting an estimate done has demanded that I have to work done by them because they did the estimate. That is utter foolishness. So not only is he a mean old man he has deceitful business practices any uses fear and intimidation to try to get you to cave in to his view of things. We weren't even told until day two the car was taken to someone else to have the estimate done.) I went there at 8 AM to pick up the car and was told by Rich Lucas I don't listen because they said they would call me and no one called me. I said I understand but we need the car and I'll go pick it up. Rich said angrily, we don't work that way now get the "F" out as he stood up and pointed at the door. I said you're withholding my vehicle from me out of spite because we didn't have the work done here and I don't owe you any money, I'm calling the police. After the police came, he finally said the car would be there at 9 AM. I went back home and picked up my wife so she could leave straight from there. We arrived at around 8:40 AM and by 8:55 AM her car was still not there. At this point she took mine to see her patient and I waited inside where I could continue to watch the parking lot entrance. At around 9:20 AM I saw out of the corner of my eye Rich get up from the front desk and go back into the shop and then a few minutes later he showed up in the parking lot out front with my wife's car. Rich Lucas made me wait an additional 20 minutes, past the time he said the car would be there, knowing he had the car in the back the whole time. When he finally showed up with the car he had come from his back lot of which there is no access, except through the front entrance of which I have been watching since 8:40 AM. This means he is a deceitful, spiteful, lying, cheat. That's just my opinion after dealing with him for three days. It's also my opinion, based on my personal observations that he had my car the entire time and he was just being mean and spiteful.

Miroslav and his wife were excellent to deal with and everything was explained as to what needed to be done to restore it to new condition. I picked up my truck three days later and it looked like it did when I drove off the dealers lot! Miromax is truly an outstanding shop that was clean, organized, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Car was clean and looked better than new. Don't go to a collision shop for paintless dent removal, go to Miromax. I was originally going to go to a collision shop, until they said that they were going to have a PDR shop (30 miles) from my house, do the work. I said NO, and I then chose to use Miromax. I try to be very disciplined in leaving 1-star reviews, but this business deserves it. I came in with a scratch that started at my driver-side door and ended on my passenger door. I was quoted and given an estimate by an employee. I called back to schedule a drop-off and a woman who called herself the owner was so difficult to speak with. Not only did she over-talk me, but she bad-mouthed her employees. She followed by saying her employee shouldn't have given me an estimate. I said, well why is the employee working there then? The owner replied, "Well she's new." To which I responded, "Well why was she left alone then?" I continued, "I have an estimate in the name of the company and I'd like to drop my car off and for the estimate to be honored." After going back and forth for 18 MINUTES, she finally agreed to "allow" me to drop my car off so that SHE could take a look. I got to the business, and the owner was even ruder in person. Then she said, well this quote is no good. Let's walk outside so I can give you a real estimate. Then she said, what [former employee] quoted you doesn't cover repair. So the scratch will still be there. After more back and forth arguing bc she wanted to double the price on me even though I was holding the work order in my hand showing her, I just left. My time and well-being are too important. I saw other negative comments about storage fees being 3x the industry standard - it's true ($110/day). I saw comments about the owner being unpleasant - it's beyond true. Avoid this place. It's not worth the price or the headache.

Honest-1 (the District Manager) tells me that there is a "hole IN my flex pipe" and that the y-pipe is in really bad condition. He tells me that instead of paying $637, I should replace the y-pipe as well because it's not going to last me and I should just pay the $700. He told me I should make an appointment to get it done asap. He kept asking me "how about tomorrow", "how about Thursday"... I asked him to show me the hold in my flex pipe, but he wouldn't. I wasn't feeling to good about this. When I walked in to Honest-1 Auto Care (Ogden and Eola in Aurora), I immediately got a bad vibe. Can't really place it, but my gut felt something wasn't right about this place. Now, I'm female and over 50....don't know too much about cars but my gut had a feeling that because, 1) they would NOT take me to look under my car when I asked them (when they had it up in the air) and 2) the jargon they started mumbling about, trying to confuse me, felt off. I attached a picture of the real problem with my car. DO. NOT. GO to Honest-1. Had I not had that gut feeling and went with them, I'd be out a whole lot of money. They should change the name of their damn business!!! Epilogue: I took my vehicle to a place in Lombard for an estimate on referral from a friend. This auto care that I went to in Lombard took me under my car and showed me exactly what was wrong. He told me that the flex pipe did NOT have a hole in it and it just needed welding. He also showed me the y-pipe, which was in great condition as well. It ended up costing me $180! Please, save yourself some money - do not go to them - and I know the name is attractive and all, but they were all about the money.
