(6 out of 5 Stars if I could!) In a world where genuine…read morecustomer service has become completely rampant with apathy, Boyce Auto Werks stands out as an absolute masterclass in professionalism, honesty, and integrity. I will be the first to admit that I am an absolute snob when it comes to attention to detail. I am completely "anal-retentive" about my vehicle, and my standards are incredibly high. If you are like me and hesitate to trust your car with just anyone, let me save you the stress: do not hesitate for a single second to bring your vehicle here. This is your place. The ENTIRE experience was flawless from start to finish: The Front Desk Team: The two ladies at the front counter are phenomenal. Every single time I called or walked through the door, they were patient, deeply helpful, and genuinely caring. Their warmth meant a lot to me, especially during a incredibly difficult personal week following my father's passing on March 27th. Communication & Care: I dropped my car off and picked up my rental on Monday, March 30th. Kyle was outstanding to deal with. He was patient, highly communicative, and thoroughly answered every single email and phone call I threw his way. Unmatched Integrity: This is what sets them apart from every other shop in the country. They accidentally caused a minor scratch on one of my windows during the repair. I hadn't even seen it yet, but Kyle proactively called me, took full ownership of it, and completely replaced the glass and the window tinting at zero charge to me--while covering the extra days on my rental car without a single drop of friction. That level of transparency is unheard of today! They literally left no stone unturned--they even have excellent, high-quality candy in the waiting area! I cannot think of a single thing this business could remotely improve upon. Boyce Auto Werks has earned a customer for life. If you want pristine work done by honest, meticulous people who actually care about their customers, look no further. (note to the owner: please seriously consider giving these three people I dealt with raises as they more than deserve it)

This place provides exceptional service. Now there are two Caliber Collisions right next to each…read moreother. One deals with progressive insurance customers and the other I believe is Geico. This review specifically refers to the one that deals with progressive and I'm pretty sure it's the address 801 (actually it's 701!!!), but when it all comes down to it I'm sure the service between the two is completely identical. On January 3rd the new decade was off to a great start when I walked outside and saw that someone had did a hit and run on my car. They damaged the left side of the rear end and left a decent dent. My auto insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision, I brought my car in that Tuesday and they analyzed the damages with me. They told me everything that would have to be replaced etc, just gave me the full details of what they will be doing to my car. Great professionalism from the very beginning. I believe my car was ready around Jan 15th, or somewhere around the date. It took them about a week and a half to fix my car, and when I picked it up they even gave it a car wash and vacuumed the carpet in the passenger seat area. My friends were in my car for the new year and the carpet was a little dirty from all the snow/ ice/ salt etc. so I really appreciated the extra mile they went to vacuum my carpets. What I also enjoy about this company is how they are partnered with Enterprise, so when you drop your car off with them someone from Enterprise will pick you up, so you can rent a car. Overall phenomenal service, the only criticism I have is they are not very upfront about how much the repairs will cost. I didn't know until it was time to pay. The repairs came out to about $2,300 (ish). Quite frankly, in my case it really doesn't matter. I paid the $500 deductible and Progressive handled the rest. Which is why you should ALWAYS drive with insurance. I'm sure the person who did a hit and run on my car didn't have insurance . Jokes on them, they can drive around town with a battered dent up car; however as for me my standards are too high for that. ESPECIALLY since I'm paying a car note. There will be no dents on my car, none. A big thanks to Caliber Collision for helping me out and providing the most exceptional service. They have really raised the bar. After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers!

The repair would have cost $600. The service writer told me the paint would come off with a rubbing compound (Maguire's scratch X is amazing at getting light scratches out) and a paint pen would fill the deep scratch. I followed this advice and saved $575. So when my new car got damaged that needed actual repair, I took it to Carstar and Phil was the service writer I spoke with.
