Accidents are no fun, but especially when it's your first and having to go through the process of dealing with insurance and figure out where to go to get your car fixed. After doing quite a bit of research on several shops nearby, a lot of these insurance recommended shops felt like high turnover and didn't seem specialized for Lexus vehicles. I even made a point to call the nearest Lexus dealership and they recommended what felt like a random "mom n pop" shop. As a last resort, I ended up going through the Lexus website where I found Boyce was one of just a handful of Lexus certified shop in the Chicagoland area. After some initial conversations with Kyle and Josue, I could tell they were considering many different aspects of different safety features that could have been damaged from the rear impact collision. This attention to detail sold me, and although I had to wait a couple weeks to bring the car in for repairs I was convinced they wouldn't miss anything during repair. From the minute I decided to go with Boyce, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Boyce took care of any necessary correspondence needed with my insurance company, scheduled Enterprise Car rental to pick me up from the shop, and were very responsive to any calls or emails checking on status. On completion of repairs, I came in to pick up my car which looked pretty close to brand new, however I had noticed some new damage to the driver's side door which wasn't there before. Luckily, Boyce takes hi res photos of the vehicle before taking in and were able to confirm they were at fault. While it was inconvenient to have to bring my car in a second time, I'm just glad Jim was able to confirm and take care of the damages and 2nd rental vehicle. That was very professional, honest, and detail oriented. Knock on wood I don't need to ever come back for repairs, but if I do I know who to call. 'Til next time, cheers! read more

I had to do a double take when I picked up my car it looked better then new,it took almost 2 months but it was not Boyce's Fault the supply chain & finding older parts for my 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo which Hyundai doesn't make anymore,for the life of me I can't figure out how in the World they found all the parts needed to finish but they did. The time did not bother me,I don't rush anyone then it seems like they have more time to do an Amazing Job like Boyce did. A Special Thanks to Vince he kept me up to date the Whole Time,they made me think what else could I have them do. 2016 was clearly not my year. First I got into a car accident in a McDonald's parking lot, and then I accidentally hit the mailbox backing out of my driveway. Chalk it up to bad luck. However, thanks to Boyce Body Werks, the car looks as pristine as ever! Boyce provides extremely fair and reasonable estimates in a very timely fashion. They are always willing to work with or without insurance companies, and handle a lot of the paperwork with regard to insurance claims on their own, taking that stress off you, the customer. Let's face it: when you get in a car accident, the last thing you need is additional pressure. As for the work itself, as for the work itself, Body Works does a time not. Job I cannot even tell that the car was ever in an accident. The paint matches exactly, the detailing is perfect, and the attention to detail is obvious. When it comes to car repairs, I can't say I have had many positive experiences before, but Boyce Body Werks proves that theory wrong by putting out a perfect product every time, with excellent customer service. Raise your hand if you absolutely love car accidents and auto repairs!! Um...yeah...didn't think so. And the last thing you need to deal with when you're faced with a fender bender or in my case an all out assault on the front end of my '07 Audi A4 is an incompetent repair shop. So that's why I felt the need to give my "Boys at Boyce" some props. Ironically I found Boyce Body Werks by chance after a search on a well known search engine (no not G**gle) yielded a review. I liked what I saw and from the very first phone call until the day Boyce personally delivered my car to my front door I was pleased with their work and professionalism. The team at Boyce exudes professionalism. They are proactive instead of reactive. They tell it how it is and don't sugar coat. They act as an advocate on your behalf when dealing with your insurance agent. Example: The initial insurance estimate performed on my car was ~3K worth of repair damage. Once Boyce took control of the car, took the whole thing apart, and did their own analysis they were floored by how much the insurance agent "missed". They called the agent and told the adjustor to come back and reassess the car. When all was said and done there was an additional 10K worth of repair damage. Simply put Boyce refused to sacrifice on quality and avoid the typical shortcuts that insurance companies take to save money. As for the quality of work...Boyce blew me away with the finished product. They walked me through every detail (4 pages of line item repairs) and made sure I understood what repairs were made and why. Their paint job quality was absolutely perfect. I mean they were dead on with the paint and quality of application. It's as if the car just rolled of the assembly line in Germany. Audi would be proud. And to top it off Boyce provides a 100% lifetime guarantee on all their work as long as you own your vehicle. That's confidence. After I got my car back I found a few minor things that still needed some attention. Boyce was immediately responsive and made sure to address these issues no questions asked. I've had my car back for about 3 weeks now. It's as if I never got into an accident. The car is as solid as ever and in fact I think it actually drives tighter than when I first bought it. If you live in the Fox Valley area (Boyce has a Naperville location too) and you're in need of a high quality auto body repair shop you must go to Boyce. Will you pay a little more then the chop shop down the street? Yes but if you care about your car and quality of service you'll go to Boyce. read more

The main reason I do not recommend this shop is lack of communication. I had my car repaired there a while back. I was given a completion date and called that day only to be told it would be another week. On the day OF the estimated completion, you would think they might call ME to let me know. After another week, I called again to be told it would be a few more days. Again, it was ME who had to call them. Clearly this place is a taking on more business than they can handle. Anyone can do a good repair and this one was average, but I want customer service too and will bring my business elsewhere and recommend others do the same. Boyce Body Werks is still working on some issues that was caused from being repaired. When I picked up my car from being cleaned up we noticed a dent in the new hood. (They had a difficult time figuring out how to fix it. When up no dent but when closed there was a dent. They figured it out. - Why didn't they catch it before they gave it back to me?) Also, when our children were in the back seat they noticed that the air vents up top weren't working in the back of my SUV. To top it off they put dirty hand prints all over the ceiling of my SUV, front to back. (It happened when they pushed my liner back up.) So back we went. They fixed it all and gave me a rental car for the day. (Their guy forgot to hook up the vents.) The next day we went to pick it up yet again. We checked out the vents and they worked. Then we also wanted to make sure that our DVD players still worked while we were there. I even had a movie in the player. It worked in my dash but not in the 2 DVDs players. We showed the gentleman and now we have to go back yet again on September 9th to get that fixed. Come on, REALLY At this point I think 3 stars is being very generous, but things are being fixed, but after I have to bring it to their attention. How many times? Who does quality control? read more

Just picked up my brand new CR-V from Boyce Body Werks in Naperville after it was swiped by a novice parallel parker. They went way above and beyond what was expected. When I took it in of course it was dirty with all the snow. They washed it and even wiped down the interior! Additionally I had a low tire pressure indicator on when I dropped it off. I then almost immediately received a call from Kyle, and since then, everything has been a breeze. Kyle and Mark and all of Boyce have been taking care of everything from A to Z and filling me in every step of the way. I have not seen the work but based on my experience so far, I have trust that everything will look great. I could not recommend these guys more, they turned a really difficult and stressful situation into something I could take off my shoulders and rely on them for. Please read this before supporting this business! I hit a cars bumper and they told me they would only go to this repair shop to get their car repaired. The estimate they gave me stated $1,000 to repair the rear bumper that was not even cracked. The high charge was for 13 hours of labor to repair and paint the bumper. I didn't want to go through my insurance because I didn't want my premium to raise. I posted a review a few weeks ago because I thought they were overcharging me. In response, this company threatened me. They replied to my review and said that if I don't delete my review they will not work on the car I hit, because they don't need a bad review. I deleted the review to avoid conflict, and I respected the other person's desire to get their car fixed here. A week after I deleted the review, I felt even more targeted when the company raised the estimate from $1000 to $1,800 for "additional damages found". I feel like the price was raised as a result of my first bad review. I feel robbed by this company because they charged a high price knowing that the work would be paid for by a "third party". The high cost also could have been because the women knew the body shop. They threatened me because of my review, while my intentions were to simply warn the public of the scam this company put me through. I know there are cheaper and other great quality body shops in the area that everyone can check out! I have a personal experience with this body shop as they have disrespected me online and took advantage of me. I am not upset that I had to pay for the damage I did, but I am upset that this company held my review against me and was very immature by threatening to refuse service to the other persons vehicle, until my review was erased. If you love,"your baby", as I do. If your car needs any type of body work performed. If you let anyone other than the staff at, Boyce Body Werks, lay a hand on her, you would have to be plum crazy... My experiences with them dates back to their previous location and my family has had at least 6 cars, "restored" by them. Without any reservation, I can say they have always exceeded all my expectations... both in service level and work performed. From the moment you walk into their lobby, you are treated like family... and the way they approach your car, is if it is their own. I have worked with Greg several times and he is amazing. My first experience was with a car that was only a few months old, when it was rear ended by a large truck. I was heart broken. A friend, like I am doing now, said there was only one place to select, BOYCE! I was a little nervous when I was called to pick her up... when I saw her, I could not believe it... exactly as she looked on the showroom floor. I drove that car for 10 more years, and never a problem, or hint it had any previous ouches... interior, exterior these guys know what there doing. Got into an accident with my 2013 BMW 335xi and was referred to Boyce by my mechanic. The people at Boyce knew a lot about german cars, called me multiple times in the week updating me on my tear down, and had no problem with me constantly wanting to stop by to see the car. The car was teetering between totaled and repairable and Jarred from Boyce gave me his honest opinion about my car telling me that he suggests it be totaled. If you love your car, take it here for body work. They do a fantastic job. I was hit by an SUV in a parking lot and decided to try out Boyce because it was on my way to and from work and convenient. I drove in without an appointment for a free estimate and was greeted right away and taken care of. The staff are great and they didn't talk to me like I was a stupid woman who knows nothing about cars. They helped me to arrange a rental car for when my car was being worked on. The whole process went fantastically smooth after I was so mad that my car was hit to begin with. And believe me when I say the work they did on my car was BEAUTIFUL. I was very impressed. You would never be able to tell my car was ever hit and it came out looking prettier than went it went in.
